The father and son walked into the room and remained quiet before Mr. Guinto finally spoke. "How have you been lately Elijah?" "Just cut to the chase, I know you don't really care about my well being," Elijah said coldly. "What do you really know about this girl, she probably just wants your money." "Hehe, you really don't recognize her?" Elijah gave a sly smile while looking at his fathers' reaction. "What do you mean? I've never met this girl in my life." "You really don't remember killing her parents in cold blood. She was lucky to have been adopted by Master Li at that time." Elijah said as he walked up to the floor to ceiling window and looked down at the garden. He saw the three at the gazebo having a good time and laughing. "Her real last name is Xu." Mr. Guinto's body stiffened when he heard her name. "That's not possible, you were not supposed to have any relations with her." "What do you mean?" Elijah said sternly. It seemed his father was hiding something about Maddie. "Do you remember that day when I told you that your going to study abroad?" "Mmm," Elijah said affirmatively. "I and her father had an agreement to keep you two away from each other. It's best if you let her leave now before things get worse." "What aren't you telling me? And I would never leave Maddie, I'm in love with her and I'm going to ask her to marry me." "They won't allow you to marry her yet. Just give up now while it's still early." "Who are 'they' you refer to?!" Elijah's started getting frustrated. "Everything I did and is doing is to protect you. She is probably being monitored now that she is with you, so just be careful. I cannot tell you more." The way Elijah's father was talking made it sound like Maddie's parents were still alive, but he still needed more proof. Since he wasn't getting anything more from his father he decided to leave.

Elijah walked out to the garden leaving his father in the study since he knew he wouldn't tell him anything. He gave a hug to Maddie from behind making her startled. "Seems like you guys are having a good time, mind if I join?" "Oh, yes, of course, you can Eli." "Mother, its almost Maddie's birthday. I hope you can attend." "Of course I would be there." Mrs. Guinto said excitedly. "Umm, Eli, I know you don't like me in the kitchen but its a tradition of mine to bake my own birthday cake. Is it possible for me to bake my own cake?" Maddie said hesitantly. "Of course sweetheart, you can request anything you want, it's your special day," Elijah said as he gave a sweet kiss on her cheek. "Really? Thank you so much, Eli." Maddie said excitedly as she grabbed Elijah's hand. Elijah was enjoying watching the beautiful smile on Maddie's face. "Elijah when will your wedding be. You're already at the peak of your career, its time to make a family." Mrs. Guinto said hoping they already get married. "Very soon mother," Elijah said with a smile on his face as he looked at Maddie's blushing face.

Supper was ready and everyone continued their conversation in the dining room. Mrs. Guinto was very enthusiastic about learning more about Maddie. She was very impressed by this daughter-in-law of hers. Maddie was more qualified than any socialite she knew. "Elijah, may I borrow Maddie next week. There will be a gathering and I'd love to show off my new daughter-in-law to everyone. Plus Maddie can also meet your grandmother. I know she will be glad to meet the love of your life." Mrs. Guinto said eagerly. "I'm fine with that but you need to ask Maddie yourself. I'm afraid she might not fit in since she is not accustomed to this type of lifestyle." Elijah said as he continued eating his food. Mrs. Guinto looked towards Maddie for her approval. "What do you say, Maddie. Don't worry about your behavior, I can teach you basic etiquette." "Of course I'd love to accompany you, Mrs. Guinto. And no need to teach me, my mother already taught me all I need to know when I was a child." Maddie said with a sweet smile. "Excellent, I'll pick you up next week so we can go shopping and get a makeover. We are going to have so much fun. And no need to be so formal with me just call me mom." Mrs. Guinto said excitedly, she finally got a daughter she could pamper. "Okay, thank you, mom." Hearing this gave Mrs. Guinto a warm feeling.

The three finally arrived back at the villa and Aiden was looking in the slumps. "Aiden, what's wrong? You look worse than when we left here." Maddie asked concerned. "Don't worry about him, he's just used to being the center of attention," Elijah said plainly as he dragged Maddie to their room. "..." Aiden wanted to refute but saw they were already at the top of the stairs. "Hey, what's the rush, Eli?" Maddie said as they arrived in the room. She looked at Elijah's face which looked like he wanted to devour her. Maddie wanted to escape when she sensed danger, but Elijah stopped her as he pinned her to the wall. "E...Eli... Wh...What are you doing?" Maddie stammered. She could feel his warm breathing against her neck. Elijah whispered in her ear. "I don't know how much longer I can wait." Maddie's face started to turn red. Elijah noticed her ears also turning red and couldn't resist but to nibble on it. When he heard her moan in pleasure, this enticed his passion as he started to kiss down to her neck. "Eli Wait. I'm not ready for this yet." Maddie said as she pushed Elijah away with heavy breaths.

Elijah tried to calm his breathing as he moved away. "I understand. I will go and take a shower first." Elijah turned to leave when he suddenly felt Maddie grab his hand. "Eli wait." Elijah stopped in his tracks without looking back. Maddie hesitated for a while before she said. "I'm sorry if I'm not yet ready but I can still help to relieve you. If you want." Elijah turned around with a slight grin on his face as he tucked a piece of hair behind her ear. He pinched her chin to make her look at him as he stared at her brown watery eyes. "Although your offer is a tempting sweetheart, I don't think I can control my self around you." Then he gave her a light kiss on the lips before he left.

Maddie got changed into comfy pajamas and started to read a book on the bed when she heard Elijah come out of the shower only wearing a towel around his waist. She couldn't help but stare at his well-toned abs as she peeked hiding her face behind her book. Elijah noticed her staring and walked towards her and pulled the book down revealing her blushed face which he thought was adorable. "Would you like a better look?" Elijah teased as he watched her try to hide under the bedsheets. "N...n..no need. Go put on some clothes." Maddie felt embarrassed and started to relax once she noticed him leave. The light soon turned off and Maddie felt Elijah joining her on the bed. He brought her closer so that they could cuddle, but to Maddie's surprise, Elijah wasn't wearing a shirt. This made her turn red. "Are you feeling unwell sweetheart, you feel a little hot," Elijah said teasingly. 'Of course who wouldn't feel hot when presented with this celestial like body.' Maddie thought as she tried to struggle out from his embrace with no success. 'Humph, since your teasing me, why don't I give you a taste of your own medicine.' Maddie snuggled closer to him as she rubbed her breasts against his chest and knew he would react since she was wearing thin pajamas. Elijah quickly pinned her down holding her hands above her head. "Trying to tempt me, sweetheart?" Maddie could feel his warm breath near her ear which made her feel more aroused by his dominance. "Let's call a truce," Maddie said hoping she didn't awaken the beast within him. "I'll let you off this time, but I can't make any promises if it happens again." Maddie felt relieved and tried her luck. "Can you at least put on a shirt?" Elijah gave her a kiss and brought her in for an embrace. "Good night get some sleep." Maddie could sense him smiling as he won this round.
