Meeting after a long time

The elders were all happily playing with their grandkids, but the girls were very nervous as their husbands had not come.

Seeing the tensed girls Jonathan sighed and got up to call Edward.

Edward: Hello dad

Jonathan: where are you? Aren't you supposed to join us for the dinner?

Edward: why do you want me to join your friend's dinner?

Jonathan: just do what you are asked to do

Edward: hearing his dads stern voice, Edward gradually compromised and said I will be there in half an hour.

Jonathan grunted and hung up the call, then he turned to Vivian and said he is busy with work he will be here in half an hour.

Vivian: thanks dad, she was feeling blessed to have such in-laws.

Likewise, all the elders called their sons to know when they will be here and. asked them to be here by half an hour.

The girls started to relax and started preparing for dinner, just as they finished everything they heard the sounds of the engine.
