Warning: 18+ ‘‘Felicia...’’ he whimpered as he entered me from behind. I bit the inside of my lower lip to keep a muffled scream from coming out, which was very close to happening. While he was rolling my nipples between his fingers, I was having a terrible time stifling the groans that were coming out of my mouth. ‘‘It’s okay, baby…’’ he whispered into my ear. ‘‘Just moan for my name…’’ I rested my cheek against the pillow, my eyelids immediately closed tightly, and every time Marcus thrust into me, I was pushed forward, but his pace was slow, and he always pulled out completely before entering me again, making sure that I took every inch of him. ‘‘Felicia…’’ his voice was shaking as he whispered my name, his hand moved to rub my clit, and I felt like my body was about to explode. Chapter 9 HIS WEAKNESS

FELICIA's P O V

The expression of disappointment on Marcus' face continued as his eyes darted from me to Mila and back to me again. He asked me… ‘‘Are you two planning something behind my back?’’ but it didn't sway me one bit.

Instead... I glared at him and asked him the questions that had been going through my head.

‘‘I-is that... true?’’ Incredulous, I retorted as I narrowed my eyes and focused my attention on Marcus. ‘‘What exactly does she mean when she says that we’re going to have a divorce today?’’

I was neglected by Marcus. Mila was the target of his murderous glares, and before I had a chance to ask him any more questions, he moved in closer to her and grabbed her arm. ‘‘Listen here, Mila…’’ He spoke to her in a firm tone. ‘‘You have to keep in your mind that Felicia and I will never end up divorcing each other... do you understand?!’’

Wait… Why was he treating her like that?

After then… Marcus harshly released her arm, which caused her to take a few steps backward.

Mila's cheeks turned red, and she presented an uncomfortable expression. It appeared as though Marcus demonstrated to her that she was lying; I observed Mila clenching her fists while giving me a dark look just before she turned on her heel and exited the room.

This is it!

I believe that this was the answer that I had been searching for all along. Before I lost my memory, getting a divorce was something I wanted, and that’s according to Mila. Now that my memory is gone, I have no choice but to go through with it. I'm going to end my marriage with Marcus!

I simply cannot fathom how I could stand to be in the same room as Marcus. When I was in high school, I had a strong dislike for him. How did it come to pass that I wound up getting married with this asshole?

‘‘Why didn't you inform me about it?’’ I asked while I sat there with my arms crossed over my chest. ‘‘Why have you been keeping it a secret from me, Marcus?’’

Marcus let out a long sigh before sitting back in his chair. At that moment, his eyes were focused on anything but me. I waited quietly for some time as he maintained his silence.

Before he could muster the nerve to look directly into my eyes and begin speaking, he began by running his fingers through his hair. ‘‘I'm sorry…’’

‘‘Sorry?’’ I rasped. ‘‘For what?!’’

‘‘I’m sorry, I was just… I was scared…’’ he murmured. ‘‘I was scared that you will be put under too much pressure since you just lost ten years of your memory, so I chose to hide it from you— I mean, the divorce....’’

‘‘Really?’’ I laughed it off. ‘‘Fine! Let's call it quits on this marriage right away!’’

‘‘No!’’ He shook his head, and I furrowed my brows when I saw something peculiar in his eyes that I had not noticed in him before. It vanished almost as soon as I registered its presence in my mind. ‘‘Given your current state right now… I think it’s not the right time to finalize our divorce. It won't pass muster in court since you can't recall anything…’’

I gave him a quizzical look but maintained my silence nonetheless.

‘‘And in addition to that, what would you tell Kenny if you were going to divorce me right now?’’ When he asked that, I was taken aback for a few seconds.

Kenny… Our son…

He’ right. Despite the fact that I had no feelings for him, I had to at least take into account the predicament that our son is in right now. And I am aware that he’s the one who would be impacted the most if Marcus and I were to separate from one another.

