Jayden's POV

Truth be told, I didn't want to let her go. I don't know where the urge came from. I and my demon really haven't had enough of her, but I have to let her go untouched, just for tonight. I don't go back on my words.

I knew I wasn't going to be myself until I and my demon hungrily devour her, so I thought of a less-obvious way to make her stay.

Before I entered the bathroom, I stared at the door and locked it with my power.

I could hear her struggling with the door from where I was taking my bath.

She didn't stop worrying about what I'd do to her if I met her, stuck in the room. I smirked devilishly as I thought of this under the shower.

I finished bathing and stepped out into the room, only to see her remove the door handle right as I approached. Trouble really follows her every day of her life.

She immediately got to her knees, fretting like a homeless cat. I paused and stared at her for a while before asking her to get on her feet.
