Chapter 17: Visiting the Spring Princess/Big news!

It had already been a week after our wedding. So thought I would ask Elsa if there was any news from the spring princess. I whistled to see if she would come. "Oh good she's here. Hey Elsa do you have anything from the spring princess?" "Yes you got a letter." I took the letter out and saw the envelope. "Huh this doesn't look like the envelopes she usually uses. Are you sure its for me Elsa?" "Its has your name on it right?" "Yeah it sure does. Stay here a second." So I opened it up and read the letter.

Dear princess,

No I am not the princess as you have noticed I am her brother. She wanted me to tell you to come over any time you need to. We will have things ready for you two to do together. As for why I am writing this letter well I heard you got married contrats to you and your husband. Sorry I couldn't make it as I am the only boy and crown prince I got busy. Anyway to the real reason I wrote this. Father told us to tell you that if you plan to come over and visit be careful when you talk about certain things. If she hasn't already told you its about the bloodline. Well I hope to see you soon All right gotta go.

"Huh prince Jaz huh? So they had twins girls and a boy. I don't remember him. Hmm. Maybe I will when I go over. I think I want to go over by myself. I mean I know I am a newlywed but I need to have girltime too." "OK you can rest now Elsa thanks." "Do you want me to take you Talia?" "Hmm. You know what yeah I have been using shimmer a lot. Plus its faster to fly. We won't be going today but I want to leave tomorrow. Be ready by 10 am." "Yes princess."

"Hey Jay." "Yes Talia what is it? Is everything ok?" "Yeah its fine. I was originally going to take us as a family to the spring kingdom but things changed when the princess had something urgent to tell me. Oh don't worry. I will only be staying for two weeks. Then we can have more fun at night." "Haha very funny ok. When do you leave?" "Tomorrow around 10:00am. "Ok Arion and I will see you off. Better let dad mom and the others know." "Haha I know I seem to be busier than my brother these days and he is the crown prince. Well I better start packing."

It was time for me to finally leave. "OK everyone. I'll come back in two weeks bye." I threw them all a kiss and we flew off. I held on tight cause its been awhile. "Hey Elsa?" "Yes Talia?" "Do you remember Jaz the crown prince of the spring kingdom? I don't remember him growing up I only remember the girls." "Haha yeah well since Emerald talked to you about their bloodline I'm sure she will tell you about Jaz then." "Hmm. OK I hope so. By the way did you get to meet Arion yet?" "Haha that little cutie I saw at a glimpse. Maybe when we get back you can introduce me to him. He was running out of the palace and Prince Jay came out to catch him." "Haha what a cutie." "Ok then I will make sure to do that. OH if I haven't told you yet he was fawns child." "Yes you told me that much." "I know I didn't tell you about her father and brother." So I told her what happened then told her about the meeting. "I see. Well at least they are at peace together. Lets hope that she doesn't do anything stupid and get herself killed." We finally landed. "You have finally gotten better at landing. Still needs some work. I'm ok though. Go have fun with the other animals." "Yes princess." "Hello sirs. I'm sure you know who I am?" "Yes princess. Come on in." So I went through the gate and saw beautiful colors. I was mesmerized. She was so mesmerized she didn't hear someone call her name for awhile. Then after she was tapped she was brought back. "Oh sorry princess. I was in a daze at the beauty. Emerald right?" "Haha yeah I am. Sorry I know we look alike so can I talk to you now?" "Sure where do you want to talk?" Lets go to my secret place. SO I followed her and it was a hut she must have built into a clubhouse to work. It had a bunch of girly springy stuff. "OK what can I help you with?" "Its about our engagent. Me and your brother." "Yeah you told me you wanted to talk about that at the wedding. So what is it? Is it the conditions?" "Well yes it has to do with that." "So what are they?" "Well I would have to be engaged for 6 months. Marry in another then have a child within 1 to two years. I think its rushing it don't you?" "Hehe is that all?" "What are you laughing. Oh my you took him seriously. I remember that old man when we were little he was a jokester. Emerald and I would like to have a word with you in private." He looked at his wife and she nodded. "Ok lets go." Then we followed him to his office. I looked around and it always looks the same nothing has changed except they change the decorations form time to time just not the places. "How can I help you two?" "Actually sir. Its about how you can help Emerald. I know I am just a princess, but I have been told I make some good points and if they had a crown princess they would make me one." "Ok go ahead what is your advice." "Thank you sir. It is about my brothers engagement to her." "Go on. If its ok with her." "Yes father." "Ok go ahead." "I think before you make any decisions don't you think you need to see my brother in person first? I mean you will be seeing more of him in the future." "I see." He rubbed his beard thinking. I will allow it. I will write a letter to him saying I want to meet about the engagement with him. If he makes a good solid deal with me I would welcome the engagement." "Thank you father!" She kissed him on the cheek and hugged him. Then I heard him clear his throat. "Yes well. Go on girls have a good day." Then we left and had girls time.

