Cyrus: I haven't heard from Lydia in years, and all of the sudden she's sending me these weird messages.

Ha-yoon: so you think this Lydia girl has something to do with Seong-Min's kidnapping?

Cyrus: I guess so, her messages say much.

she must've seen something important that she wanted to talk to me... maybe Lydia believes that Flint is still in town like I do.

Ha-yoon: but the police said they found a clue that points Flint skipped town with Seong-min?

Cyrus: based on what? some motel staff gossip? tch, Flint set them up obviously! he's hiding in plain sight but where exactly is what I Need to find out.

And that's why, I'm at Lydia's apartment complex right now, going to meet her with a Pizza in my arms as a peace offering.

Ha-yoon: just so you know I really appreciate you sharing these info with me, for some reason Jin didn't want me to continue helping him today...I bet it was Radka's orders.

Cyrus: that gangster woman seems to hate you for a reason, what's her deal?

Ha-yoon: whatever is the reason Radka hates me for, I don't know what it is... I've met her before but never spoke to her directly before Nikolai's hospitalization...we're strangers at best.

Cyrus: when Julian died you came into my life unannounced, I didn't even ask for your help but you still helped me anyways Ha-yoon...you never explained why.

Ha-yoon: why are you suddenly talking about this?

Cyrus: I already have an idea about what your secret could be.

Ha-yoon: what secret?

Ha-yoon: I appreciate the sweet somewhat disturbing words of encouragement, but talk to me about Lydia.

Cyrus: *sighing* no, she sent only few messages and stopped contact.

And when I was at the hospital with my dad, she sent a message asking me to go to her apartment...i didn't consider going at first, but then right after she sent her last message asking me to bring a pizza when I do decide to go to her house.

I thought Maybe she wants to reconnect with me.

Anyways I'm planning to hear what she has to say.

Ha-yoon: hold on, reconnect? you guys were close friends?

Cyrus: close...not really, but we were good friends.

Lydia was awkward back in highschool, she was always alone and gloomy and I couldn't blame her, she lost her family and will to live gradually during that time.

I was alone myself especially without my boyfriend, so when I wasn't hanging around with Julian or he was being all bestie with Nikolai, I would sit with Lydia in the library.

At first we never talked and we sat far away from each other.

But then one day I passed by her as I was choosing a place to sit in, it's then when I noticed her incredible drawings and I told her I liked them...it was the first time I saw Lydia expressed a positive emotion, she smiled.

Ever since then, we started hanging out in the library...She would show me her new sketch and I would praise her for it.

it didn't last though, after what happened to her sister, she went back to her previous habit of pushing people away, even me...her only friend.

Ha-yoon: you're actually a nice person, why don't you try dating the other weird girl? Seong-min's sounds like a perfect girlfriend for you?

Cyrus: Seong-min is just a friend, just because I'm trying to find her doesn't mean I like her...I didn't lose feelings for you, I lied about that.

Ha-yoon: I figured so... I'm going to break your heart.

Cyrus: my heart was broken from the start... what you're going to do is crush the pieces scattered on the ground...Love is a mixture of pain and pleasure, you can't separate those two ingredients.

Ha-yoon: what a hopeless romantic...ugh whatever, let's be serious again.

About Lydia, so you might have been her only friend back then but still, how did she connect you to Flint? why offer you help specifically?

Cyrus: well, there's something I gotta confess... lately I've been suspecting that I have a stalker of my own, the feeling of being watched always came when I was out at night following Flint.

it could've been Lydia who watched me, she must have been stalking me while I stalked Flint myself, and when he kidnapped Seong-min, she thought that she should help.

Ha-yoon: I guess there is honor amongst stalkers then? why would she stalk you anyway? why not talk to you like a normal person?

Cyrus: only Lydia knows why...oh, I just got outta the elevator and I'm heading to her apartment right now, girl lives on the 12th floor! Jesus!

Ha-yoon: 12th floor?! goddamn!

Cyrus: I'm going to hang up now...if you want to tell Jin about this, go ahead.

Ha-yoon: it's already Dark, and we're running out of time...if you think Lydia has a lead that can help Jin, then I am within obligation to tell him...our priority is Seong-min.

Cyrus: okay, you do you...and Ha-yoon...

Ha-yoon: yeah?

Cyrus: I'm sorry, you're not pathetic... you're struggling, like any other human.

I'm helping you right now because I feel guilty about insulting you.

Ha-yoon: hah, I figured much...bye my troublemaker.

Cyrus: bye...love.

*Beeb*

Sighing, Cyrus opened his messages and took a look at Lydia's last message.

There was something he didn't tell Ha-yoon, that he was sure that Lydia wasn't home, and that he was going to find someone else inside that apartment.

'bring a pizza box with you as a cover, I told Flint I'll order him a pizza as a gift, I won't be home by then...I don't think I'll ever be back from this.

so save her, I never wanted to help him...but I only did it, to give you your chance.

