Red Light District

"I should probably get moving." I reminded my current distracted self that indulged in the bright lights and the noise of the city at night.

I then proceeded to jump down leaping off the wall that I stood on and diving down through the cold air, that didn't bother me anymore due to me circulating my source KI constantly, landing on the roof of a house. I continued jumping across from roof to roof, the tiles sliding off every single time I landed, pushing forwards further into the middle of Percy.

Hmmmm. If I was one of the Kings, where would I be in the capital? I started thinking, trying to locate Lance's position, whilst I strolled along multiple rooftops. My eyes however failed in aiding me for what I came here for, and instead subconsciously focused on the varied culture and people that wondered about in the capital. It was something new, and naturally I was drawn to it.

I slapped both of my cheeks together, aligning my thoughts once more.

"If I had a name like Lance... what kind of person would I be? A sex addict? A cocky prick? Wealthy? Daddy issues? Tick, tick, tick, tick. I think I've got him spot on with that description." I said out loud to myself, stereotyping the connotations that would come along with a shitty name like Lance.

"So with that said, I can currently only think of one place where he could possibly be, right about now."

The Red Light District. I overheard about it whilst passing by on the rooftops from a group of fat, rich old men that were huddled like a cult, all with hiccups from the alcohol. Knowing about this place was definitely a step in the right direction, but finding it would be a different story.

"NEAUHAAHAAAAAAHAA!" The horses screams of annoyance as another carriage blocked the road for the rest, slowing the traffic and braking the silence that I peered over whilst scouting far and wide with my enhanced source KI vision for the red light district.

"There!" I said, my finger pointing north east to an illustrious rose red colour that poured out the picturesque buildings.

It took me no time at all to jump over to the bleeding light that first caught my attention, and sure enough, it was the Red Light District. The Red Light District was crowded with men and female's alike, surprisingly, all surrounded by multiple personal of the opposite gender servicing them in their desired ways. Multiple races were included like elf's, beast people and even demons, even though they were all forbidden from entering Human territory, but it seems when the Human Kingdom wants to capture these people as slaves, it's ok for them to enter their land. Aren't humans just so overly greedy?

Female escorts wore revealing outfits that weren't entirely slutty and retained dignified and pure beauty. On the other hand, the male escorts would be tied up with chains, on leashes, topless and even wore makeup that actually complemented their sharp and gentle features. It was a whole parade of weird kinks that rich people in the capital indulged themselves in, and unfortunately, the escorts had to obey their wishes.

God! I'd never want to trade places with those poor men, even if it meant being rewarded handsomely. Their job for their whole life, is satisfying others and being humiliated, some even abused, only to then get sold of to someone and either be treated worse or slightly better. More often though, they're probably treated worse.

I finally decided to take to the streets and jumped down from the roof into an alley I put my hood up over my already covered face and looked around twice before I walked out. I then minimized the amount of Source KI I would pump around my body. Enough so I wouldn't get cold, but as little as possible so I don't alert Lance Dust if he actually was here.

I walk around the entire district, running laps around and searching every nook and cranny of this place all to find... nothing. Absolutely, fucking nothing!

"I best get going then." I said to myself as I sighed simultaneously. I once more headed for a dark alley as can't go past the guards who check people's ID when walking in and out this district. As already proven at the entrance to the capital, getting in would be a no go. So getting out of this place was also a no go.

"C'mon you whore, don't pretend you like it." I heard commotion inside of the alley.

"S-stop it! An I'm not a whore you fat ass!" A brazen young woman snapped back at the drunk old guy who was aggressively pressing up against her and pushing her back into a wall.

"What the fuck did ya call me slut? This is yowr job, so take it!" The man didn't let up and his words came out as a slur, drool dripping from his mouth like a starved dog.

"Stop the bullshit, you old dog! I can get into big trouble for killing someone in the district especially knowing my occupation, so please don't push me or we'll both ruin our lives." She said with a forced smile on her face as she pushes him back with force. The man stumbled back and fell to one knee, rage seeping in his eyes as he ignored her words and charged forwards at her.

She swiftly pulled out two daggers from behind her back near her waist, preparing to protect herself. No fear was shown on her face, only composure as her eyes looked at him like he was prey.

"HAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!" The old man shouts out as he gets closer, her stance slowly shifts ready to intercept him, but when he gets there, her weapons were of no need. I step in between them in a split second before either can react, a mercury glow radiating of my body, and hold out my open hand in front of him. The mans face collides into my hand, which I then propel backwards, smashing the back of his head into the ground killing him in an instant and leaving him out to bleed.

My ears rung and my blood pulsed through my veins, coursing at unimaginable speed, yet my face remained blank and my emotions unchanged. I was still only focused on finding Lance and killing him.

"You've changed haven't you? Your even bigger now, huh?" A frail voice whispered in my ear. It sounded awfully familiar, and brought a warm feeling into my heart. It wasn't my brothers that's for sure.

"It's like we become two separate entities. And for what, I ask myself? Why did we start this? It will end how it ends each time. So wake up!" My mind focused back on reality, my head felt like I was released from being held underwater.

What was that?
