Boruto the Akatsuki: In Search of Power 14

In the previous chapter, Boruto had disappeared in a smokescreen, leaving behind a clone who was now lying in a hospital, recovering. Meanwhile, the real Boruto had been transported to a completely different place, a world that seemed straight out of a nightmare.

"What the…?" Boruto muttered, feeling the scorching heat instantly engulf him. Sweat began to trickle down his forehead as he examined his surroundings. A vast landscape of lava stretched as far as the eye could see, the hardened volcanic rock beneath his feet mixed with pools of bubbling magma that glowed with an orange and red glow. The air vibrated with the intensity of the heat, distorting shapes in the distance as nearby mountains spewed rivers of liquid lava that poured down their slopes in incandescent torrents.

The sky, dyed a dark crimson hue, was covered by a thick cloud of ash that swirled in slow spirals, creating a suffocating and oppressive atmosphere. The smell of sulfur and ash filled his lungs, forcing him to breathe with difficulty.

—This place... —Boruto spat on the ground, irritated—, is a fucking oven. Where the hell did they bring me?

Despite the harsh environment, his cold, calculating mind quickly analyzed the situation. This was no simple battlefield or ordinary training ground. It was a world where lava could erupt from the ground at any moment, and the heat was so intense that it seemed to burn the very air.

"I could leave now," he murmured, noticing the connection to his Hiraishin still intact, "but… there's something about this place that tells me to stay."

With a grimace, he removed his jacket, leaving only his white shirt, soaked with sweat. As he made his way through the treacherous terrain, his blue eyes cautiously examined every corner, searching for any clue as to why he had been transported here.

Massive columns of volcanic rock rose on the horizon, some breaking apart and falling to the ground in explosions of sparks and fire. Rivers of lava flowed with terrifying slowness, but Boruto was not intimidated. A cold, calculating smile spread across his face.

"This place is a fucking hell, but…" he paused, feeling his heart racing with excitement, "it's also a challenge I must overcome. I wonder what kind of beast could possibly live here."

Every step he took brought him closer to his goal, though he still didn't fully understand it. There was something in this world that had drawn him, an unknown force that he was determined to discover.

"This place is dangerous," he whispered to himself, "but that only makes it more interesting."

Boruto continued walking, not knowing where his steps would take him. But one thing was certain: this hell of lava and fire would not intimidate him. If he had been brought here, it was for a reason, and Boruto Uzumaki was determined to find out.

Boruto kept walking without stopping.

Boruto stood on top of the hill, looking out at the vast hellish landscape spread out before him. Despite the exhaustion from the stifling heat and the sweat dripping down his face, his mind was still working at full speed. "There's nothing in this place either," he thought in frustration, as he turned around to look for a new path.

After hours of walking, each step echoing in the volcanic terrain, Boruto came upon a river of lava that snaked through the landscape. The orange and red glow illuminated his serious expression as he examined his surroundings. "Not here either," he muttered to himself, beginning to lose patience. There was no trace of what had drawn him to this place, and all he saw was an endless expanse of lava and rocks.

Finally, Boruto reached a rock that offered him a panoramic view of the area. From there, he could see the desolate and chaotic terrain in its entirety. "What is it with this place?" he wondered, wiping the sweat from his forehead with the back of his hand. "No matter where I look, everything is the same… just lava and rocks. Why did I appear here?"

Just as he was about to give up and use the Hiraishin to head back, something caught his eye in the distance. A massive cave rose up among the mountains of lava, its entrance dark like a monster's mouth. Boruto narrowed his eyes in surprise. "That's it… there must be something big in there," he thought, his heart racing with a mix of excitement and wariness.

Wasting no time, Boruto began to quickly descend the hill, leaping between the rocks with agility. As he got closer, the cave grew more and more imposing, with an entrance that seemed to reach about 35 meters in height. "This height reminds me of the Summoning Toads... They were capable of measuring more than 30 meters," Boruto muttered, trying to estimate the size of the creature that could inhabit such an immense place. "If the beast in this place is this big, it could be a problem if it's aggressive."

The excitement of facing such a formidable challenge began to grow within him, although he also knew that he had to be prepared for any eventuality. He paused for a moment in front of the entrance, which seemed like a dark abyss that absorbed all the light around it. The contrast between the darkness of the cave and the fiery glow outside was overwhelming.

Boruto took a deep breath, feeling the hot air in his lungs, and cautiously advanced towards the cave. As his footsteps echoed inside, his mind worked on possible strategies. "If this is what I think it is, it could be a unique opportunity. But if I'm wrong… Well, I can always escape using the Hiraishin."

As he went deeper into the cave, the atmosphere changed drastically. The constant roar of the magma was left behind, replaced by an eerie silence that was only broken by the echo of his own footsteps. The air was much cooler here, although it was pitch black. Boruto made a hand sign and said, "Katon: Hoin no Jutsu." A fireball was placed in his hand, illuminating the place and revealing its secrets little by little.

The walls were covered in a strange rock that Boruto couldn't recognize, as if it had been in this place for centuries. "This is interesting," Boruto muttered as he ran his hand over the rock, trying to decipher its meaning. "This rock isn't just decorative; something placed it in this spot... I wonder what it was."

Boruto moved forward cautiously, scanning every corner of the cave. "This place could be an ancient shelter left behind by something," he thought. "Or perhaps the lair of some legendary beast. But why would it draw me here?"

Suddenly, Boruto felt a presence. Something large and powerful was nearby. The atmosphere grew thicker, as if the air itself was charged with energy. He stopped dead in his tracks, sharpening his senses, prepared for whatever was waiting in the darkness. Excitement and anticipation made his heart pound, but his mind remained cold and calculating.

"Let's see what you have to offer, beast," Boruto muttered with a mix of boldness and caution as he took another step into the unknown. He knew that what he was about to face could be one of the greatest tests of his life, and he wasn't about to back down.

With each step, the darkness grew thicker and the silence more oppressive. Finally, Boruto reached what seemed to be the back of the cave, but to his surprise, he saw nothing. The place was empty. Confused, he stopped his advance and sharpened his senses. His sensor ability had made him feel a powerful presence, but now, everything was calm. "What's going on?" he wondered silently, feeling like something wasn't right.

Suddenly, his senses were sharply activated, a warning signal that made him turn around quickly. There, in front of him, a huge eye was watching him from the shadows. Boruto opened his eyes in astonishment, his heart beating at full speed as he quickly pulled out a three-pronged kunai, preparing for combat.

