/"He was pleading with me for us not to have a divorce,/" he revealed, picking up his cutlery to start eating.
/"What?/" Sasha was shocked.
Michael acted nonchalantly, /"he told me to promise him and I did promise him because I know whatever it would be that would cause us to have a divorce will not be from me./"
Sasha frowned, /"why would you think something like that?/"
/"You know Sasha,/" he paused on his food, /"love is never enough to hold a marriage. There are other basic things that helps keep a marriage, such as honesty. And then you have loyalty, trust,/" he dropped his fork and started counting on his fingers.
