Jayden's POV

It's already getting dark, as I noticed while jotting down some things in my study. Earlier today, after taking my bath, I got dressed and called on Lauretha to clean up the room for me. That's what I do whenever I'm done having sex with her. Like I instructed, she was out before I could step out of the bathroom.

As expected of Daisy, she came and delivered some messages to me concerning Damon and his new armies. She said his newly turned armies can't go out in the sun, and they all can turn anything mundane into vamp. If not for the sun problem with them, I'm sure they would have been roaming around everywhere, converting the mundane.

I have to act fast with my plan. I asked her if he'd been restless about the daring blonde. She said he's not really bothered by her absence due to the fact that he never even suggested a plan to rescue her.

When she was done delivering the messages, I told her about how Damon has used the girl since childhood and asked her to go take a look at her and see if there's really something off about her.

This blonde girl has been making me go gaga ever since I set my eyes on her. The funniest thing is that I haven't figured out who she really is, which isn't normal for me.

Now that Daisy's around, maybe she can figure things out for me before she leaves for Damon's Clan. I wonder why she refused to take over her father's position as his one and only successor alive. Instead, she chose to work for me.

She's been my friend since childhood, and I'm just a few years older than her. But when it comes to power and abilities, of course I'm always at the top. My ancestors were the first vampires to emerge, and that led to the inheritance of great genetic power and abilities through blood.

I deliberately got into the blonde's head while she was with Daisy. Judging from what was on her mind, I guess Daisy wanted to make her a friend. I arched my brow at the thought of that. Like, why the hell does she have to make her a friend? I thought in my head.

She seemed scared of her at first, but, surprising enough, they really became friends. I got to know her name through their conversation. Her father's name didn't sound familiar to my ears. I wonder who her father was.

I didn't like everything she talked about with Daisy. How I wish I had gotten into Daisy's head and figured out the comments she gave when the daring blonde asked if she feared me.

This blonde girl is beginning to get on my nerves. How dare she talk about me and still laugh after! I really need to let her know her place, and I'm starting tonight. I said to myself, smirking.

I was still smirking at my thoughts when I heard her sit on the sofa in my room. She sure knows when to show up, huh? I said to myself, and I got to her in a flash.

"You really must have been awaiting my arrival, My Lord." She said this to me and winked. I didn't give her a reaction. I moved to my bar, took a bottle of tequila, and poured myself a drink.

When I was done, I finally moved to my smoking spot and lit my blunt. I could feel her gazing at me throughout the process.

"Now you can tell me what you noticed about her." I said to her, taking a shot from my blunt.

"Only if you share that with me." She pointed to the blunt in my hand.

I furrowed my brows toward her and offered her the tequila with me. She shrugged and reluctantly collected it.

"You don't want me to smoke while you do, huh?" She asked, pouting.

"Will you start now, Daisy?" I snapped, getting anxious with her delayed response.

"Oh! I see," she mumbled sarcastically, furrowing her eyebrows at me.

Now she's making me uncomfortable; she acts that way whenever she notices there's something off about me.

"I'm all good; you can now tell me what you noticed about her." I quickly said this to her in a very calm tone before she started to question me.

"You win!" She said, raising her two hands in the air in an "I surrender way" . Then she began. Well, I haven't really found out about her parents, but I actually doubt her father was a vamp. The name Salvador didn't sound familiar to my ears. She said.

"I know that; maybe that's not her real surname. I suggested. So is that all you guys talked about? I asked, furrowing my brow at her.

"Well, we talked about me and Y-O-U," she replied, spelling "you" instead of pronouncing it.

"What the hell did she say about me?" I asked anxiously.

"She's now my friend; please address her properly whenever you're discussing her issues with me; her name is Tracy!" She nagged.

"Do I look like I care?" I snapped back.

She could feel the anger in my voice. Then she replied, saying that she was the one who brought me up in her discussion with the blonde and that she didn't mean to disrespect me.

"What did you give her as a reply when she asked if you feared me?" I asked her in a somewhat calm voice.

"I told her I do, but not like her," she replied.

"You should have said you don't, so I'd see the need to punish her more," I said to her, smirking.

"You don't have to be really hard on her, Jayden; you know she's just a mere human girl," she sympathized.

"You don't tell me what to do when it comes to her, Daisy." I said while taking a shot from my blunt and collected the drink from her when I saw she didn't even take a sip.

"I'll be leaving now," she said, rising up.

"Take care, pain in my ass!" I said to her:

"I'm sure it's now Tracy," she said, winking, and immediately vanished.

"Can this baby vamp ever get mature?" I said to myself, asking no one in particular.

"I heard that," she said, appearing back out of nowhere.

"What's the matter with you again?" I asked her.

"Nah, it's been your problem all along," she corrected, smirking.

"What do you want, baby vamp?" I asked her, ignoring what she said.

"You're just 10 years older, dude," she nagged again and proceeded: "Well, I and Jimmy need to spend some time together before I take my leave."

"To hell with you guys' fucking!" I replied to her, snapping.

"Don't be jealous," she said, then vanished.

It's not like they are mates or something. These two ba

by vamps must be really crazy. I thought to myself while shaking my head in disappointment.
