Isabella Martini - POV
Before the teardrop could fall to the floor, I held it in my finger, which made Arl look at me. I know Arlo has never shown this side of him to anyone, and I felt a little happy that he was willing to open up to me. "I will kill Gael for you and make sure there are no more problems in your life, Isabella. But I don't think I can give you what you are expecting." Arlo said, and I shook my head.
"I know you are scared, Arlo. So am I. But why can't we give this a try?" I asked him. A heavy silence settled between us while we stared at one another.
