Tristan kicked a gravel rock at her feet so hard it made Marley jump. She huffed dramatically, "You don't even see it-"
"See what, Tristan?" Marley was done with the games. She wanted to hear the girl say point blank what was angering her enough to lash out.
Tristan stopped and wheeled around to stand a step away, and block Marley's path. As a result, she stumbled as she halted mid-step.
"The way he looks at you. The way he...gravitates around you. You don't have to try or make a sound and you have all his attention. All of it. All the time."
Marley's stomach clenched with unease. She knew the person Tristan was referring to. She knew.
"Tristan-"
"He hovers around you like he's ready to take a damn bullet for you, Marley. So yeah, I'm a jealous bitch, alright? I said it. The guys the whole package and you have him. Effortlessly. He's all yours and there's nothing you have to do to get him."