—Shit! What is that? —he exclaimed, feeling the adrenaline rush through his body—. I should have activated my Doujutsu when I entered this place... Damn! But it doesn't matter now.

Wasting no more time, Boruto channeled chakra into his right eye. His sclera changed to a deep black color, while his iris and pupil transformed into a glowing blueish white. He could now clearly see the figure before him. It was a large being, and as he looked at it, Boruto noticed an amused expression on its face, as if it were simply observing its prey.

—It can't be... —Boruto thought as his eyes widened, trying to process what he was seeing—. It's a damn crow! But how...?

The raven looked at him from the side, lying on the ground, while its yellow and red eye with a black pupil shone in the dim light. Then, the creature spoke, its voice deep and resonant.

"What is it, human?" the raven asked, his tone filled with curiosity.

Boruto, shocked by the creature's ability to speak, couldn't help but express his disbelief.

"Can you talk?" he asked, unable to hide his surprise.

The crow looked at him seriously, as if Boruto's words were obvious.

"Of course I can talk. What did you expect?" the creature replied, unfazed by Boruto's attitude.

In Boruto's mind, questions were quickly piling up. "This beast is strange," he thought, cautiously observing the raven's chakra network. "It's like it has no weak points... How can that be?"

The raven brought him out of his thoughts abruptly, with a firm voice that echoed through the cave.

"What do you want here?" the creature asked. "Why did you come?"

Boruto, without letting his guard down, responded with a firm voice, although without the same defiant tone.

"I came to get a summoned beast," he said bluntly.

The raven looked at him without much interest, as if the answer was not what he expected.

"Summoned beast?... You humans are always so strange," the creature said, its tone denoting a certain indifference.

Boruto relaxed his fighting stance slightly, though he didn't let his guard down. The fireball continued to glow in his hand, illuminating the cave as he watched the crow closely.

"You seem to know a lot of humans," Boruto commented, trying to get more information.

The raven looked at him and, in a serious tone, replied:

—I don't know them. You're the first human I've seen face to face.

"I see, someone told you about us," Boruto said, trying to find some clue in the crow's expression. "There's something I want to know… What's your name?"

The raven watched him without much interest, but responded with some disdain.

"My name? Why do you think I would tell you that?" the creature asked, as if Boruto's request was absurd.

Boruto smiled slightly and, with a calm movement, put on his jacket, which until then he had held in his arms.

"My name is Boruto," he said, in a friendly tone, although his mind was still alert.

The raven stared at him, as if assessing him.

"Is that your name...? Mmm , my name is Karasugan," the crow replied in a deep voice.

Boruto was surprised and muttered to himself:

—Karasugan... —he repeated, processing the name—. Karasu means crow and gan means eye... What a peculiar name.

As Boruto pondered, Karasugan watched him with a neutral expression. The young shinobi snapped out of his thoughts and spoke again.

"So, do you want to be my summoned beast?" Boruto asked seriously.

Karasugan looked at him with a mix of exasperation and curiosity.

"Are you still on about the 'summoned beast'? What is that?" the raven asked, showing his lack of knowledge of the term.

Boruto stood there thinking, realizing that explaining the concept might be tricky. "If I tell him, he might get angry... but since I'm here, I can't miss the chance to get this beast," Boruto thought. He shoved his hands into his pockets, preparing to explain the situation.

"A summoned beast is…" Boruto began, carefully measuring his words. "It is a being with whom a shinobi forms a pact, a special bond. This pact allows the shinobi to call upon you at any time and place, using a special jutsu. In other words, you would be my ally, and I could summon you whenever I needed your help in combat or in crucial situations."

Karasugan looked at him with his piercing eyes, evaluating Boruto's explanation. The crow remained silent for a moment, as if processing the information.

"A pact? And how does that work?" Karasugan asked, his tone a mix of curiosity and skepticism.

"It works with a blood contract," Boruto replied seriously. "We would both sign a special scroll, and that would establish the bond between us. From then on, whenever I needed your help, I would just have to perform the summoning jutsu and you would appear."

Karasugan tilted his head in thought.

"So, you're asking me to become your tool, human?" he said in a sharp tone.

Boruto shook his head.

"It's not like that," he replied, keeping his cool. "I don't see you as a tool. You would be my ally, someone with whom I would share my goals. It's not just about combat, but about mutual trust. I would call upon you when I truly needed your power, and in return, I would respect you as my partner."

The crow watched Boruto for a long moment, as if searching for any sign of deception in his words. Finally, he spoke in a more moderate tone.

"Your proposal is… interesting," Karasugan admitted. "But tell me, Boruto, why should I trust you? What makes you different from other humans who might have tried the same thing?"

Boruto smiled slightly, knowing that this was the opportunity to prove his conviction.

"Because I am not like other humans," he replied firmly. "I have been through a lot, I have seen the darkness in the world, and I know what it means to fight alone. I do not seek power for the sake of having it. What I want is to create something greater, something that transcends our differences. If you accept this pact, I will treat you as an equal, and together we can achieve things that no one else could imagine."

Karasugan watched him silently, assessing the sincerity in Boruto's eyes. Finally, the raven spoke with a determined tone.

"Boruto, do you want me to become your ally? Is that true?" Karasugan asked, his voice echoing in the cave with an inquisitive tone.

"That's right, I want you to become my ally," Boruto replied firmly, without taking his eyes off the raven's intense eyes.

Karasugan, who had been lying on the ground, slowly raised his body, turning his head to face Boruto.

Boruto opened his eyes and was shocked, seeing Karasugan's third eye. "So that's why you're called Karasugan," he thought, shocked. "I couldn't see the third eye because you were on your side, but now that I see it... This crow makes me wonder how strong it is?"

Karasugan's three eyes, radiating a strange energy, stared at Boruto, sizing him up. After a moment of silence, the crow spoke in a deep voice.

"What makes you worthy of being my partner, Boruto?" Karasugan asked, his words echoing in the cave. "First, show me what you're capable of."

As Karasugan began to rise, the entire cave trembled with his movement. Boruto opened his eyes in surprise, feeling the increasing pressure in the air.

"Looks like I'll have to test how strong this crow is," Boruto thought, his expression changing from surprise to excitement. A mischievous and amused smile spread across his face as he shouted loudly.

—Go ahead, Karasugan! Show me what you got!

Karasugan, with a defiant look, replied:

—If you are strong enough, I will accept you as my partner. I hope you are worthy.

With a mighty croak, croooaaak !, Karasugan spread its massive wings, emitting a deafening roar that echoed throughout the cave. The sound was followed by an explosion, BOOM!, and the cave was completely destroyed.

