This part should have a title

The next day, when I was waking up, I felt the greatest of headaches battering on my skull. I really didn't think the hangover through, I know I needed it but Jesus, that was too much, I think. I move my arm around to look for anything to hug closer in order to ease some of the pain, I know I had regen but I don't think it caught up with the hangover with how many I drunk last night. I am feeling better faster though, and I'm pretty sure that ain't normal, unless you involve magic and potions.

I move around and feel someone beside me on the bed. Because of which, I remembered what happened after the drinking session. Apparently, Camilla wanted to have some 'extra time' with me and brought me to her quarters in the trader, no doubt the sight of me accompanying the drunk Camilla had earned Lucan some weird glances but didn't mind it after we entered the room.

I really hope the room was soundproof because Camilla's screams of pleasure were very loud and I don't want to have to return here much more embarrassed. I scooched over closer to Camilla as she was facing away from me in order to spoon her. She stirred awake with my actions, and greeted me, albeit very much like someone who wanted more sleep.

Camilla: Good morning Alger, last night was amazing by the way. That was seriously the best night of my life.

"Good morning too, Camilla, I also had a great time, haven't enjoyed myself like that in years."

We snuggled together for a few minutes or so before Camilla returned to snoring. I, on the other hand, got out of bed and noticed my hangover was mostly gone, just a minor stinging pain but it's nothing I can't bear. I left her room quietly and proceeded downstairs to be greeted at the sight of Lucan preparing to open the store. He noticed me looking at him and stared back with a mixture of exasperation and a little bit of anger, I don't think it was towards me though. By the looks of it, he did hear the noises but it wasn't enough to disturb his sleep, just enough for him to know his sister is fucking a guy.

He just ignored me and continued setting up shop so I took that as a cue to leave after dressing back up in my armor and gathering anything I have left. I had no septims left in my pouch, guessing it was spent buying mead. Normally, this would be bad but considering we're setting out today towards whiterun, I bet we can nab loot on animals we can encounter on the way there, like wolves. There's also the few wolf pelts we had coming here so we can sell that and buy food for the journey.

I exit the trader and notice the sun high up in the sky with few clouds around it. I stretch my muscles for a few before heading to the inn, where Elena stayed. Upon entering, Elena was ready with her bow and a bag on her shoulders, by the looks of it, she just got done preparing.

I offered to handle the pelts for her and she nodded, noticing she was already carrying a lot, while I was only carrying my weapon, which was light, for me at least.

"Elena, before we go, we need to sell these pelts and buy food for the journey, never know what will happen."

She nodded but stayed silent. We both headed back to the trader and upon entering, we were greeted by Camilla who was staring at me the whole time after leading us to Lucan, he gave us a 100 septims for all of them, which me and Elena proceeded to split. I decided to let her have my share though, since it'll still be spent with supplies.

While Elena was busy buying the things for our trip, I neared Camilla, she saw me coming and smirked in amusement. When I finally sat down in front of her, I greeted her, like any other man should.

"Good morning, Ms. Camilla, I'm guessing you had a great time last night? I certainly did."

Camilla: I certainly did, Alger, and please, call me Camilla, like you used to call me just this morning.

Even though her tone was happy, I caught on the underlying meaning she said to me, so I responded.

"Well, Camilla, I was under the wrong impression it seems, I can only say that I am not ready to commit, although very close friends can work, I can stop by here if you want whenever I pass, which I know will be often I assure you."

I regrettably rejected any hopes of her making me commit to her alone, I just met the woman yesterday so I don't really want to commit, at least not yet, I need to get to know her first. Sex is one part but attachment is another.

She stayed silent for a while, possibly understanding my answer before smiling and kissing me, I reciprocated it and after a few seconds, she stood up and spoke.

Camilla: I won't have you now, but I will, sooner or later.

I just smiled in response while she left to go towards Lucan to help with anything while I neared Elena, seeing her finishing up with the supplies.

Elena: here, I bought a bag for you, and your supplies and can you carry mine? Its not that I can't carry it all its just easier if you carry it, seeing your…..body.

"No problem, I can even carry you if you want haha."

Although I ended it as a joke, seems Elena didn't as she just stayed silent and responded after an awkward while.

Elena: You finished? Then lets go.

I followed her out of the trader while saying goodbye to the Valerius siblings and saying goodbye to Hadvar's family on the way out.

Hadvar: have a good journey friend, I will go to Solitude and inform the General of my survival. I feel there is much that will happen soon. Good bye.

"I absolutely agree, and that is why we have to go, plus, I have an interest in these 'companion' people, I mayhaps will have much to enjoy in their company."

After Elena said her goodbyes, we set off to whiterun. On the way there, we encountered some wolves but it was nothing the two of us couldn't take care of. As our journey progressed, Elena and I increased our coordination with each other, almost like we were destined to be a pair, but I quickly dismissed that thought.

Whiterun was in our sights in the horizon as we came across three people fighting a large thing in the distance. Is that, a giant? Well, this is a first, though since the chance has arrived, I wouldn't mind testing my mettle against it. Wielding my hammer like it was nothing, I rush in to the fray, noting the surprised looks the three who were fighting it gave me. Not that I can blame them, I just straight up rushed to the giant's leg as it broke, making it lose its footing as it went stumbling down. Not missing the chance, Elena shot two arrows to its eyes as it lost vision, further enraging the giant before I rushed up to it again and used my hammer to hit its stomach area and with my enhanced strength, it was blown back, making the giant, who was in a kneeling position, force to sit down as I jumped and smashed by hammer on its forehead, its skull caving in as blood seeped out from it. Slowly, moments pass before the giant collapses backward as the earth rumbles as it collapsed.

