30 : Meeting with the Ogata

It was eight in the morning when Haru finally woke up.

Akihito was not at his side and the apartment was silent.

Haru got out of bed when he noticed the glass of water and the sticky note on it.

"I have an important meeting this morning. I'll be back before lunch. Take your medicine. Your breakfast is already ready. I made you a fruit shake if you aren't very hungry." it was written.

Haru grabbed the prepared pill right next to the glass and gulped it down. He removed the note from the glass before finishing its contents.

He then notices that there was another note attached with the first one. It said :

"I ran your bath and got your clothes ready. Until I come back, watch TV and above all don't open the door to anyone.

I love you,

Aki."

Haru smiled.

Akihito remembered that in the morning, Haru watched the two episodes of Inuyasha which aired around 9am.

Haru used to watch this anime when he was still living with his parents.

Haru got out of bed and hurried to brush his teeth and take his bath.

Akihito had prepared a new long shirt and sweatpants for him. Haru observed the clothes and decided not to wear them.

Still in his underpants, he returned to the bedroom and entered the room at the back which served as a closet.

He rummaged through Akihito's shirts and grabbed the one that smelled the most like the Alpha. Haru inhaled the scent and smiled, satisfied.

He put on the shirt then grabbed Akihito's shorts. He had to tie the laces three times to make sure the shorts didn't fall down.

When he was satisfied with his outfit, he headed for the kitchen.

His breakfast was waiting for him on the counter and his fruit milkshake was in the fridge.

Hungry, Haru decided to take both. He sat down in front of the television and devoured his breakfast while watching his anime.

At 10 o'clock, he did the dishes and cleaned the apartment, which was already very clean since Akihito was constantly taking care of it. The alpha was truly capable of doing anything.

Haru was starting to doze off when he heard the doorbell ring.

He froze, his heart pounding.

He tried to remain as quiet as possible. The doorbell rang once or twice more before stopping.

Haru waited patiently. He was scared. When nothing more happened, he decided to grab his cell phone still in the bedroom.

It was then that he heard the beeps of the digital dial of the entrance.

He thought it was Akihito and rushed towards the door but an unfamiliar smell crept into the apartment when the door opened.

Haru and the stranger gazed at each other for a long time.

"- This child will hear me!" a woman's voice echoed behind the stranger.

The woman froze when she saw the omega.

Haru began to shake violently, overwhelmed by the strong presence of the two Alphas. He was about to pass out when the man grabbed him. Haru struggled, crying in the man's arms while shaking his head.

"- Haru!"

The omega turned his head towards Akihito and immediately bursted into tears. Akihito ran to his side and hugged him protectively.

Haru was crying so hard, it sounded like a child crying.

"- Son," the man said in Akihito's direction. "You have some explanations to give."

They waited for Haru to calm down so they could talk.

The Alphas couple were the parents of Akihito, Ren and Alicia Ogata, two highly respected tycoons in the country.

Alicia was used to her eldest son not being heard from for months, but she found it odd that he hadn't contacted her after moving. Akihito hadn't even explained to them why he had fired Sissy and how he had known that Mr. Karl was involved in so many problems.

So she decided to visit him in person. Zaizen had provided her with his new address and his house's passcode.

Akihito told them everything in every smallest details, so much so that Alicia cried and hugged Haru. The omega was still scared of them, but Alicia smelled almost similar to Akihito's, which comforted him and Ren was the spitting image of Akihito with a few wrinkles and wisdom added.

" - So Pam knows?" Alicia asked while playing in Haru's blond curls, while the latter marveled at the pictures Alicia had taken of her kittens at home.

She had compacted everything on her electronic tablet to be able to develop them later.

Akihito smiled, noticing the obvious affection his mother had for Haru.

" - Pam takes care of him. Haru has PTSD and depression. He also has some tendencies..."

" - I know," Alicia sighed. "I saw the scars on his wrist earlier."

Akihito sighed in relief, noticing that Haru was still smiling at a video of the kittens running behind a toy mouse.

" - I can't take him to the hospital so the treatment is sometimes difficult to follow but... He is much happier." Akihito explained.

Haru looked at him smelling his pheromones. He moved to sit next to Akihito. His head resting on the alpha's shoulder, he continued to watch the videos on Alicia's tablet.

" - He's so cute," smiled Alicia. "It doesn't look like he's going to be 23. I thought he was at least 17."

"- So K. Communication is your work?" Ren asked.

" - I'm sorry...I should have let you know," Akihito said, feeling guilty.

" - Who's next on your list?" Ren asked.

"-...Doctor Reinz."

Haru dropped the tablet on the carpet and stood up in a panic.

The fear in his eyes was so vivid that Akihito hurriedly hugged him.

Haru was hyperventilating. Alicia rushed to the kitchen to get a paper bag and Ren crouched down in front of the omega who kept shaking.

" - Hey hey! Calm down," Ren told him. "It's just Akihito, Alicia, you and me here. Okay?"

Haru nodded but he was still having trouble breathing, like he was drowning. Akihito brought him on his lap and stroked his back. Alicia returned with the bag and Ren told Haru what to do.

Haru listened and took deep breaths and exhaled long into the paper bag.

" - That's it. Take your time and breathe deeply. Eyes on me. Don't think about anything else, stay focused," Ren explained calmly to Haru.

Ren had studied medicine before deciding to take over the family business. So he knew a little about this sort of emergency. He was glad Pam had turned to medicine.

When Haru had calmed down, he snuggled into the crook of Akihito's neck to smell his pheromones.

"- We'll help you son!" Alicia said. "Everyone who hurt this adorable kitten is going to suffer!"

Akihito was actually glad his parents were on his side. He was afraid his mother wouldn't accept his decision to walk away from Angela, but unexpectedly, since seeing Haru, she hadn't mentioned Angela once. Which greatly reassured him.

Haru was Akihito's top priority.

He wanted to see the omega smile and he hoped that Haru would decide to stay by his side forever...