...Meanwhile...

Outside the interrogation room, "She won't crack! she won't just fucking budge! when did Lydia get trained to handle interrogations?!" Radka couldn't believe what happened, she has been interrogating Lydia for hours and the girl wouldn't even respond to any of her questions, no matter how severe her beating was.

With Lydia's cat clinging in his embrace, "You really thought you can beat a confession out of Lydia? where are we? the dark ages?!" Rushil said angrily.

"As if we have another clue? the police think Flint is outta town, I don't buy it...but Lydia's escape confirms it." Radka replied.

Jin watched the couple glare at each other for a second with uneasiness, then his phone buzzed.

"Huh?" checking the message he got from Ha-yoon "Maybe you should just go and search her apartment...Ha-yoon just said that Cyrus is headed there to meet Lydia, apparently Lydia herself contacted him." Jin spoke up.

Confused, "But we have Lydia right here?" Radka questioned, "Ha-yoon doesn't know that, Cyrus could be headed to Flint and Seong-min." Jin replied.

"Figured that boy has something to do with this...Lydia's cat is named after him, I thought it was a coincidence at first." Rushil replied showing them the name engraved on the tag that was dangling from the cat's collar, "we should have thought also about the possibility that Lydia may have gave her apartment for Flint to use...her escape was a diversion so we would think she's helping him get out of town." he added.

"I knew Cyrus was hiding something! I don't know why would Lydia contact him or why he chose to tell Ha-yoon, I only care about finding my sister and I'm going to Lydia's apartment to do that." Jin said determined.

"I'll go with you too, where's my gun?" Radka spoke out loud, and a girl immediately rushed to her side and handed her a gun.

"Jin are you carrying your own or should I ask them to bring you one?" Radka asked.

"I have one too, what about You Rushil are you coming?" Jin said.

"I'm not coming with you, I'll go to see Nikolai instead." Rushil replied.

"I thought you said you're not going to have dinner with him tonight?" Radka said.

"I wasn't, I chose to help you instead.

But since I'm useless now and unwelcomed, I'm going to see my son... I'm sure he'll be happier with my presence." Rushil replied glaring harder at Radka, "Call me when you find Your sister." Rushil added to Jin before he walked away with Lydia's cat in his arms.

...Meanwhile...

Sitting in the kitchen with her hands tied behind her, Seong-min felt uncomfortable in the lingerie dress Flint made her wear, she didn't like how he would glance at her occasionally, happily humming a tune as he searched the cupboard in Lydia's kitchen.

"So this is the great date idea? movie night indoors...I hope you have something tasty we can eat at least." Seong-min said uninterested.

"Oh buttercup! I think indoor dates are the best! besides, you don't have to worry about food, my friend's kitchen here is filled with all sort of snacks, also I'm making us popcorn, and my friend said she'll order us pizza as a gift too.

I know how much you love pizza and movies, I figured it'd be the perfect date!" Flint replied.

"You have the place secured, why am I still tied up to a chair? it's not like I'll run! it's the 12th floor." seong-min said.

Turning to face her, "I'll untie you when we make it to the bed, so be a good girl until then." Flint replied winking.

"Wow, you must be the most romantic killer I've met." Seong-min said sarcastic.

"Thank you." Flint said chuckling, "We're going to die man c'mon! untie me at least." Seong-min begged.

"Ugh, you're too Loud! I should gag you! you might alert the pizza delivery guy when he comes." Flint said.

"Ugh okay don't untie me...but don't gag me either, i want to eat, I'm hungry." Seong-min replied.

"Good girl!" Flint said before he heard the doorbell ring, he mouthed to Seong-min to keep quiet as he went to check it.

When Flint Opened the door, He faced Cyrus with a nice smile, "Pizza delivery!" Cyrus said while shoving the pizza box in Flint's arms.

Curious, "You good dude?" Flint asked, "I really need the bathroom! I'm sorry!" Cyrus said pushing past him in a hurry.

Flint immediately chased after him, this was a small apartment and most of the rooms are connected to each other, if Cyrus went inside he'd see Seong-min and then Flint would have to get rid of him too.

"HEY!" Flint yelled at Cyrus but it was too late, "You sick bastard." Cyrus spoke as he looked down at Seong-min who was surprised to see him.

"You fucker! I'm going to kill you." Flint said, "You took the words right out of my mouth, Flint Miles." Cyrus replied cracking his knuckles.

Flint then hurried to grab a knife from the counter, but Cyrus was faster and grabbed Flint, knocking him to the floor.

"Two words motherfucker, Julian Baker." Cyrus said before he started delivering punches to Flint's face.

"Cyrus don't! forget about him! untie me and let's run!" Seong-min cried out.

"Shut up! look at the situation he put you through! he doesn't deserve your mercy or mine!" Cyrus replied as he continued punching Flint over and over.