Boruto was thrown into the air, screaming as he tried to stabilize himself.

" Aaaaaah !" he exclaimed, struggling to regain control amidst the chaos. Eventually, he managed to land on a rock that had been blown away by Karasugan's force, but just then, Karasugan flew into the sky, passing Boruto by with tremendous speed and strength.

The violent wind left in its wake forced Boruto to cover his face with his forearms to protect himself. The crow's strength was impressive, and Boruto knew he was about to face a fight like no other.

"This is going to be an interesting fight," Boruto thought, with a mix of excitement and determination. He knew he would have to give it his all to earn Karasugan's respect and loyalty.

Boruto quickly raised his head and saw Karasugan in the sky, its massive wings spread out and stretching several meters from tip to tip. The immensity of the creature was astonishing, and the power radiating from above made Boruto clench his teeth in a mix of excitement and tension.

Karasugan saw Boruto standing on the rock, which was falling at full speed, and without wasting a second, he dived towards him with terrifying speed.

Boruto reacted instantly, throwing his kunai towards Karasugan and quickly performing a series of hand seals.

—Hiraishin: Eikyo Fuin! —Boruto shouted, activating the technique.

The kunai multiplied in the air, creating a swarm of flying knives that headed at high speed towards Karasugan. However, to Boruto's surprise, the kunai bounced harmlessly off the crow's feathers, as if they were colliding with impenetrable armor.

"Is that all, Boruto?" Karasugan taunted, increasing his speed even further as he descended.

Boruto watched in amazement and frustration as Karasugan pierced the rock he was standing on, shattering it with a deafening boom, BOOM! The powerful bird had attacked him with the intent of killing him, but Boruto managed to disappear in a yellow flash, reappearing in mid-air near another kunai he had thrown.

"His feathers are a real pain... They're too hard," Boruto thought as he fell to the ground. "Plus, that speed and strength are incredible. If I didn't have this eye, it would be nearly impossible to keep up with him."

As Boruto continued to fall, Karasugan, without wasting any time, stopped swooping down and spread its wings, quickly turning to fly towards Boruto once more. This time, the crow launched its claws with the intent of catching him, but Boruto disappeared again in a yellow flash, appearing somewhere else where a kunai was falling.

Karasugan, surprised by Boruto's ability, thought, "So he can teleport... That's impressive. But I wonder what else he'll be able to do."

Boruto finally landed on his feet on the ground, the falling rocks around him kicking up a cloud of dust. Karasugan rose into the air, watching Boruto with a mix of curiosity and admiration.

"This human is interesting," thought the giant raven as he circled in the sky, like a predator stalking its prey.

Within the cloud of dust, Boruto assessed the situation. "I can't get through those feathers; I'm not strong enough... The only part that's uncovered is its head and eyes. I'll have to prepare a strategy to attack that area. That'll be plan A. Plan B... I'll need to think a little more. This fight will be long, and my lack of experience might show. I have to be careful."

A smile spread across Boruto's face as he slammed his fist into his palm, determined to find a way to defeat Karasugan. "I'll defeat him and make him my partner," he muttered determinedly.

When the dust cloud finally cleared, Boruto looked up at the dark sky, covered in ash from the volcanoes. Karasugan was still flying in circles, watching him like a scavenger waiting for its chance.

—It's time to fight, Karasugan! —Boruto shouted, as small white rays began to spark from his right eye, revealing his excitement for the fight.

Karasugan, who continued to spin in the air, moved its beak slightly, almost as if it were smiling, and spoke in its deep, resonant voice.

"I hope so, human," Karasugan replied, preparing for the confrontation that was about to begin.

Boruto formed a seal with his hands and shouted, "Kage Bunshin no Jutsu!" In an instant, four clones appeared in a smokescreen, all with their Doujutsu activated, ready for combat. Karasugan, who was still watching from the sky, didn't miss a single detail of Boruto's movements.

Boruto took the opportunity and jumped over the clones as they quickly performed a series of hand seals. With a defiant smile, Boruto shouted, "Boruto Stream!" A powerful wind was generated in the clones' hands, which forcefully propelled Boruto into the sky.

Karasugan, watching Boruto ascend, let out a croak that echoed through the air. "Are you challenging me, human?" he said, swooping in for a direct confrontation.

The air vibrated with the energy of both fighters as they approached each other at high speed. Just as they were about to collide, Boruto made another hand seal and two additional clones appeared in a smokescreen. These clones grabbed onto Boruto, allowing him to dodge Karasugan at the last second, and Boruto took advantage by clinging onto the feathers on the giant crow's back.

"What do you think you're doing?!" Karasugan roared, irritated by Boruto's audacity. He began to spin violently in the air, trying to shake the young ninja off his back.

Boruto, however, was enjoying the challenge. He stood on Karasugan's back, opening his arms to feel the fierce wind passing around him. A laugh of excitement spilled from his lips as he stood his ground, taking the opportunity to assess his opponent closely.

"This is amazing!" Boruto shouted with a mix of excitement and adrenaline.

Wasting no time, Boruto quickly performed several hand positions, focusing his chakra on the attack. He looked at one of Karasugan's wings and shouted— Katon: Endan no Jutsu!

A large fireball emerged from Boruto's mouth, heading straight for Karasugan's wing. The crow let out a squawk of pain as the fire engulfed its wing, causing it to lose control of its flight. Karasugan began to spiral downwards, unable to stabilize itself, and in its fall, it violently crashed into a mountain, destroying it with a deafening roar.

—BOOM! —The impact echoed throughout the valley, raising a huge cloud of dust and debris.

Boruto reappeared elsewhere with a yellow flash, watching with a mix of pride and surprise at the devastation he had caused.

—Hahahaha ! That was amazing! —Boruto exclaimed , still feeling the adrenaline rush through his body as he watched the cloud of dust rise.

Karasugan, however, was not finished. The massive silhouette of the raven began to emerge from the cloud of dust, its eyes filled with fury and determination. Despite its injuries, Karasugan was not about to give up.

"Impressive... but it's not enough to defeat me," Karasugan said in his resonant voice, as he spread his wings once more, although visibly affected by the attack.

Boruto, seeing that Karasugan was still standing, clenched his fists in determination. He knew that this fight was far from over and that he would have to give everything he had to make Karasugan accept him as their partner.

Boruto watched as Karasugan rose into the sky again, spinning with impressive speed. Suddenly, the crow spread its massive wings and, with a powerful flap, sent a cutting wind towards Boruto. Without wasting a second, Boruto disappeared in a yellow flash, reappearing somewhere else just in time to dodge the attack.

