Revelation

In her dreams she always hear a particular rhythm, of soft sounds similar to birds whispering with the sound of many waters descending from a waterfall just echoing her name.

From afar she glimpse as he descend the hills like a demi god. This he does every night she sleep.

When he strolls towards her, she does not see his face cos he has on him a unique black and gold mask but his lips, hmmm his lips are inviting

Just one touch, she is on fire.

Put your arms around me, tell me you love me, be my girl.

He will always whisper

Do it, say it. Say am the only one that makes you feel like this

He will always pull her, give her the softest gentle kiss, and say

Don't you know am on fire.

Once his lips touch hers she just can't explain the way she feels.

She always close her eyes as his inviting lip touches her

His kiss always take her to some magical land and when she open her eyes

She always wake up in her own sweat

This dream happens every night since George's death.

Who is this mysterious man that has invaded her dreams?

Today as she open her eyes she heard Mary banging on the door and calling her name.

Amanda open up!

Amanda it's Mary

Are you home?

Mary hold on, will be down in a second.

As Amanda ran downstairs to open the door for Mary

Mary as usual was full of life and she really looked super excited.

Amanda you are not dressed?

I told you I will be here for 8am

So sorry Mary, I dozed off after taking all my drugs.

You still on all the Blood Pressure drugs?

Amanda has been placed on some serious Blood Pressure drugs since  George's death

Truth be told the weather outside this  morning was chilling but how can she explain a romantic dream to one's sister in law?

Don't mind me Mary, am sure am ok.

Amanda replied trying to downplay the cold sweat pouring down her face

Truth be told Mary was really pretty.

Mary was never interested in boys

When they were growing up. Mary always had her nose in one book or the other.

Mary Evergreen was what they call beauty and brains.

Most of them were not surprised when she not only became a doctor but she was top of her class in medical school

Coming from a super rich family she never cared for wealth or fame

She had secretly hated being wealthy.

She felt her dad was never around because he was always running after money. Going after one business deal or the other.

Keeping late nights and always making her beautiful mum cry at the dining table, hoping he will be around for them to have a family dinner together

He always made the gossip column. He was sometimes photographed with international model in Paris or having fun with girls a little bit older than Mary his daughter on his private yacth.

It was no surprised when he had a terrible accident and he was fighting for his life.

That 3 major lawsuit were filed by some parents that lost their daughters partying with him in his Ferrari.

All the 3 under age girls died on the spot

It was a terrible period for Mrs Evergreen but she carried on like nothing happened.

Most times when they were growing up their mum secretly thank God that he never survived the accident cos the court case was really bloody.

The case ate into the family finance. Millions was spent to settle the families of the late under age girls.

George had promised Amanda right from the day they started dating that he was nothing like his dad

Mary had vow that she was not down with the love nonsense. She was going to love herself 1st before anyone.

Mary stood tall. Even taller than most men.

Mary was as tall as George and George was a good 6foot 2inc and she had always joked to George and Amanda that she was only going to fall in love with a man that was way taller than her and the man must be a doctor. A kind Doctor willing to travel the world to save lives.

That's a tall order Mary said George one evening as they all had dinner.

She started thinking of George again

George was her pillar and her world. She smiled, Sometimes she does not realise how lost in thoughts she has gone, till someone will mention something that snaps her back  .... Like how Mary just asked her a question

Amanda is it ok if I make myself coffee while you quickly shower?

Ok Mary as Amanda ran upstairs for a quick shower.

On getting into the shower Amanda could not stop smiling. She remembered a private joke she and George had when she was 17 years

When Amanda was 17yr she had been invited to attend Marys 15th birthday.

Her dad gave her a cute red sport car for her birthday and her mum was going to send her and 2 of her friends to holiday in Paris

Mary refused both gifts and walked out of the party.

Mary had everything Amadan dreamt of as a kid, A beautiful house in the center of town.  Loving Parents, Cars that take her to school, money, real estate, companies shares and more but  all she wanted was to read

One day she told George that she begrudge Mary

He simply said,

Marry me and you will get all she has.

It turned to an inside joke between George and Amanda

As Amanda left the shower she hurriedly look for an outfit to wear to go to work.

She saw her red gown. A gown that always reveals her beautiful figure

Why will she put on such a provocative outfit when my late husband has not been gone a month.

Reaching out she picked her black dress. This particular out shows off her long full legs

Yes, more like it. This is more appropriate.

On the drive to the hospital Amanda wanted to know what the check up the doctors from the mainland was all about

Mary told Amanda that she actually joined other doctors so she will have a chat with her relative
