Oh! I like ones that bite!

Few minutes after Cyrus went back inside the room, somebody knocked on the door, again.

"What the hell?! who's knocking now?!" Cyrus whined.

Sitting on his bed, "It's probably Lydia! maybe she forgot something!" Joe replied.

"Lydia is long gone dad, stop obsessing over her!" Cyrus said, "I like Lydia a lot more then that girl you used to roommate with, Ha-yoon." Joe replied.

"If you are implying there's anything between me and Lydia, you're not entirely wrong, there's something but I'm not exactly sure what..." Cyrus said.

Surprised by his kid's honesty, "Then go figure it out! she might be your future wife!" Joe replied.

Scoffing, "Future wife..." Cyrus mumbled, "I think the cake got into your head old man! how about you try to sleep, it's pretty late." Cyrus said out loud before there was another knock on the door.

"I'M COMING DAMMIT!" Cyrus shouted and the knocking stopped.

"Maybe if I get to spend some time all by myself, I'll be able to sleep...You're always here Cyrus and it's worrying me." Joe said.

Sighing, "Fine! I'll see who's at the door and leave you be for a while." Cyrus replied and went for the door.

"Yeah...Thanks." Joe said laying back on his back.

When Cyrus Opened the door, "Rudy?" he was puzzled by a nervously smiling Rudy standing in front of him.

"Hi there Cyrus!" Rudy said.

Stepping outside, "You're back to the hospital already? Heard from Seong-min that you were supposed to be having a romantic day or something." Cyrus replied while closing the door behind him.

"Ah yeah! I actually quitted my shift early today, so I can get to the carnival and have some fun with Blake which I did! it was an amazing time, but then I was called back to work, so yeah..." Rudy said.

"I see, it's tough to be a nurse...so what brought you here?" Cyrus asked.

"I'm working right now, but I'm not working, working...if you know what I mean."

"I don't Rudy, elaborate."

"I mean right now I have a little bit of free time, and I was thinking can we talk? we never really had a chance to talk just you and I." Rudy said.

"Is this about what happened the other day, I'm sorry about the whole Revenge thing.

I was way in over my head and was being an asshole... Seong-min was right, I shouldn't have tried to, hurt you like that." Cyrus said.

Taken back by the sincere apology, Rudy blinked twice then looked around them before he hesitantly suggested, "Umm, no one is watching...so can I give you a hug?"

Cringing his face a little, "O.....Kay?" Cyrus said and reached for Rudy while Rudy reached for him.

They awkwardly tried to wrapped their arms around each other, and since they failed miserably, "Let's just shake hands." Rudy suggested, "Yeah." Cyrus nodded and they shook hands.

After a weird moment, Rudy cleared his throat and spoke "Umm, so I wanted to talk about something, it's related to Julian..."

"I see, let's go somewhere else..." Cyrus replied.

Nodding, "Alright." Rudy said.

...Few minutes later...

"You think Flint was being truthful?" Cyrus asked.

"After I introduce him to Seong-min the first time, I was leaving the cafe and he tried to get me to stay but I refused and explained to him that we're no longer friends.

Flint didn't like it, and during the time that he and Seong-min were working together trying to solve that case, he kept trying to reach out to me, and few days before his death..." Rudy replied.

...[ Tiny Flashback]...

"Flint...what the hell are you doing here?!" Rudy hissed at his ex-best friend who decided to show-up at the hospital.

"Rudy listen to me! Please just few minutes!" Flint begged.

"Leave before I call security!" Rudy replied.

"Nonono! please Rudy! listen!...We didn't kill him! Julian didn't kill himself because of us, he was murdered!" Flint said.

Surprised but furious, "Are you out of YOUR MIND?!" Rudy shouted causing heads to turn and face them.

Shushing him, "Just...calm down and come with me! let me explain!" Flint replied while guiding Rudy away.

...[End of Tiny Flashback]...

"So he said it was nobody's fault and insisted that Julian was murdered?" Cyrus questioned.

"Let's be honest here, Flint is the murder Expert, I mean he is...was a literal murderer!

And! he solved murder cases too, so you'd believe he knows a thing or two about a murder." Rudy said.

"So the suicide note?"

"According to Flint, he thinks somebody killed Julian, then wrote the suicide note to blame us for his death, and Flint also said something about this possible murderer being someone who was very familiar of Julian..."

"Familiar? how?"

"Like he knew Julian well enough to fake a suicide note!...btw I expected you to get angry Cyrus, how come you're calm hearing all of this?"

"To be honest, I'm not that surprised...I was starting to have my doubts, I'm talking about Julian's death." Cyrus said, "Really! oh wow...so it seems like Flint might have been right about this after all!" Rudy replied.

"Maybe, did he say anything about this possible murder?" Cyrus asked.

"Yeah! he said the murderer probably killed Julian because he has it against Julian himself, then used the note to frame us, it was a convenient method." Rudy replied.

Confused, "You Mean that Julian was...the target? that doesn't make any sense? he doesn't have an enemy...didn't have." Cyrus said.

"But apparently he did and this enemy was very skilled that he managed to trick the police, and trick someone as smart as Joel! he even tricked you Cyrus, tricked everybody! made me believe for 7 years that i was responsible for somebody's death!" Rudy replied.

"You still bullied Julian, so don't think you're innocent just yet." Cyrus said with a frown.

