Chapter 1Cafe

The first break happened fifteen years ago.

Humanity had been living normally before then without any ability to use magic or ki, but after the break happened, these abilities started appearing among chosen people.

But the most important thing was the dungeon break.

It was just a small crack at first that no one cared about. The government surrounded it, but they didn't fully lock it up, allowing the citizens to freely take pictures of the crack in space.

However, twenty four hours later, that crack suddenly became bigger and bigger until it formed a portal in space and the monsters started pouring out of that portal.

The government soldiers that surrounded the gate immediately started shooting at the monsters that poured out, but they found that their bullets were no use against these monsters. Their bullets just bounced off the skins of these monsters that charged out and then they were mowed down by the wave of monsters that charged at them.

The moment that the gate cracked, it was the middle of the day, so there were many civilians that had been in the vicinity.

There were many lives that were lost that day, but that day was also the beginning of a new era with the appearance of the first awakeners.

The people who had been near that first break, some of them suddenly felt power surging through them before they unlocked something. They had suddenly gained the ability to use magic.

A system screen appeared in front of the ones that awakened like in a game, showing them their stats and their skills.

Those that receive this power immediately used this power to defeat the monsters that poured out of the first portal.

However, that wasn't the end of that.

All around the world, there were many different portals that started forming and monsters began invading our world from them.

The governments of the world tried working with those that had awakened, but there were just too many portals and too many monsters. With the way things had been going, it seemed very likely that the monsters would soon take over the world.

That was until the appearance of the first S Rank Hunter.

When things looked bleak, like the world was about to end, the first S Rank Hunter appeared.

This was an awakener that was far beyond any other awakener, they had powers that no one else in the world could compare to. With this power, they were able to lead the crusade into the portals and were able to finish the first abyss raid.

With this first precedent, there were many more hunters that came together to raid the portals.

With more and more successful abyss raids, they were eventually able to push back the wave of monsters and reclaim land for humanity.

But the threat of monsters never went away as more and more portals appeared all over the world.

However, humans were a society that could adapt and they quickly adapted to this new culture by creating a new society for it. With a common threat that united them, all the countries of the world quickly entered a period of peace and they created an international organization for managing the hunters. This organization worked for reclaiming more land for humans and to protect humans from new portals that appeared in the reclaimed lands.

Though that was only one the surface.

It seemed like humans had united against a common threat, but in reality, each country still tried to gain as many benefits as they could from this international organization. This international organization soon became a competing ground for these various countries to gain as many benefits as possible.

While S Rank Hunters were recognized as international citizens, not belonging to a single country, most of the time, they were bought out by countries and lived there, protecting it full time.

But of course, they were still free to do whatever they wanted, whenever they wanted.

That was just their right as S Rank Hunters.

But this story doesn't start there.

This story starts several years after the first break, when humanity had already created a new society based around these dungeon portals.

Being a hunter was nothing more than a job for most people because in this day and age, most people awakened some kind of ability. Of course, not everyone awakened powerful abilities and some of them only had minor abilities.

But even those people lived better lives than people who didn't awaken at all.

After all, these minor abilities gave them abilities that far surpassed that of normal humans.

Those with cleaning abilities would clean countless times faster, those with farming abilities could grow enough crops to feed cities by themselves, and those with researching abilities far surpassed normal researchers.

This was an era where all jobs were taken by those with abilities and those without abilities had no choice but to find another means to make a living. Specifically, they did physical labour.

With the new field of monster material processing, these people worked as porters both in and out of dungeons. So they had no choice but to risk their lives to go into the dungeon portals without abilities just to earn enough money.

This had become a world where one's abilities determined everything.

"Maria, Ah Guang ditched me last night! I wanted him to walk me home after the raid last night, but he just left me there and headed home by himself! I hate him so much!" A red haired young lady held tightly onto a black haired young lady as she cried and complained.

This young lady had fiery red hair and piercing red eyes, but her overall features gave her a beautiful Asian look. Along with this beautiful face, she also had a perfect hourglass figure that was impossible for one to look away from.

As for the black haired young lady, she also had an Asian appearance, but she had the more traditional black hair and brown eyes. That didn't mean that she was any less beautiful than the red haired girl, only her figure was a bit less curvy in comparison.

The black haired girl who had been called Maria could only move her hands, so she patted the red haired girl and said, "Seul Ah, you're too worried. He was just embarrassed, that's why he left."

The red haired girl called Seul Ah looked up at Maria with tearful red eyes and asked, "Really? Is that why he ran away? He was just being shy."

