Assurances and Threats

Michael removed his straps and followed David out of the plane. The extraction team led them to a waiting convoy of black SUVs. They drove for a short distance before arriving at a heavily guarded compound surrounded by high walls and barbed wire.

As they entered the facility, they were escorted into a large, stark building. The interior was cold and functional, with minimal decoration. The team led them down several corridors before finally arriving at a huge hall.

Michael nodded, taking in the austere surroundings. "Thank you."

The agent left, and Michael and his security team settled in. The hall was spacious but empty, with a few tables and chairs scattered around.

David sat next to Michael, still on high alert. "Sir, are you sure about this? This place feels like a prison."
