Serve the king

That morning, Alina couldn't deny that she got tired quickly, they didn't want Nala to help her but Alina was naughty and they couldn't help Nala lifting some things when the things they needed to design came to the palace. He knew that he had breakfast and slept well last night but as time went on he was getting more and more tired.

He sat in an old and broken fountain when someone grabbed his hand which surprised Alina so she stood up again while holding his hand. The eyes stared at the man almost as tall as Halston, he had long white hair tied back. His black clothes were thick and he could only see his hands and head.

"Who are you?" he was still looking at the emotionless young man in wonder.

Of all the creatures he saw there, this was the only one without a cloth face covering like the others. But his green eyes were glowing and he had a white complexion as if he was not mortal like him.

"I'm sorry, dear queen, if I surprised you and we just met. By the way, I'm Gauldron, one of King Halston's followers," he introduced himself to Alina.

Alina couldn't believe that she was going to meet someone other than being with her in the palace.

"I'm Alina by the way."

"I know, we first met on your and Halston's wedding day."

Alina raised her eyebrows, she remembered those who went to the wedding, she didn't remember anything there especially about Gauldron. He just nodded.

"Do you need anything?"

"I don't need any more work from the king, he said I should help here and if you give me an order, I will be happy to do it."

Alina looked shyly at the workers, the smile and joy on her face also disappeared. He gradually noticed the tiredness on the faces of the workers but they had no complaints and continued what they were doing.

"I can help you in an easy way."

Alina was slightly surprised and immediately turned to Gauldron.

"Using magic…"

He was even more amazed by what he heard. "Really, you can do that?"

"If you so command, dear queen."

"If you so command, dear queen."

He looked into Gauldron's eyes for a moment to see if he was telling the truth and then he nodded like a child.

"If that will make the work of those here easier, can you help us?"

He bowed for a moment while placing one hand on his chest in respect to her wishes. Gauldron straightened up while Alina just followed his every move. He took out a black cane that was as long as his shoulders, he stomped on the ground three times as if knocking, Alina's eyes widened as the wind grew stronger and suddenly there was light from Gauldron's direction.

Alina closed her eyes and covered her eyes because she felt she would be blinded by the light. The light and air quickly disappeared as if it was sipped, Alina quickly removed her arm and her eyes widened when she saw that the entire palace had changed clothes.

He turned to the fountain with water flowing there, the flowers and plants in the garden came to life. He couldn't help but smile when he saw that the whole palace was alive. He quickly went inside, the entire palace had a carpeted floor, the drawing on the ceiling was clearly visible.

Nala and Gauldron approached him.

"Thank you very much, look the whole palace has come to life, thank you very much, Gauldron," Alina happily thanked Gauldron's power.

"Nothing, lady of the house."

Alina clutched her head as she felt dizzy.

Nala immediately noticed his paleness and weakness.

"Looks like you need to rest, dear queen."

Alina couldn't tell that she needed it. "Maybe so, but can we know what the king's favorite food is?"

The waiter stared at him for a moment. "For what?"

"He looks tired from work and care, he looks like he needs some good food too, doesn't he?"

"But your majesty said that he will not go home tonight because he has a lot to do and finish."

"Is that so, but he might change his mind, okay?" Alina scolded Nala.

"If that's what you want, your majesty, you can follow, but you need to rest."

"Yes, I will rest and after that you will help me cook."

"You can order the waiters, you don't have to work."

"I'll be more tired if I don't do anything all day," that was Alina's only excuse but in truth she didn't want to do something that would annoy Halston, as much as possible she wanted to win his heart, she still thought she could do more return to his family so he cannot die in that place.

He rested for a moment and as he wanted to happen, he himself would cook the food prepared for Halston even though he was not sure that he would come that night. The king wanted something simple, fruit, soup and grilled chicken meat. Alina was happy especially because even though Alina knows how to do housework especially cooking, it was the first thing her mother taught her.

'You should know how to make your husband happy by cooking something delicious, especially if he comes from a tiring day at work,' Alina smiled as she remembered what her mother told her when she finished cooking and preparing the dinner for Halston.

Alina just sat in the capital chair while waiting but she didn't realize that she was sleepy due to being tired all day, she just bent over the table and thought that maybe Halston would come anyway to show what he had prepared for her . He didn't realize that he had completely fallen asleep there.

Alina felt as if someone was watching her while she closed her eyes, she slowly opened her eyes and noticed that Halston was sitting on the right side where she was facing. His eyes widened and his spirit completely woke up. He stood up in shock and did not expect to see the king there.

"How are you? Your Highness, Halston, you look tired, I prepared you with-"

"Didn't I say you are not a servant here," Halston reminded him.

"I just want to serve you as your wife."

Halston was left staring at Alina then she looked away.

"Did you see the change in the whole palace-ow! By the way, come here!"

Like a child excited that Alina could show Halston something strange, she didn't pay attention to who was with her. He was running while still dragging Halston by the hand, not knowing where to take him.

Alina was panting and then she let go of Halston there.

"Look at the whole garden and the fountain, he's fine and working!" Alina is proud of the king.