Maria comforted her by patting her head as she said, "Yes, he's always been like that. There's nothing you have to worry about."

Seul Ah looked at Maria with those tearful eyes for a few more seconds before shouting, "Maria, you really are the best! I don't know what I would do without you." Then without any hesitation, she stuck her head right into her chest as she hugged her.

Maria patted her arms again to comfort her, but she also felt a bit suffocated from being hugged like this…Sometimes Seul Ah was just a bit too strong for her own good…

The rest of the customers in the cafe all watched this scene with a smile on their face, but they also quickly looked away to make sure Seul Ah wouldn't see them. There was nothing good about getting tangled up with that gorilla woman.

But then, the door to the cafe suddenly burst open and there was a man in a ski mask that ran into the cafe. He raised the sword in his hand and sent out a wave of sword energy that cut one of the empty tables in half before saying, "Everyone put your hands up! This is a robbery!"

The cafe immediately fell silent, but not a single person raised their hands.

All of the customers in the store all looked at this person in the ski mask like they were looking at an idiot.

However, the man in the ski mask didn't care about this as his attention was currently on the two girls standing in the middle hugging each other.

His main focus was on the black haired girl because she was dressed up like a worker of the cafe, so he walked over to her and pointed the sword at them as he said, "You! Go and open the register for me! Then put all the money in a bag and give it to me or else!"

Maria was still trapped by Seul Ah, so even if she wanted to do something, it wasn't as if she could.

When Seul Ah heard these words, she pulled her head out of Maria's chest to look up at this man who was pointing the sword at her. The moment that she saw the sword, she narrowed her eyes and said, "Huh? Are you trying to threaten me?"

While she said this, there was a faint layer of flames that suddenly appeared around her.

The man in the ski mask also knitted his brows when he heard this since he couldn't believe that this girl was still acting like this even though he was pointing a sword at her. He had already demonstrated his sword energy ability, was she really not afraid of death?

So he decided to scare her a bit as he raised his sword to send a wave of sword energy down beside her, but before he could do it, his hand suddenly froze. That was because he had clearly seen her face and he was able to recognize her.

The Red Queen, Lee Seul Ah!

The famous Korean S Rank Hunter!

Why was there a S Ranker in a random cafe that he had decided to rob!

This didn't make any sense at all!

As soon as he recognized the Red Queen, he immediately lost the nerve to rob this place and he turned 180 before running straight for the door.

Seul Ah wasn't able to react in time because she never expected this man to suddenly run away like this.

By the time that she had reacted, the man was already about to run out the door. However, before he could run out, the door suddenly opened and there was someone that came in.

This was a handsome blond young man with piercing blue eyes dressed in a nice white dress shirt. As soon as he came in, he waved his hand and said, "Maria, I'm here for my usual! Also, let's get…"

Before he could finish, the man with the ski mask on ran right into him. However, the man in the ski mask was the one who had been knocked to the ground and the handsome blond young man didn't move a single inch.

After being knocked down, the man in the ski mask quickly stood back up and pointed the sword at the person in front of him as he shouted, "Get out of my way or I'll cut you…"

But before he could finish, his words were suddenly stuck in his throat as he saw who it was that was in front of him.

Once again, it was someone famous that he could recognize them with just a single glance.

The Thunder God, Alexander Windsor!

This time it was the English S Rank Hunter that was affiliated with the royal family!

Just what was going on here?

Why were there two S Rankers in this random cafe by the station that he had chosen to rob!

Arlan's gaze darkened with hatred. “If I knew I was betrothed to you, I would have killed myself before you even killed me!” Oriana mirrored the same emotions as him. He pulled out a dagger and offered it to her. “It’s not too late. Just slit your throat with this and you'll bleed out painlessly.” She accepted the knife, her fingers clutching its handle tightly. The next moment, he was pressed against the wall and the knife was on the right side of his neck. “How about I try it on you first, my betrothed?” “Feel free to try. But when you fail, this knife will first taste your grandpa's blood, then yours.” Anger rose in her eyes, and the next moment, blood was flowing through the right side of his neck. She cut deep enough to severe an important blood vessel. “You should not have challenged me,” she sneered and stepped back, waiting for him to collapse. He simply smirked and brushed his finger along the deep wound on his neck. “Seems like you failed.” She watched the wound on his neck heal on its own and felt shocked to her bones. “You.. what are you?” “Guess?” ----- Instagram- mynovel.20 Facebook- Author mynoveltwenty