The place where Boruto had been moments before was devastated, with rocks and mountains cut cleanly by Karasugan's attack, causing a deafening roar — BOOM!

Boruto, from his new position, looked at the damage done and thought, "That was incredibly powerful. If that attack had hit me, I probably wouldn't be here right now." He looked up at the sky, where Karasugan was still flying. "My fireball probably didn't do much damage to it," he mused, acknowledging the giant bird's resilience.

Meanwhile, in Karasugan's mind, the wheels were spinning rapidly. "That teleportation ability is amazing… He can dodge my attacks with little effort. This is troublesome. I need an area attack that will force him to reveal himself."

Boruto knew he was at a disadvantage. "Karasugan has many hidden abilities... It will be difficult. I must bring him down to the ground; that will be my only chance." With that thought in mind, Boruto began to run at full speed in a single direction, jumping between the rocks.

Karasugan, seeing this, released another cutting wind with the flap of its wings. But Boruto, with a flash of his ability, disappeared just before the attack hit, and again the deafening sound of destruction resounded — BOOM!

Boruto reappeared in another position, but this time Karasugan was already upon him, launching its claws with the intention of finishing him off. Boruto, with his Doujutsu activated, saw the attack coming and again disappeared in a flash, leaving Karasugan's claws to pierce the ground with a deafening roar — BOOM! — raising a cloud of dust.

Appearing in another location, Boruto breathed heavily and thought, "Damn, that was close. How was he able to follow me so fast?" From the cloud of dust, Karasugan looked at Boruto and, without wasting any time, opened its beak, launching a ball of lava towards him with great speed.

Boruto barely had time to open his eyes in surprise before he disappeared in another flash of yellow. The lava ball slammed into a mountain, melting it instantly. Boruto watched seriously, turning his gaze back to Karasugan.

"I will definitely summon you," Boruto said, determined.

Karasugan, with a throaty laugh, replied, "You say that, but you just keep running away. Cowardly human."

With a determined expression, Boruto made a hand stance and shouted, "Kage Bunshin no Jutsu!" Twenty clones appeared around him in a cloud of smoke, and they all ran at high speed towards Karasugan.

Karasugan flapped its wings vigorously, sending a devastating wind towards Boruto's clones. However, before the wind could reach them, the clones disappeared in flashes of light, and the roar of destruction rang out again — BOOM!

At that moment, Boruto's clones reappeared around Karasugan. A thought arose in the crow's mind—So I fell into their trap... Alright, show me what you're capable of.

Boruto's clones quickly made hand seals and shouted in unison, "Restriction Seal!" They placed their hands on the ground and seals began to appear around Karasugan, trapping it in place.

"What is this?" Karasugan exclaimed, trying to move, but without success. "What is going on?"

Boruto appeared in a flash right in front of Karasugan and, with a confident smile, said, "It seems you fell right into my trap. You thought that by knowing what I was planning, you could escape."

Karasugan glared at him with suppressed fury and asked, "What will you do now, human?"

"I'll show you," Boruto replied, extending his hand forward. "Rasengan!"

A light blue spinning ball appeared in Boruto's hand. As he spun it, Boruto explained, "Where I come from, this technique is very well-known. It's called Rasengan and it's an S-rank jutsu."

Karasugan, still trapped, replied disdainfully, "And what good does knowing that do me, human?"

Boruto, ignoring the comment, continued, "This technique is amazing. Any kind of chakra can be added to it to make it even more powerful. I tried to copy my father's technique, called Rasen Shuriken, but my chakra is a problem. Still, I developed several variants of the Rasengan, although none of them were very encouraging. However, I heard of a person who had a devastating Rasengan… and when I saw it, I couldn't believe its destructive power. So I watched his Rasengan closely and copied it."

Karasugan, not quite understanding, asked, "Why are you telling me this?"

"The Rasengan is about spinning chakra at high speed and compressing it into the palm of your hand," Boruto continued, ignoring the question. "Each Rasengan user has a unique version, with different levels of rotation and chakra. My first Rasengan was small and weak, but it had a trick that I won't reveal to you. When I saw that person's Rasengan, I was shocked. His name was Konohamaru."

At that moment, the Rasengan in Boruto's hand increased in size, tripling its diameter. Boruto smiled. "With my eye, I copied the way he did the Rasengan and included it in my own style. The improvement was significant. A powerful Rasengan without requiring much chakra, just better rotation and focus."

Karasugan, though worried, maintained his composure. "You still can't defeat me, human."

"That remains to be seen," Boruto said, as he launched the Rasengan towards Karasugan with all his might.

Karasugan tried to move, but the seal kept him trapped. He watched as the Rasengan headed towards him, but just before it hit, the chakra sphere disappeared into thin air.

"It seems your technique is not complete," Karasugan commented with a smile.

Boruto smiled maliciously, and at that moment, Karasugan felt an overwhelming force on his chest, pushing him back with such force that he was lifted into the air. Intense pain ran through his body, making him spit out blood, while a deafening roar rang out— BOOM!

The restriction seal was broken, and Boruto's clones prepared to form another Rasengan. Boruto, looking at Karasugan with amusement, said, "I hope you survive, I don't want a dead summon."

Karasugan, feeling the pain in his body, thought, "This human… is more formidable than I thought."

The battle between Boruto and Karasugan was reaching a dangerous climax. Karasugan, wounded and furious, spread his wings and launched a powerful flap, sending gusts of cutting wind towards Boruto's clones. Despite the clones' speed and agility, one of the Rasengan managed to hit Karasugan, causing a deafening roar.

—BOOM !— The giant crow was knocked to the ground by the force of the attack, but before the other Rasengan could reach it, Karasugan spread its wings to protect itself. The impact of the Rasengan was so intense that it raised a huge cloud of dust, and Boruto watched cautiously, a smile of amusement curving his lips as he waited for the dust to clear.

When the cloud finally cleared, Boruto could see Karasugan still standing, though its wings, now covered in circular wounds, were visibly bleeding. "That wasn't enough," Boruto thought, his sharp eyes following the raven's every move. Suddenly Boruto took a hit to his ribs and flew off towards a nearby mountain,

—BOOM !— Boruto crashed into the rock with such force that the rumble echoed throughout the valley. Karasugan launched into the sky with a quick flap of his wings. Boruto's clones, surprised by the speed of the attack, had no time to react as Karasugan unfurled its wings again, unleashing a whirlwind of cutting wind that disintegrated the clones into clouds of smoke.