I take in a deep breath as I smiled and the adrenaline of the battle reduced. A few moments pass before one of them approached me, she was a woman who was in the early 20's if I had to guess, black hair and like all other females that I have come across, she was beautiful, with a fit body. The other woman was a redhead, with some claw tattoos on her face, that still did not hide her beauty, although her armor is a bit inconvenient, if you can even call it that. And finally, the last one, who was a black-haired man wearing a full set of armor, wielding an axe half his height.

Ria: greetings stranger, I would have liked to thank you bu-

"(chuckles) no thanks are needed woman; I just love me a good fight."

Ria: first of all, my name is Ria and second of all I-

She was cut off by the second woman greeting me.

?: Greeting, we are of the companions, can I know who you are?

"My name is Alger, and this is Elena, my companion. We were heading to whiterun but seeing this thing, I could not pass up the opportunity of a good fight."

Elena nodded in the woman's direction as she returned it.

Aela: My name is Aela, well met Alger. We were also planning on heading to whiterun since the request ended rather….abruptly.

"I see, then perhaps me and Elena can join you, she's good with the bow and she has a message to give to the jarl."

Aela nodded and said.

Aela: Well, if you have nothing else to do, perhaps we should go, no time to waste if the message has anything to do with the Jarl.

I nodded and together, we traveled to Whiterun, as we traveled, I came to know that the man was known as Farkas, and the place we just left was the Pelagia farm. I didn't really pay any attention to the place when I rushed the giant, I don't concern myself with things like that. I mean, its not like I remember names of places well, if I want to remember a location I just think about what I did there and base on that. I also cleaned myself with my ability, it was just a few blood and dirt but I felt clean and pure, not that I am. I'm glad I wished for this.

Not long after the encounter, we arrived at Whiterun. It was a big place; I don't know the comparison to the game version of it but I'm sure this is bigger. At first, the guards were suspicious of us, cant blame them really, there was a civil war ongoing and people like us arriving must have been weird. Still, they let us through, seeing as we were with the companions, seems like fighting that giant also gave us a free pass to the city, I wouldn't want to know what would happen if we were not with people familiar with the place.

As we reached the center of the town, the three companions turned to us and said.

Aela: since you guys have some business with the Jarl, I'll leave you to it, head to Jorvasskr after you are done, lets have a few drinks there.

"I have nothing else to do so I might as well, I don't know about Elena here, I don't think she's much of a drinker."

Smelling a challenge, Elena did not seem to back down because-

Elena: Not much of a drinker huh, count me in Aela, I'll outdrink this fool.

I just smiled in victory, seeing her agreement on the matter. We parted ways after promising to meet there later. Me and Elena then proceeded to Dragonsreach where I was told the Jarl is residing. After climbing some steps, we were stopped by the guards.

Guard 1: Halt, what business do you have with the Jarl?

Guard 2: We can't let you in without knowing your intentions.

"We have news for the Jarl, it is of helgen."

The guards were stumped but after thinking for a while, they let us in. As we entered the halls of Dragonsreach, we were greeted to a sword to the face.

??: Who are you? What is your business with the Jarl?

I was about to respond in kind of how rude she is in greeting a guest with a sword when the Man sitting on the chair cuts me off.

Jarl Balgruuf: Irileth! Do not be rude to guests, greetings strangers, I am Balgruuf the Great, Jarl of Whiterun.

"Greetings my Jarl, I am Alger, and this is Elena. We have news of Helgen.

Irileth: From where do you get such news? Rumors perhaps?

The woman, who I came to know was Irileth, spoke inquisitively.

"No, both of us were there, as…bypassers."

Jarl Balgruuf: Alright then, lets hear this 'news' of yours.

Sensing the doubt in his voice, we explained what we experienced in Helgen, fulfilling our objective upon seeing the shocked look in their eyes. After hearing everything I had to say, the Jarl fell into a thinking pose.

Jarl Balgruuf: Dragons huh, this is certainly a problem. A very big one indeed.

Ignoring the pun he made, I instead asked him about the other problem.

"My Jarl, with the arrival of the dragons, Riverwood seeks help."

Irilleth: My jarl, we need to take action immediately, we must send troops to Riverwood.

A man, who I didn't notice until now, spoke against the idea.

??: But my Jarl, if we do so, the Jarl of Falkreath may take it as an act of provocation!

Jarl Balgruuf: Calm down Proventus, if Siddgeir has a problem with it, he can talk to me. Irileth! Send some men to Riverwood at once. As for the two of you, the both of you deserve a reward for this information.

The jarl then proceeds to fetch us both 500 septims each for the trouble, to say this is more than enough is quite accurate.

Jarl Balgruuf: Also, if you want more septims, perhaps you can help my court wizard, he's been rambling on about some stone about dragons, if you could talk to him that would be great.

I look towards Elena first to see if she would agree. Elena just gave a nod so I just shrugged and agreed. He led us through the side of the halls and see the back of someone, muttering things unintelligibly.

Jarl: Farengar, Farengar! I brought some people to help with your request, talk to them about it, I'll go and see if there are any problems left attending.

Farengar: So the jarl sent the two of you? Nevermind, I need you to go to Bleak falls Barrow, records say there is a map of Dragon Burials buried there, deep within the tombs. Get it for me and you will be rewarded.

"Ok, I'll go, but can we go tomorrow? We need to rest and eat first before doing such an arduous task." I looked at Elena for confirmation and all I got was a nod.

Farengar: alright then, I do recommend doing it early, if the dragons truly are coming back, we need an advantage over them.

"Alright, we will go for now, I will go the sooner I am able."

I nod to Elena to beckon her to follow me. Once we were out of Dragonsreach, Elena approached first, saying the words the I only imagined she would say.

Elena: So, up for a drink?

another one, also the pic of Elena is on the comments.
