LILITH

My mom and Alexa were sobbing for their loved ones on the floor and I'd had enough.

I walked closer to them then kissed both their foreheads gently then said,"Don't worry I'll get Lilith back and get revenge."

I then stood up and was about to walk out of the door when Curtis held my hand. He then said,"Mr Oppong, you may get hurt."

"Let me go, Curtis."I said without looking back.

He tightened his grip then said,"No, I won't let them lose you too."

I turned to look at him and when he saw the intimidating electric blue glow from my eyes, he let me go.

I turned again, took a few steps then vanished.

Curtis just went to attend to the two mourning women.

Lilith and Frankie were sitting by a pond, just looking at the spectacular sunrise while Franklin watched the two from not far away, smiling to himself when a small whirling current of wind made way to a tall, dark man appearing.

Franklin abruptly turned as the man yelled furiously,"Lilith! Get over here, right now!"

Lilith and Frankie turned back and the blood drained from her pretty chocolate face.

Franklin stood in my view of my f

daughter as I said,"Get out of the way Franklin, you don't have to die yet."

"I won't let you hurt her anymore."He said.

I chuckled then said,"What I'm going to do to her would be nothing compared to what I'll do to you anyway."

I then blasted a bolt of lightning at him which he dodged but not fast enough to dodge the powerful wind I blew.

He was thrown in the air and before he could land, a powerful whip like current of of water hit him hard into the ground.

I then stretched my arm and he yelled in pain as his internal organs started spontaneously bleeding.

I then appeared right next to Lilith and roughly pushed Frankie back then started dragging her away.

She struggled for me to let her go but my grip was far too tight.

Gushes of red water sprayed through my fingers as she blasted water with pressure enough to cut my skin like a knife from her wrist.

I cringed in pain then she screamed,"Let me go!"

I turned to her angrily then yelled at her, for the first time in both our lives.

I said,"Lilith, what on earth is wrong with you?! Do you have any idea how worried we were?! And you made your own grandmother go literally insane?!"

"What is wrong with you is the better question!! You let your personal issues to get between you and your own daughter and didn't care about how she felt when you tore her apart from her best friend, her true love, do you have any idea how I felt?! How on earth was I unlucky enough to have such an insecure hothead as a dad?! I hate you!"

Those words pierced through my heart like sword thrusts and I wasn't ready for the lightning bolt Franklin blasted at me.

I yelled in pain as Franklin yelled for the children to escape.

Lilith ran to take Frankie's hand then vanished with him.

Once I was on my knees from the pain, Franklin, who's was still vomiting out blood, ran super fast to get out of there.

I landed on my hands and smoke rose from my skin.

I didn't care about any of my injuries, rather that my daughter hated me...

Anneliese walked towards me and saw no visible injuries, but my distant expression showed her something was wrong.

She then asked,"Honey, is everything okay?"

"My daughter hates me."I mumbled.

"What? Lilith doesn't hate you."She said.

"Yes she does, she said it and that's probably why she did all this."I said.

"Lilith will never say something like that."Anneliese insisted.

"Well she did, she was in her right mind and had no form of emotional compulsion or guilt, she said it."I said.

Anneliese was quiet for a few seconds till she asked,"But why?"

I looked at her and she saw the tears welling up in my eyes as I said,"We separated her from Frankie."

"But we were only trying to protect her."

"But we never listened, honey, she still loves him."I said.

That came as a shock to her and she asked for clarification.

I then said,"She said she loved him with all her heart and I'm sure that's why Frankie came from the future, to reunite them, I'm a terrible father."

"No you're not."She said,"We'll find a way, we'll do..."

"Enough, just let her be happy, for once."I said then left.

Apollo had been watching the two of us then looked down in consideration, then vanished.

Lilith was sitting with her head resting on Frankie's shoulder as he stroked her hair, she really was, happy.

She then had this sudden urge to take a walk alone so she excused herself.

She got to the place then stopped abruptly when she saw Apollo standing right there, looking at her with a deep frown on his face which was visible even with the dim moonlight.

She dropped her jaw and asked what he wanted.

He then said,"Lilith, we want you back."

"Well sorry, but I'm not going back."She said.

"We need you, do you have any idea what you're putting everyone through?! You killed the children and almost killed dad!"

She remained silent as he asked,"Why are you doing this?"

"Because all you people have ever done is hold me back, hold me back from my full potential, from my life, well I'm done with those chains, I want to be free to live my own life."

"You're not going to come with talking, are you?"

"Apollo, I don't want to hurt you."

"Neither do I."He said.

He just snapped his fingers then she lost consciousness and fell to her side.

He slowed down her fall using his light then went closer to her till he heard Frankie yell,"What are you doing to Lilith?!"

"It's not your business what I'm doing with my sister now back off."Apollo said, angrily.

Before Frankie could react, a prison of ice sparks made of ice I h formed around him and he was stuck.

He kept blasting it but the annoying solid water just kept absorbing the impact with no visible cracks or melts.

Apollo placed his hand over Lilith's face then gasped and said,"I knew it."

"Apollo, what are you doing?!"I yelled.

He turned abruptly then saw me then said,"Dad, Lilith is under someone's control, that's why she's acting like this."

"What? No she isn't."I said.

"You can't tell because the person is using a different light to conceal it but it's true, please, let me heal my sister."He begged.

Frankie yelled for us to let her go but I ignored him then allowed Apollo, hoping he wasn't going to control her mind himself.

Apollo gently tapped her forehead then she woke up with a deep breath...