Slowly emerging from the shattered mountain, Boruto spat out a mouthful of blood. "That bastard… How did he manage to hit me? I didn't even see him coming," he muttered as he touched his aching ribs. The pain was sharp and deep. "Three broken ribs," Boruto quickly deduced, his sharp mind formulating an emergency plan. "Mystic Palm Jutsu," he whispered as azure-blue chakra enveloped his hand, beginning to heal his ribs.

Karasugan, furious and hurt, screamed in a voice filled with rage. "Damn human! How dare you harm me? You're dead!" Boruto laughed, his amusement evident. "Wasn't this a test to see if you were worthy?" The mockery in his voice was palpable.

Karasugan, in response, glowed with dark energy as his third eye flashed dangerously. "Now you will see my full power." With a simple thought, Karasugan began to lift huge rocks from the ground with his telekinesis, launching them towards Boruto at high speed.

Boruto, still healing, barely had time to react. He disappeared in a flash of yellow just as the rocks impacted where he stood, creating craters in the ground. But Karasugan's third eye was following him closely, and the rocks continued to pursue him relentlessly, forcing him to constantly teleport to avoid being crushed.

"Damn, he's not giving me any respite," Boruto thought as he leapt from place to place with the Hiraishin, rocks crashing around him with deafening booms. —BOOM! BOOM!— Each impact shook the ground.

—So it's his third eye... it was a rock he controlled that hit me... damn it— Boruto gritted his teeth. "That damn eye is what allows him to follow me. This is harder than I thought," he thought as he dodged the rocks Karasugan controlled. Despite his injuries, Boruto refused to take off the weights and gravity seals he had worn for six years. His pride wouldn't let him get rid of them. "My pride won't let me give up. I've had them for six years, I'm not taking them off now."

Boruto considered increasing the speed of his Hiraishin or using the Kaminari no Isshin in combination with the Hiraishin, but he knew it would be of no use if he couldn't hit Karasugan. As he teleported back and forth, Boruto felt like time was running out. He needed to find a solution before his body gave in to exhaustion.

Karasugan, meanwhile, watched him with growing frustration. "That human brat... although I can predict where he'll move, he's incredibly fast. If only I could keep up with him..." he thought as his attacks intensified.

Finally, Boruto felt that his ribs had healed enough. Removing his hand from his ribs, he prepared for the next move. "It's now or never," he thought determinedly. "If I'm going to take him down, I need to take a risk."

As Karasugan continued to control the rocks with its third eye, launching them with devastating force, Boruto quickly moved from point to point, disappearing and reappearing in flashes of yellow light. Each time he reappeared, he barely had time to catch his breath before another rock forced him to move again. "This eye is a problem," Boruto muttered under his breath, dodging another rock that passed dangerously close to his head.

Karasugan, meanwhile, watched with increasing fury as Boruto avoided his attacks again and again. "Damn human! How much longer do you plan to run?" the crow screamed, frustrated by Boruto's resistance. "You will not escape me!" With a powerful flap of wings, Karasugan unleashed a new wave of cutting wind, attempting to cut off Boruto's path and force him into direct combat.

Boruto, seeing the wind coming towards him, teleported to another location, but this time with a plan in mind. "If I keep dodging, I'll never beat him," he thought as he appeared behind a rock formation. He knew he needed to get close to Karasugan to have a real chance. He watched his opponent's movements, looking for the pattern in which he launched the attacks, and noticed that the crow paused for a brief moment every time he fully extended his wings.

"This is the moment," Boruto said to himself, his eyes flashing with a mix of excitement and danger. He quickly pulled out a kunai and launched it towards Karasugan. The crow immediately noticed him and unleashed a powerful cutting wind to deflect the weapon, sending the kunai flying above him. The wind headed straight for Boruto, but before it was hit, Boruto disappeared in a flash. This time, instead of moving away, he reappeared right above Karasugan, grabbing the kunai with his left hand, using the momentum of the wind to increase his speed on the descent.

"Not this time, brat!" Karasugan shouted as he realized Boruto's trick. However, it was too late. Boruto was already upon him, and with a battle cry, he launched a Rasengan straight towards Karasugan's back.

The Rasengan hit, but the crow, in a last-ditch effort, spun in midair, preventing the blow from being completely devastating. Still, the impact was enough to send Karasugan plummeting towards the ground, crashing with a deafening boom!

Boruto landed some distance away, breathing heavily as he watched the cloud of dust begin to settle. He knew the fight was far from over. Karasugan, wounded and furious, was slowly getting up, shaking rocks and dust from his feathers. Despite the visible wounds, the crow showed no signs of giving up.

"Damn it," Boruto thought, seeing the determination in Karasugan's eyes. "If I want to survive this fight, I have to give it my all. There's no turning back." As the wind blew his hair up, Boruto prepared himself for the next round, knowing that the real challenge was about to begin.

Karasugan launched more rocks at Boruto, who began to run towards the crow, dodging the projectiles with his Hiraishin and nimbly jumping between them. The fury in Karasugan's eyes intensified. He spread his wings and quickly rose into the sky, leaving the battlefield behind as he ascended.

Boruto continued to dodge the rocks that were coming at him at full speed, each impact against the ground resonating with a powerful boom, BOOM! In his mind, Boruto cursed, "That bastard is too tough. Not even all my attacks have managed to damage him enough."

But an instant later, when he looked up at the sky, something surprised him. He quickly increased his speed, just as a rain of fireballs and lava began to fall. Karasugan's feathers and mouth spat flames that descended in a deadly torrent towards the earth. The noise of the explosions was deafening, BOOM!

Boruto frantically dodged the attacks, deflecting the ones that were about to reach him to other sides. "Damn! How can he do that?" Boruto thought while with Doujutsu still activated he sent his vision to the sky looking at the distance and observed Karasugan high up, spitting lava while its feathers released fireballs. "I can't reach him that high. I can only keep running. That bastard is hiding in the clouds."

Boruto looked up at the sky again, but he could barely make out Karasugan's silhouette amidst the rain of fire that was increasing in intensity. Each impact of the fireballs was capable of setting an entire mountain on fire. As Boruto ran, the fireballs chased after him, turning the battlefield into a burning hell.

"I have only one option left," Boruto thought, his mind rapidly calculating. At high speed, he formed a series of hand seals and shouted, "Suiton: Suishoha ! — Water Release: Water Wave Crash!" A massive whirlpool of water surrounded Boruto, absorbing the fireballs that crashed into it, growing ever larger until it exploded into a gigantic wave.