To maintain this fragile balance, each year, a handful of "lucky" humans are selected from various districts to attend Lunaris Academy, a prestigious institution that promises glory, status, and a chance to mingle with the elite. Those chosen are hailed as the lucky few, destined to marry powerful alphas and rise as luna. This year, Violet Purple is among the chosen, much to everyone's surprise. For an orphaned girl adopted by a disgraced prostitute, this is a golden ticket to a better life or so she's told. But Lunaris Academy isn’t the paradise it’s painted to be. Everything Violet and her fellow humans have been taught is a lie. Humans are far from equal; they're pawns in a much larger game. The academy is nothing but a gilded cage, and the students are lambs led to slaughter, playthings for the alphas to toy with in their ruthless games. To make matters worse, Violet catches the attention of the most dangerous players in this game, the Terror Four: the Alpha of the North, Alpha of the South, Alpha of the East, and Alpha of the West. Each one is more dangerous, more twisted, and more powerful than the last. But even among themselves, the alphas are divided, each with their own deadly ambitions. Yet, they all have their eyes on her. They expect Violet to play along, to fall in line like the others who worship at their feet, to break under their games. But Violet isn’t like the others. She refuses to bow. She’ll defy them all.

My Alphas' Dark Desires

WARNING: MATURE CONTENT I was eight when my world burned. My family was slaughtered; my home was reduced to ash. And the ones responsible? Gone. All they left behind was a black bandana embroidered with a nightshade thorn—a symbol of death. For ten years, I trained in the shadows. I became a weapon. Now, my hunt leads me to Prestige Supernatural Academy (PSA), the most elite werewolf school in the world—a place ruled by four Alpha heirs with too much power, arrogance, and dark desires. The night I arrive, I cross paths with Dristan, Kai, and Axel—heirs to the East, North, and West Alpha Kings. Arrogant. Vicious. Gods among wolves. They see me as nothing. A weak, powerless stray. They humiliate me, taunt me, overpower me— making me want to rip them apart. So, I make a vow: I’ll destroy them before they ever get the chance to destroy me. Then, on the eve of my 18th birthday, the Blood Moon rises. My wolf awakens. My power surges. And fate? That cruel, twisted bitch shackles me to all three of them. Mates. I want to reject them. I burn for them instead. And when I meet Xade, the wicked, silver-tongued heir to the Middle Belt Alpha King, the final bond snaps into place. Four possessive, dominant, and dangerously irresistible alphas. One vengeful, unbreakable wolf. And a deadly secret tying them to my past. Loving them could destroy me. Hating them could kill me. But in the end… who will ruin whom? And, fuck—why does my traitorous body want all four of them to do it? *************** “Say it.” Dristan’s voice was smooth and controlled in a way that promised devastation underneath. I swallowed hard, my pulse hammering as he cornered me against the desk. Kai was behind me, his warmth pressing into my back, his breath teasing my neck. Axel leaned in, lips curved in a sinful smirk, his hazel green eyes dark with amusement. “Say it, sweetheart. Say you don’t want us and we’ll let you be—maybe.” I clenched my fists. I wanted to tell them to fuck off—but my traitorous body? It was already betraying me.  My skin burned. My heart raced. My thighs clenched against the insufferable ache they caused just by existing. I lifted my chin, ignoring the heat curling low in my stomach. “I don’t—” “Liar.” The single word came from Xade, who had been silent until now. He was sitting in the professor’s chair, his crystal blue eyes burning into mine. He didn’t have to touch me. His voice alone was enough to undo me. He smirked, tilting his head. “You can fight it all you want, little wolf. But we can smell it.” Axel’s fingers traced the pulse at my throat. “Your heart’s pounding.” Kai’s lips brushed my ear. “Your body’s betraying you, love.” Dristan exhaled slowly, his gaze locked onto mine like a predator savouring its prey. “Your scent doesn’t lie, mate.” Fuck. My entire body was on fire. My legs trembled. My wolf purred in my head, eager to submit. I wouldn’t. I couldn’t. So, I did the only thing I could—I shoved Axel back, spun around, and tried to escape. I didn’t make it. Kai grabbed my wrist, yanking me back into his chest. I gasped, my palms slamming against his rock-solid torso. His golden eyes burned into mine. “Where do you think you’re going?” Axel was behind me now, his fingers sliding under my jaw, forcing my head up. “We’re not done with you, sweetheart.” Dristan smirked. “Not even close, mate.” "We're just getting started," Xade drawled. I was trapped. Caged. And the worst part? I didn’t want to run. ***************** Disclaimer: Cover mine, kindly do not use or replicate.
