Gate way & The mission: explanation

Gateway

   Gateway is a portal made by space time ninjutsu. Once this Gate way is connected to someone (called source), it will explore their memories and create a new dimension. As we're all connected by chakra, this dimension will connect other's memories and make a world similar to ours. We can travel through the events of space and time in this world and our actions won't affect our timeline. The travelers can learn from the shinobis who are dead in our time.

   This process demand extreme amount of chakra. It can only be activated once. The travelers are limited by twenty. Each traveler can go to only six time periods. They can't go more than that. These are calculated from the amount of chakra that the gateway can hold on to. Unfortunately the selected time periods are random. Travelers can't know where they are going. If the traveler's body gets hurt in the created dimension, he would get hurt in real time. That means travelers can die there. So, if the traveler finds themselves in a dangerous time period, a war for example, don't die. If the travelers think that the mission is finished, they can return here by pressing the red button on their control pad. They can take all the time they want, but here in this place their travel is just for one minute. Gateway is a powerful device that can improve our knowledge but to me its soul purpose is to save the seventh. Then this device will have no use.

Mission

    I am sending 5 teams of shinobis inside a an unknown world. We have two missions. The first one is to find where the seventh hokage is. If you find yourself in the time period of his capture, your only mission is to find him and come back to let us know where he is. Second one is to find when and where Hinata and the sixth got their curse mark. You must follow Kakashi and Hinata in different time periods. Make sure not to die. I am saying that because you'll have to go through some tough period. You'll be sent there as a team. You are chosen with those you prefer to work with. It doesn't surprise me that most of these teams are your first team. Our friends from Suna who were here on vacation agreed to participate in this mission. Please stick together. You can reveal your identities. It won't affect our time. Those who gets to follow Kakashi in his early days, be careful. He's been through stuffs so, he would not hesitate to kill you.