The battlefield, once in flames, was extinguished by the torrent of water. The waves crashed against the mountains, covering the entire area in a watery blanket. The rain of fire falling from the sky began to evaporate upon contact with the water, filling the air with steam. Boruto, submerged under the water to avoid the fire, panted from the effort. "This jutsu has consumed half of my chakra... This is a problem," he thought, feeling the exhaustion in his body.

However, he had no time to rest. Suddenly, a dark shadow moved beneath the water, and Boruto barely had time to react as a massive pillar of fire broke through the surface, ascending towards him with fury. He leapt out of the water just in time, but Karasugan was already upon him, launching a devastating attack with its claws wreathed in flames.

Boruto with the kunai in his hand threw it at Karasugan passing by him and Boruto used the Hiraishin once more, disappearing in a flash and reappearing right behind Karasugan. With a quick movement, he grabbed his kunai and threw it towards the crow. But Karasugan, with his third eye glowing, predicted the attack and deflected it with a flap of his wings.

The fight was relentless. Boruto knew his chakra was limited, but he also knew that Karasugan was not invincible. The blond smiled with a hint of malice, his eyes shining with determination. "Time to try something else," he muttered, as he prepared for the next round.

The sky continued to roar with the echoes of battle, and the battlefield became a scene of pure destruction. The forces were evenly balanced, and neither side seemed willing to give in.

Boruto quickly performed another sequence of hand seals and shouted, "Suiton: Sudanha ! — Water Release: Water Decapitating Wave." A powerful jet of water erupted from his mouth, shooting straight towards Karasugan.

The crow, reacting quickly, opened its beak and launched a torrent of lava that violently collided with Boruto's water. The impact of both elements created an explosion of steam that rose rapidly, enveloping the battlefield in a dense white fog.

Steam rose, and Boruto took advantage of the cover of fog to move stealthily. "I can't afford another direct confrontation," he thought, as his presence faded, disappearing into the mist. "This steam gives me the perfect cover to launch a surprise attack."

Karasugan, though unable to see Boruto clearly, was not helpless. With his third eye shining brightly, he attempted to track his enemy through the fog. But even with his perception ability, Boruto's movement was too fast and erratic to accurately predict.

Taking advantage of the confusion, Boruto threw a kunai into the air and shouted Hiraishin: Eikyo Fuin (Hiraishin: Area Seals) several kunai marked with the Hiraishin seal were sent in different directions, creating a teleportation field around Karasugan. In the blink of an eye, Boruto appeared and disappeared, attacking from different angles with flurries of kunai and small Rasengan, keeping Karasugan on the defensive.

Karasugan, frustrated at not being able to hit Boruto, let out a furious roar. His body began to radiate intense heat, and his wings emitted a reddish glow. Without warning, he released a wave of searing energy that vaporized some of the steam, clearing the area around him and forcing Boruto back.

Boruto was barely able to avoid the attack, teleporting to a safe distance. As he did so, he noticed that Karasugan's energy had affected the terrain, melting rocks and creating pools of liquid lava. "This is getting complicated," he muttered, feeling the fatigue building up in his muscles.

Karasugan, his vision clear now, set his eyes on Boruto. "You have nowhere to hide now, human," he squawked furiously. With a flap of his wings, Karasugan launched himself at Boruto, his body engulfed in flames, ready to finish him off in a single blow.

But Boruto, showing his determination, did not back down. In his mind, the tactics were lining up like pieces of a puzzle. He knew that the fight could not go on much longer. It was now or never.

Boruto, with his Doujutsu activated to the maximum, closed his eyes for a moment, concentrating deeply. The air around him began to vibrate with energy as he channeled his chakra for the next attack. "If this doesn't work," he thought seriously, "then I'll have to use everything I have."

Karasugan was approaching rapidly, its body engulfed in flames like a descending meteor. The heat it radiated was unbearable, melting the ground in its wake. But Boruto remained motionless, calmly assessing the situation.

The battle reached a critical point. Boruto opened his eyes, focusing all his attention on his opponent, as his right eye glowed brightly, releasing flashes of electrical energy. " Kaminari no Isshin ," Boruto muttered, "One with Lightning."

In that instant, his entire body was covered in lightning. His vision improved, and everything around him seemed to move in slow motion. "This is fun," he thought with a dark smile. "I've always wanted to fight at this level. But facing a giant crow that outsizes me by nearly thirty times… this is what makes me feel alive." Boruto looked down at his hand and began to focus his chakra. "Rasengan Inazuma," he whispered, and a Rasengan began to form in his palm, surrounded by crackling lightning.

The Rasengan continued to grow, reaching the size of a half-formed Odama Rasengan, spinning with dizzying speed, while electricity overflowed around it like a miniature storm. Boruto looked up and saw Karasugan slowly approaching, as if time itself had slowed down for him. 'I can't miss this opportunity,' he thought with determination.

In the blink of an eye, Boruto launched himself at Karasugan, increasing his speed to the maximum. The crow, aware of the threat, tried to react, but Boruto was already in front of him. In the next instant, both collided with tremendous force.

The energy unleashed upon impact was so intense that it generated a powerful shockwave. A deafening rumble echoed throughout the battlefield, followed by a dense cloud of dust that covered the area. BOOM! Boruto was sent flying by the force of the crash, bouncing off several rocks before violently crashing into a mountain, generating another deafening rumble. BOOM!

Karasugan, however, remained standing. It spread its wings and scattered the dust with a single flap, revealing a lava field that had melted the surrounding rock. Residual lightning sparked on the ground, but the raven simply smirked. "Did you really think you could beat me, human?" it roared in a deep voice. "I am one of the oldest beings in the world. You are strong, I admit, but it is not enough."

Boruto, his clothes tattered and his body in pain, emerged from the rubble of the mountain, staggering slightly. "Hahaha... I said I would do my summoning for you... I won't give up," he declared, his voice filled with stubborn determination.

Karasugan glared at him with eyes filled with fury and replied with disdain, "You are incredibly arrogant, human."

Boruto looked up at the sky, assessing the situation. "One last try…," he muttered to himself, looking down at Karasugan, as a line of blood dripped from his mouth. He brought his hand to his lips, watching the blood slide down his glove to the ground. "Damn… I'm at my limit," he thought, before shouting at the top of his lungs, "Come with everything you've got, Karasugan!"

Karasugan watched him seriously, preparing for the final showdown. They both knew that the next move would be decisive, and neither was willing to back down.