At long last… Marcus' orders were delivered, and we immediately began digging into them.

‘‘And one more thing...’’ Marcus wasn’t done yet. ‘‘Who will assist you in retrieving your memories if you are forced to divorce me at this time? You don't know anyone else save me, and no one will help you in the way in which I'm doing for you...’’

I rolled my eyes as I swallowed the food I had just finished chewing. Too many excuses. ‘‘You know what, why don’t you just tell straight to my face that you’re in love with me, and that’s the reason why you don’t want us to get divorced? And it's possible that the blow from the stick you gave me caused me to lose my memory...’’

And to my utter astonishment, he started laughing out loud. ‘‘Baby, you truly are a really smart scriptwriter... you're good at writing such a convoluted plot...’’

And what he just stated left me in utter disbelief.

Me…? A scriptwriter...?

‘‘What did you just say...?’’ I asked with wide eyes.

How did I become a scriptwriter? To the best of my knowledge, every person in my literary class was aware that I was the weakest student there was.

I could still vividly recall the incident when I was unable to hand in an essay by the specified due date, my instructor disciplined me by making me stand outside the classroom for the duration of the entire period of his class.

Marcus was looking at me with a smile glued on his face as he watched me reflect on my time spent in high school. After wiping his mouth with the table napkin, he leaned forward at the table with his hands clasped together in front of him on the tabletop.

‘‘What?!’’ I asked, avoiding his gaze.

He started by saying, ‘‘I want to tell you a story...,’’ and as I looked up at him, I wondered whether he was going to tell me now what had actually happened and why I had lost my memory.

‘‘What exactly is it?’’

I felt a tightness in the back of my throat out of nervousness, so I reached for the glass of ice water and took a swallow of it before I nodded at him and encouraged him to begin his story.

‘‘Are you aware that I was the one who assisted you with the application for the university that you wanted to attend?’’ his eyes fell to the table as he played with his fingers, and then his gaze jumped up to meet mine, and there was a seriousness that was behind them that caused my heart to freeze in my chest.

‘‘T-that’s ridiculous…’’ I murmured, my laughter was a little too raucous. ‘‘Why on earth would I allow you to assist me when you have been picking on me throughout my entire time in high school?’’

He gave me a wry smile and said... ‘‘But that's the reality...’’ before continuing, ‘‘Your application will never succeed if it weren't for my support. On the other hand, since you didn't want to attend the same college as me, you submitted your application to major in literature, whereas I chose to major in Mathematics…’’

‘‘Really, huh?’’ I still can't believe it, and I knew he could tell by the way I was grimacing at him.

‘‘Really!’’ he laughed. ‘‘And after we graduated from college, we got married, and then you became pregnant with Kenny. I started working in my father's company, and eventually I took over as the CEO. At the same time, you started working from home as a scriptwriter…’’

And I fell silent...

I was completely unable of comprehending what it was that he was trying to tell me. He assisted me with my application in some way. However, why? Why on earth would I give in to him? I despised this man so much! What the hell was he talking about?

What was I thinking while I was in high school? But even though he was the bully king in high school, he was also the student with the highest intelligence, thus it's possible that what he stated is accurate. But I wouldn't dream of going so far as to ask him for assistance with my studies!

I was going to ask him something when the waiter asked if we wanted to order anything else. All of a sudden, I had a craving for seafood, so I ordered some of the seafood that was on the menu list as well as some sushi.

Marcus' brows were wrinkled as he looked at me after the waiter had left the table. ‘‘What?!’’

‘‘I'm allergic to seafood...’’

‘‘Oh...’’ I mumbled as I bit the inside of my lip. I whipped my head back and forth while looking for the waiter at the glass wall that separated the VIP room from the main area to change my order, but then I came to the conclusion that it wasn't a huge concern because it was my food to eat and not his. Then, with a smirk on my face, I added, ‘‘Finally, I found your weakness, Marcus…’’
