Chapter 309: The Capture Begins
On the police car.
Since Old Mr. Rayson had long retired, he couldn't follow the operation unless he was specifically re-employed, so he had to stay at the police station with Penn Rayson and wait for everyone to return.
Aside from Caroline Edwin and Blake Fuller, there were two other young and energetic police officers in the car.
The magic owl flew ahead, and Max Rayson followed closely in the car. The other two officers didn't understand the significance and didn't think too much about it.
Officer Leopold, who was sitting in the back seat, noticed the magic owl and jokingly said, "You see, the bird's path is always the same as ours, what a coincidence."
Another officer chimed in, "Yeah, quite a coincidence."
Seeing that they didn't think it was anything supernatural, Max Rayson breathed a sigh of relief.
He gripped the steering wheel, drove the police car with the siren on, and no one on the road dared to obstruct or interfere with the police carrying out their duties.