Karasugan shot into the sky, swooping down towards Boruto, its claws wreathed in flames ready to strike. Boruto, with determination in his eyes, quickly made several hand positions and shouted:

— Hiraishin: Shuzoku Gone! (Hiraishin: Companion Teleportation)

In the blink of an eye, Karasugan was teleported to another location. The crow slammed into a nearby mountain, creating a powerful boom. BOOM! The collision caused an explosion of debris and dust to rise, enveloping the area in a dense cloud.

Karasugan was shocked and looked around, spotting Boruto in the distance. Boruto was panting, exhausted from the intense fight. He thought to himself:

—I could have marked him... but I'm stupid. I should have done it when I was behind him. My lack of experience is hurting me.

Putting his thoughts aside, Boruto prepared to continue the fight. Karasugan, still stunned, looked at the blonde and, opening his beak, launched a jet of lava straight towards him at full speed. In a flash, Boruto disappeared, reappearing right above the crow's head. Karasugan, surprised, engulfed his body in flames, but Boruto vanished again, reappearing some distance away.

In his mind, Karasugan cursed:

—How is he able to move like that on me? Perhaps...

With its third eye, Karasugan detected marks on its beak, indications that Boruto had managed to mark it.

—So that's what's allowed me to move so agilely! That human has marked me! —Karasugan thought, enraged, remembering the previous clash between Boruto's Rasengan and his beak.

In a flashback, the Rasengan collided with Karasugan's spike, and the force of the attack pushed Boruto back, weakening the Rasengan. Karasugan took the opportunity to deliver a devastating blow with its spike. Boruto, at that critical moment, touched Karasugan's spike and marked it before the memory faded away.

Back in the present, Boruto, with an amused smile, said:

—It seems you realized, but it's too late now.

In a flash, Boruto appeared again above the crow's head. Karasugan, filled with rage, quickly ascended into the sky, while Boruto clung to its feathers. Karasugan thought:

—When Boruto teleports back to the ground, I'll rain fire down on this place. First, let's go up to the clouds.

As they ascended, Boruto noticed how the flames of Karasugan began to consume his feathers, slowly advancing towards his head. Karasugan reached the sky, and Boruto, from his position on the crow's head, threw a kunai upwards, beyond the clouds. With determination, he said:

—It's over, Karasugan.

Karasugan laughed bitterly and replied:

—Do you really think you can finish me off? Hahaha !

Boruto laughed too, but with a cold intensity:

—Hahaha. —He extended his hand and shouted—: Rasengan!

The flames were dangerously close to the Karasugan's head, threatening to burn Boruto. With a defiant grin, Boruto slammed the Rasengan into the crow's head. The explosion was immense, and both of them began to fall towards the ground.

Karasugan, furious, shouted:

-Damned!

As Boruto disappeared in a flash to avoid the impact, Karasugan thought:

—Damn... It took me too long to set my body on fire.

A few seconds later, Karasugan crashed into the ground with a mighty rumble. BOOM! The collision left a crater in the ground, and the earth shook from the impact. Karasugan slowly stood up, looking around in despair, wondering:

—Where is that human?

Karasugan raised his head to the sky and, with his third eye, sensed Boruto's presence up above. "That human... is up there , " he thought with a mix of bewilderment and fury. "What the hell is he planning?"

Boruto had reappeared in a flash of yellow, right where he had thrown the kunai. He was floating above the clouds, feeling the warmth of the sun on his face. With a quick gesture, he covered his eyes with his hand, shielding himself from the sun's rays. He turned his head to the side and gazed at the vast sea of clouds below him.

"This is… amazing," Boruto muttered, as he slowly descended, diving back into the clouds. His thoughts turned to the battle as he watched Karasugan from a distance, using his Doujutsu activated since the start of the fight. "What an immense chakra network…" he thought, his gaze piercing the giant crow's body. The vision returned to Boruto and touching his right eye with his hand, he silently pondered. "I wonder why I got this eye. I don't even know its name yet… I have too many questions, but I know the answers will come in time. I just need to get stronger… I'll do this attack with everything I have."

Lightning began to shoot out from his right eye, unleashing a storm in the sky already darkened by volcanic ash and heat. Rain began to fall heavily, soaking Boruto's clothes.

On the ground, Karasugan looked up at the sky, feeling the rain hitting his body and wondered, "What is going on? This is my domain… That brat is controlling the weather? How dare he? I am the king of this place… its ruler."

The third eye on Karasugan's forehead began to glow brightly, responding to Boruto's challenge. Volcanoes began to boil and erupt with renewed fury, as Boruto, from the sky, directed his lightning bolts at the clouds, charging them with devastating energy. The sound of thunder echoed loudly around him as he descended.

—So that's the chakra point...— Boruto smiled, noticing that Karasugan's third eye was the key. —It's time.

On the ground, Karasugan began to control the lava and volcanic rocks with his third eye, raising a shield of magma around himself. The lava rose and moved like raging rivers, while the rain tried unsuccessfully to quench it, creating a thick steam that rose into the clouds.

Boruto, from above, shouted loudly: —Raiun no Saika (Lightning of Catastrophe) !

Karasugan heard Boruto's scream and prepared to attack. Lightning bolts shot out from Boruto's eye, spreading across the clouds and converging on a single point above Karasugan. The crow raised its shield of lava and rock, but the lightning struck with devastating force, scattering lava and rock everywhere. The roar was deafening: BOOM!

Karasugan, surprised by the power of the attack, kept his guard up as the clouds continued to be charged with lightning. More lava and rocks joined his shield, but a rain of lightning began to fall mercilessly, each one with a more powerful boom than the last: BOOM!, BOOM!, BOOM! Boruto's destructive power was impressive, and Karasugan couldn't help but feel amazed and furious for having underestimated the human.

Boruto, slowly descending, couldn't contain his malicious laughter. " Hahahaha !" He laughed with his arms outstretched, while lightning continued to erupt from his right eye, charging the clouds and spreading across the sky. "What's wrong, Karasugan? Are you just hiding like a turtle?"

Karasugan, with seriousness and anger, looked up at the sky, his energy diminished, but his determination intact. "This human…" he thought, "I can't let him win."

Minutes later, the lightning stopped, and Karasugan's shield was shattered. The raven, exhausted from the expenditure of energy, looked up and saw Boruto, still among the clouds, with an amused smile on his face.

—It's not interesting that the roles have been reversed. I'm in heaven and you're on earth— Boruto shouted mockingly.

Karasugan, filled with fury, gathered more lava and rocks around him, preparing his most powerful attack. "Heaven is for those who deserve it," he replied with determination.

