"Kookie?"

The boy called 'Kookie' looked up.

He was just 10 years this year and still had baby fat on his little face but anyone who saw him once, couldn't help but take another look at him.

He had the face of an angel and will definitely grow up to be a stunner.

"hmm? TaeTae?" The boy replied with an arched brow.

He looked at the boy who had called him out. He was a bit taller than him but was the same age as him.

In contrast to his angelic face the boy in front had a charming face, you know, the type that just brings a smile on your face when you look at it, his face was exactly like that plus that sunny smile added to his charms....(*starry eyes*...haah~)

Looking at that innocent face the taller boy sighed internally but decided on speaking and spoke slowly, " You see, I will not be able to play with you from tomorrow onwards.."

"eh?"

Today they were making mud balls and our little Kookie being a perfectionist had made a perfect sphere which was glistening like a pearl, only to drop it because of the sudden news.

He was the type who got nervous easily and he was really shy too, as a result, he kept fidgeting when nervous, which led to many awkward moments, just like now...

No one wanted to be friends with him till he met his first friend, TaeTae, who talked to him, even though, he was always alone and didn't like to speak much.

TaeTae didn't find him weird and he was the first to give him a hand and called him his 'friend'.

Now the same friend was saying that he will not be here from tomorrow, Kookie almost had a nervous breakdown, "Did I do something wrong? Am I annoying you?", he asked clumsily, almost in tears.

He didn't want him to go...

He didn't want to be alone anymore.

If it was from before he met him, it would've been fine but now, now that he knew the joy of having a friend, he didn't want to lose this noble and precious feeling and person...he was determined to keep it, even if, even if he has to change for it....

He will change himself, he will talk more, he will do anything and all he wanted was for him to stay as his friend.

TaeTae saw him flustered and felt a bit guilty, '....he is misunderstanding my words....'

He hurriedly corrected himself, "No no...it's not like that. You see my parents are moving back to our hometown and of course I'll be following them back so....."

"TaeTae, don't leave me here alone.." Only TaeTae understood him, TaeTae introduced him to music, without him he will go back to being alone, he didn't want it and being a child he didn't know what it meant to 'move'.....

TaeTae didn't know what to do, he liked the kid too, being with him was fun.

Even though he came off as being shy but when he felt closer to you, he was like an open book.

Both of them were always in the same wavelength and naturally, they had gotten closer even though it has only been about 3 months of knowing each other.

If possible, he too, wanted to stay with him but it was not possible.

TaeTae being the way he is, has many many friends but being with Kookie was the most fun.....

He didn't know what to say when a lightbulb went on inside his cute little brain!!

"Ah!"

He was always a bit animated, well, he was an otaku and believe me it added to his charms...his eyes went wide while his mouth was open to say 'ah!', he cupped his left palm and put his fisted right palm vertically over the other, making a small sound...(C'mon guys who haven't watched this pose once or twice while watching anime.....it took so long to describe it...but V is cute so, who cares....hehe)

"TaeTae, you won't go?", hearing the usual sound TaeTae made when he thought of something, Kookie thought Taetae found a way to stay by his side and looked up expectantly with glittery eyes. (We've another animated character here..haha)

"eh.....Kookie, I'm sorry ...I have to go with them"

"TaeTae--" one push and his tears will gush out.

TaeTae hurriedly went to hold his shoulder so that he will look up and not act as an abandoned puppy," Kookie, listen to me. Just because I'm going doesn't mean we won't stay friends.....we' ll always be friends, okay?"

A small smile finally blossomed on Kookie's face as he nodded, "hmm"

"Don't worry, it's not goodbye...it's 'Let's meet again some other day'....okay?"

"hmm"

"You love music right?"

When it came to music Kookie's eyes instantly gained life, "hmm, I love music. Yesterday, I saw a performance of G-Dragon sunbae-nim, it gave me goosebumps...I think I'm liking it more and more...blah blah...". He continued speaking very fast, his passion could be seen just by that, watching him like that, TaeTae just smiled.

When Kookie saw that smile he came to his mind and his ears turned red, "ahem!...TaeTae, what are you getting on?"

"Just listen ah.."

"Okay.."

"You see, I'll definitely make sure to attend BIG HIT Vocational High School in 6 years time, so, let's meet there again, okay?"

"Big Hit?"

"hmm...Another friend of mine said that he will enroll there and I'll be happy if you could do the same...So, can you promise me this?".

He held out his pinky to him.

Kookie went on to deep thought and after some time looked up again, "We'll meet again?"

"hm" TaeTae nodded once.

"You'll stay my friend?"

"hm..hm", TaeTae nodded twice.

"Okay, I promise!!", he too held his pinky out and the kids made a promise to meet 6 years from now....

But they didn't know that this promise was the trigger to the earth-shattering change that will hit the world of K-Pop and Music, like a storm!!

A Spring day...

Sakura blossoms were floating in the air...it was a new session.

Many students in the same school uniform, were passing by the huge gates to enter the premises.

The common thing about them, except for their uniforms, was that all of them were beautiful and had their own presence.

As they kept on smiling and greeting, it was like watching stars in the night sky, they were all glittering.

There stood a teenager in front of the gates and watched the huge school before him....

The carvings in the wall read, "BIG HIT Voc. HS"

It was the orientation today...

Everyone who passed by him took a look because he was standing there just like a rock but just that one look and they were struck...

He still had some baby fat but his face had bloomed, he had become more charming.

He stood there alone, it seems he was not able to make many friends after all but still something had changed in him, his presence was too strong.

He looked like the snow on the top of the mountain, he was standing there alone but his aura was emanating just from his posture.

He was still shy but now he always looked up, he had grown up.....

He was our little Kookie from back then..

"TaeTae, I kept my promise. I wish we meet each other soon", he mumbled and stepped inside the school ground with a small smile, increasing his charm level to the max.....
