A good night's sleep lasted until daylight.
Caroline Edwin woke up alone in bed, the spot beside her still warm.
She threw back the covers and got out of bed, raising her hand to rub her bleary eyes, her head still somewhat groggy.
Recalling the dream from last night, she frowned slightly, "Master, huh..."
For some reason, every time she dreamt about the Master, she couldn't make out his face, yet he felt incredibly familiar; she wasn't afraid but instead felt a trace of dependency.
She shook her head in an effort to clear it, recollecting her thoughts before stepping into her slippers and walking into the bathroom to wash her face with hot water. After freshening up, she changed into a new set of clothes.
Once ready, she stepped outside. It was Christmas Day and the students had gathered on the playground outside, playing with each other tirelessly.
Caroline's gaze flickered, noticing a tall figure walking towards her.
"Coach Edwin, Haywood is calling for a meeting."