Boruto stopped laughing and looked at him seriously. He raised his hand, already shattered by the fight, and thought: —This will be the end. I can't believe this ends here. It's time to create a new technique.

Boruto decisively raised his hand to his face, his glove tattered from combat. Calling upon the power of Raiton, transparent white lightning began to form in his hand. He looked down at Karasugan, who was gathering lava and rock, compressing them into a sphere of extreme heat in front of its beak. Karasugan's wings unfurled, preparing to take flight into the sky.

Boruto looked up at his own hand, smirking as lightning gathered around him. "It's time to fuse these two techniques," he thought, raising his arm to the sky. His right eye was shooting out sparks of lightning, and the lightning from the clouds converged on his hand, destroying his sleeve up to the shoulder, but the glove remained intact. The lightning joined with Boruto's Raiton like tree roots. The sound was deafening.

—The name of this technique will be... Raiton: Tenrai no Hachi (Lightning of Heaven)— Boruto declared in a firm voice, as the sky filled with lightning connected to his arm, emanating an astonishing power. Boruto's eye continued to throw sparks as both combatants prepared for the final confrontation, the strongest they could unleash at that moment.

In Boruto's mind, he thought: With all this power, I could reach the level of a Kage, but if the Doujutsu was taken away from me, half of my power would be gone. But that doesn't matter now. It's time to stop thinking and focus on the battle.

In Karasugan's mind, he was thinking: That human… I didn't think he was that strong when I first saw him; he didn't look like much. But he's surprised me to this level. It's been a long time since I've fought like this… it feels incredible. Outside of his mind, the ball of lava and volcanic rock was complete, radiating an impressive heat, as if it were a small sun. The lava and rocks floated around Karasugan, moving like a current of wind, spreading everywhere.

In the sky, lightning bolts were concentrated like the roots of a tree, gathering at one point: Boruto's hand, emanating incredible power. Boruto, who was slowly descending, changed his stance and began to plummet, with the lightning bolts concentrated on his right hand.

Karasugan, realizing this, spread its wings and flew into the sky, with the compressed ball at the tip of its beak and the lava surrounding it in a dance of destruction. Heaven and earth prepared for an epic showdown.

The clash was devastating. Boruto and Karasugan met in midair, and the instant their attacks collided, a blinding flash lit up the sky. Boruto's hand, wreathed in lightning, collided with Karasugan's sphere of lava and volcanic rock. The impact created a massive explosion—BOOM!—releasing a shockwave that obliterated the clouds and surrounding landscape.

Lightning intertwined with the lava, crackling and sizzling as pure energy was unleashed in all directions. The sky filled with flashes and lightning, and the earth trembled under the pressure of the unleashed power. Both fighters gave their all in that instant, their strength overflowing in a battle of pure will.

Finally, with one last push, the energy from both attacks exploded BOOM!, creating a gigantic column of light that rose into the sky and extended to the ends of the earth. The roar was deafening,

A few minutes later, absolute silence reigned over the place, as if the battle had never happened. However, the scars of combat were unmistakable. The mountains surrounding the field were deeply damaged, their peaks torn and their slopes marked by the fierce exchange of power. A dense cloud of dust slowly rose, while the sky, now clear, showed a gap opened by the intensity of the fight. Through this gap, the rays of the sun filtered, bathing the battlefield in a golden light, revealing the devastation and impact of what had happened.

The silence was broken by the sound of heavy footsteps, accompanied by a constant dripping. At the other end, a hectic noise could be heard, and a powerful wind swept away the cloud of dust that covered the field. Karasugan, with a desperate flap of his wings, dispersed the dust. His body was visibly damaged; the feathers of his wings, torn and burned by the lightning, barely allowed him to stand. His body was covered in burn marks, testimony to the violent clash of powers.

Across the field, Boruto emerged from the mist. His shirt was in tatters, and his right arm showed deep burns that were bleeding profusely. Blood was also dripping from a wound on his head, running down his face. His entire body was bathed in blood, but his gaze remained firm, without a trace of fear.

"Human…" Karasugan said, a mix of surprise and fury in his voice. "I didn't think you were still alive. But you're about to die."

Boruto continued walking slowly, leaving a trail of blood in his path, not paying attention to the crow's words.

"I don't understand humans..." Karasugan continued, raising his voice, a mix of frustration and disbelief. "What motivates you? It doesn't make sense..."

Boruto reached a high position, where the sunlight illuminated him intensely. With a deep and firm voice, he spoke:

—I don't have a motivation. I just can't stop. No matter what. I'll keep walking, no matter the cost. If I have to destroy the world or create another one, I will. —With a slow but determined movement, Boruto closed his right hand into a fist and slammed it against his chest—. I will be the strongest being that has ever existed and will ever exist. That's why I will keep walking.

Even with his arm destroyed, Boruto put his hands together to form a seal. His right eye, which had never been deactivated throughout the entire battle, glowed brightly and sawed his eyes shut. In his mind, Boruto thought, "I don't have much more time left... I hope this works."

Karasugan, sensing impending danger, reacted instinctively. As if death itself was chasing him, he quickly retreated, his shattered wings barely supporting him. With his third eye, Karasugan formed a thick wall of rock in a desperate attempt to protect himself.

Boruto, still focused on his position, muttered:

—This is the end, Karasugan. What do you think? Am I worthy?

Opening only his right eye, Boruto shouted with all his might:

—Ryumetsu no Kiri! (Space Dragon Slash).

An invisible attack tore through the air, splitting the earth in two and piercing through Karasugan's rock shield with a deafening roar.

—BOOM! —The sound echoed throughout the field.

Karasugan, eyes wide, could barely take in what had happened. "It's... a cut..." he thought, his mind struggling to comprehend. The attack stopped just short of his face, but the cut had cut across the entire field, leaving a scar that split it in two.

"It's an invisible cut... I couldn't see it with my eyes. I only perceived it with my third eye... That attack... would have killed me," Karasugan thought, paralyzed by terror and disbelief.

For his part, Boruto watched in frustration as his attack failed to finish off the crow. With a whisper filled with rage, he said:

-Curse...

His right eye began to bleed, and, exhausted, the Doujutsu finally deactivated. Boruto closed his eye in pain, but forced himself to continue walking towards Karasugan, determined to continue the fight, although each step cost him enormous effort.

Karasugan watched, stunned, watching as this simple human, wounded and exhausted, walked forward with unwavering determination. Boruto continued walking, staggering, until finally, his strength abandoned him. With a final sigh, he fell face downwards.

The fight had come to an end.