Nodding, "You're right... Anyways like I said, Julian might've had an enemy...the question is why? why would Julian be murdered?" Rudy replied.

"The question is who, if we know that...it might help us understand why." Cyrus said.

"Actually..." Hesitant, "Flint thought of a possible 'Why'." Rudy stated.

"Oh really?...Care to explain?" Cyrus said.

"Personally, I don't get it why would anyone kill Julian I mean, he was literally a ray of sunshine...but Flint figured it might be because of Nikolai." Rudy replied.

"Nikolai?!" Cyrus was shocked, "Why would Flint think of that?"

"I don't know he didn't get to explain it to me...i actually had to go back to work, so Flint said he'll come around again to explain it, only he didn't...he jumped off that balcony as you've seen it." Rudy replied.

"Have you told Nikolai about all of this? and how come you're telling me this too? and now? you've known for few days, so why the delay?" Cyrus asked.

"I'm planning to tell Nikolai tomorrow, and I've gathered the courage to tell you today... because I heard about What happened at the carnival, I heard there was a fight and when they described the people to me, I instantly knew it was you and Moses." Rudy replied.

"Yeah...he showed-up with a fucking little girl, that he shamelessly named Julian!"

"I still couldn't believe it when they told me he had a kid...he seriously named her Julian?"

"Yeah... totally ruined the name for me." Cyrus replied.

...[Tiny flashback]...

Approaching the transferred freshman student in the black gothic dress, by the lockers, "Hello freshman, or should I say fresh-woman?" Julian said jokingly.

Sighing, "I would still prefer freshman." Cyrus replied annoyed.

"As you wish, freshman." Julian cheerful said.

"Why are you bothering me?" Cyrus turned to face him, revealing his eye patch, "Cool eye patch! but anyways, I'm a year above you and as a concerned citizen, I feel obligated to warn you about the king of bullies." Julian replied smiling.

Confused, "King of what?!" Cyrus asked.

"I need to tell you, there's this guy 'Moses' with his two other friends, 'Rudy' And 'Flint', he calls himself the king of bullies and he's a much more annoying guy than I'll ever be.

He usually comes after guys not girls, but he does chase after cute girls like you, to get them to date him, so I thought maybe you should be aware of this, since you're a girl..." Julian said while looking over his own shoulder.

"Is that your pathetic attempt at flirting?" Cyrus said, "Well rest assure I'm not a cute girl, I'll be safe! and don't call me a cute girl!"

"Listen, he's a blonde bulky kinda guy, tall and has a nasty scar on his face, you're far from safe young lady!" Julian replied.

"I beg your fucking pardon? I'm not a lady okay so back off!" Cyrus replied shocking Julian.

"Okay I see, you're strong independent woman, I get it...I'm just saying that it won't stop him from chasing you!" Julian said.

"I'm Not A Woman God Damn It! Stay Away From Me!" Cyrus hissed angrily at His Face.

A moment of realization hit Julian, "OHHHH!...I get it!...you're...okay, well you should keep that a secret around here!" Julian replied.

"Are you being transphobic right now?!" Cyrus asked.

"Absolutely not! I am supportive 100%!...But, Moses probably isn't, I mean he's been bullying me and my friend for being queer, so you're probably going to get on his Shit-list if you tell him you're a man.

Like I said he doesn't go after girls, but if you are what you say you are, he will probably come after you..." Julian explained.

"Look, I might be small but I bite, Hard!

So neither you or your Moses guy scare me, alright!" Cyrus replied.

Smirking, "Oh! I like ones that bite!" Julian said, "That's sexual Harassment." Cyrus replied.

"Okay, you're a bit crazy too! sign me up!" Julian replied chuckling.

"What the hell?!" Cyrus cringed.

"Listen Freshman, I will keep this conversation between us a secret, and I'll do my best to protect you too!" Julian said.

"You know, You're the crazy one!" Cyrus replied.

"I would prefer being called eccentric instead, but suit yourself!

I'm Julian by the way, Julian Baker I'm the king of the outcasts here, what's your name interesting one?"

"It's none of your business."

"Okay that's kind of a long name... how about a better question?

What name you wanna have, when you finally start presenting like a dude?"

"Why do you care about my trans name?"

"I'm interested in you! I'm curious and if you don't answer my questions, I'll get more and more curious, I'll start to become more annoying and clingy." Julian replied.

"So if I answer your question, you're gonna leave me alone, for the whole year?" Cyrus asked hopefully.

"The whole year? that's too much, so I'll leave you alone just for today." Julian replied.

Sighing, "Shit, fine! I'll take a day...okay I want to be called Cyrus, because my current name is Cyra."

"That's cool! okay see you around Cyrus!" Julian said cheerfully before he walked away.

"Jesus, what the hell is wrong with that guy?" Cyrus wondered while opening his locker, "I don't think I've ever met someone with this much energy on a Monday! God! I hope he doesn't stick around...but I have to admit his smile is cute.

UGH?!! what am I saying?! he's a dumbass with a dumbass name! who still names Their child Julian!" Cyrus said cringing.

...[End of Tiny Flashback]...

"Julian is a popular name, besides The kid is innocent...I just hope he's been a good dad to her." Rudy said.

"Apparently he is...Moses was shaking like leaf for her sake, it's like he was a completely different person." Cyrus replied frowning.

"So does that mean, he's become a good person?" Rudy asked.

"Even a villain makes a good parent, so Don't be quick to judge." Cyrus replied.
