Chapter one A sense of freedom

I peered through the hole on my wall my usual viewing spot only to see my dad Mr Perkins give an envelope to a young woman about my late mum's age she was not as beautiful as my mum though but was not too bad in looks but there was something about that woman that gave me cramps in my belly I was quickly snapped back to reality by the creeking sounds of the stair case I stood up and cover the hole with my bed stand I jumped on my bed and covered my eyes to pretend to be asleep suddenly the door was opened and my dad walked in he sat beside my bed and poured the glass of cold water on me in an attempt to wake me up I quickly pretended to be just waking up "go pack your things Katerina I've finally found someone ready to take you with your madness" I just stared at him without saying a word " I'm talking to you or have one of your episode of madness began oh you are just like your crazy mother " that statement made me snap I jumped on him and began scratching him arm and bitting his shoulder he wailed in pain and punched me in the stomach which made me curl up due to the pain then he rose me by my neck and slapped me he then threw me back on the bed " Thomas would be coming to pick u up " he said and left I hated that ruthless man called my father at least I was getting away from his torment.

the next day Thomas my only male servant came to pick me up he gave me a black dress to wear and Cecilia was asked to brush my hair and make me look lady like when I was done I was led down the staircase by Thomas as my dad turned he couldn't believe his eyes he gasped for air as I walked down the stairs gracefully he then took my hand from Thomas and walked me outside and for the fist time in 19 years I stepped out of my house I marveled at the environment it looked so morden unlike my house which was like an old castle I was exchorted into a car it was way cooler in person than in pictures and books, my dad closed the door and I was driven away without knowing where I was headed.
