Arabelle ran as if her life depended on it. Immediately she got the main door, she opened it and then slammed it close after getting in. Her knees weakened and she slid down the door breathlessly.

Her pants came out softly as she hugged her knees to her chest, her face buried in her laps. What just happened? Why did she have to make a deal with this man? She just hoped she wouldn't regret it in the near future. She could visualize the complications and problems that would arise for her if she got too close to him.

She raised her head up slowly. She almost flinched when she saw a pair of long legs in front of her. She quickly stood up, dusting her clothes unhurriedly and her eyes met with Asher's.

He was staring down at her, his gaze calm but somehow, it looked as if there was a storm brewing in there. Arabelle quickly looked away from him.

"How did you get in?" Arabelle really wanted to slap herself after asking that question. First, this was his house and secondly, there were probably other doors leading inside since the house was so big.

Asher simply raised a brow at her and Arabelle laughed awkwardly. "Don't mind me. Now tell me, how are you going to help me with my revenge?" She asked, walking towards a cushion to sit down.

Asher just sat on an arm chair opposite hers. "I know you have plans already so what are they?"

"I am going to go to school. For some months, maybe. The first that will never be able to show her face to the world is Mr. Diaz's daughter. I am going to go to her college. It's called Green springs." She explained.

"How do you intend to do that, little bunny?" Arabelle thought about it hard. Her index finger tapped her chin repeatedly before she spoke.

"Makeup. I need to change my face so Mr. Diaz wouldn't know it has anything to do with me. It's more like me being in disguise." Asher nodded.

"When do you want to start?" Arabelle already thought about this beforehand.

"The day after tomorrow. I need to send my resignation letter to my workplace first." Seeing that that was all for now, Asher got up from the arm chair, heading upstairs. He suddenly stopped when he was halfway through the stairs.

"Go eat. The dining table has been prepared." He resumed walking up the stairs after that.

Arabelle eyes twinkled excitedly. She hadn't eaten anything since morning. Her joy tripled at the smell of food when she walked into the dining room.

There were different delicacies arranged neatly on the table. She couldn't even finish half of what was placed there. She couldn't help but wonder if the food was thrown away after they were done eating.

She dismissed the thoughts in her head. She ate until she was full and could not move properly. Her hand rubbed her belly delicately, feeling the weight of the food inside her.

Arabelle walked to her and Asher's shared room to have a shower again. She had sweated so much when she was eating because the food was a little spicy.

Asher wasn't in the room when she got there. After she was done showering, she just wore the pyjamas she had put on before.

She jumped onto the bed, laying on her back happily. Her mind was at rest knowing that her revenge would soon be in motion.

She slept off and soon enough, it was morning. Her eyes cracked open and she closed them back immediately the sun entered them. She sat up and looked around the room. Asher was no where in sight.

She walked into the bathroom, undressed and got under the shower. There was a bath tub but she didn't use it. For some reason, she preferred using the shower.

The water hit her skin continuously as she scrubbed her body with a sponge. Immediately she was done, she walked out of the bathroom. She was startled when she saw Isabelle in the room.

"Ma'am, clothes have been provided for you in the closet." Isabelle pointed at a brown door, which was also present very close to the bathroom door.

Arabelle already knew it was a closet. She had seen Asher come out of it a couple of times.

"Sir Asher is not around so he has said you shouldn't wait for him. He also said you are free to start college tomorrow." Arabelle nodded and waved Isabelle off.

She walked to the closet door and opened it. Her eyes widened in amazement when she saw the amount of clothes that were in there. One section of the closet was filled with men's clothing while the other was filled with women's own.

She walked to the section of women's clothing and her eyes scanned the clothe. They were neatly arranged. One part for formal wear, casual wear, party wear and all others. She finally went with a dark gray joggers and a black crop top hoodie.

She looked herself in the full-length mirror provided in the room. Feeling satisfied with what she was wearing, she walked out of the closet. She grabbed her phone and emailed her resignation letter to her company. She had already prepared it advance before.

After sending the resignation letter to her company, Arabelle just stayed in the room doing nothing. Somehow, everywhere was boring and Asher wasn't even around.

She sighed, finally walking out of the room. She might as well do something interesting. She went to the kitchen, and when she saw Isabelle, she smiled at one of the woman who looked like the head maid, politely asking if she could take Isabelle away.

Once the woman nodded in affirmation, she grabbed Isabelle's hand taking her away from the kitchen.

It was only when they reached the living room that Arabelle released Isabelle's hand.

She smiled at the young girl who looked as if she was trying to process what had just happened. "Can you tour me around the house?" She asked.
