Alpha Arlo Bianchi - POV
As I walked into my office, I saw Jacob already there with a glass of wine. The moment he saw me walk in, he got up from his place. "Arlo."
"What did you find, Jacob?" I asked him as I made my way over to my chair and took a seat.
"Something strange." he asserted as he sat down. "As soon as the man who shot you ran into the forest, I followed right behind him. I expected him to shift, but he never did, he was faster even in his human form."
"How is that possible? Even if he is a human, he is never supposed to have the strength to outrun a wolf." I said, and Jacob nodded his head.
"But there is more. He did not have a scent on him."
"Not even a human scent?" I asked, and Jacob shook his head.
