Sikong Longxiang glanced at Yuwen Zongheng and then said in an indisputable tone, "There's absolutely no way Zheng Ming acted."
"You should know, Zheng Ming is alone; how could he possibly have killed forty-eight people from the Chu Family?"
Yuwen Zongheng nodded. Although he doubted Zheng Ming, he agreed more with Sikong Longxiang's words.
Zheng Ming was only one person. With so many of them sword hunting Zheng Ming, the best choice for him was to hide.
"It seems someone wants to muddy the waters in order to fish in troubled waters," Sikong Longxiang said, looking up at the sky with a hint of arrogance in his voice. "I'd like to see who exactly wants to stir up trouble."
While the two were talking, a subordinate ran over hastily to report: "Young master, people from the Chen Clan are approaching us."
The Chen Clan, too, was one of the great families of the Great Jin Dynasty, but their strength fell far short of Sikong Longxiang's.