The first week had passed I was starting to feel tired lately. I thought maybe because I'm not used to all this fun and running around. "Hey Emerald. I don't feel so good. I feel tired." "You don't look good either should we call a doctor?" "Hmm. Maybe I need to lay down." "Ok Lets have you lay down on the couch in my courtyard in the shade." "Thank you." Once she laid down she fell right to sleep.

"Dad. Mom. We need a doctor. Talia isn't feeling well." "OK have someone call a doctor." He told one of the butlers. Tell them she is in my courtyard. Emerald ran back to check on her. "Hey Talia. Are you ok?" "Hmm." Like she was answering in her sleep. She felt like she might have a fever. "Oh doctor. Thanks for coming. She feels like she might have a fever. She said she didn't feel good and she has been tired these past few days." "OK relax. Lets check her out." He checked her pulse looked at her eyes and mouth. "Well lets see. Talia can you hear me?" "Who are you?" "I'm the doctor. Can you understand me?" "Yeah." "Ok do you remember that last time you bled?" "What why? I've been to busy." That's when I shot up. "Wait a second. Does that mean I'm expecting?" "Yes Congratulations Princess." "How far along am I?" "The I am assuming by the pulse you are 1 month pregnant." "Oh crap really? That long ago? How come I didn't have any symptoms until now? Well sometimes women have none at all but in your case yours started later. I suggest you have have someone on ground take you back home. Its safer than flying." "Yes sir. I'll send a letter to my family. Thank you." "Its ok you can tell dad. Can you give me a pen and paper before you tell your parents though?" "Yeah sure." She ran to a hidden place and got me a pen and paper and started writing. Once I was done I had emerald take it to Elsa and let her know what was going on. Then Elsa flew off.

"Hey how are you feeling? Want to go inside where its more comfortable?" "Yeah thanks." So she helped my tired self to my room I'm staying in.

Emerald left Talia to sleep then went to tell her family what was wrong. "Father mother sister Brother. We just found out that Talia is pregnant. She is about a month now." "Are you serious emerald?" Said Jade her sister. "Yes I am very serious. She had a slight fever and has been tired for awhile. The symptoms are sometimes late he says." "Oh I see." "Well then we will have to get her some baby stuff later on." "Yes father. I'm going to accompany her until we hear back from the snow kingdom. "Ok I will let you know." "Yes father." So she went up to accompany Talia.

(Knock Knock) "Its Talia are you awake?" there was no noise so she knocked again. (Knock Knock) she got even more worried then came in. Then she started hearing vomiting. "Oh Talia. No wonder you didn't answer." Emerald rubbed Talia's back as she threw up. "I'll go have a maid make some porridge for you." "Thanks." Then Talia rinsed her mouth out and laid back down.

It was finally around noon and I heard that Elsa was back but no letter. Then I heard Emerald come in. "Elsa is back. But there is not letter." "Its ok she is meant to tell me what it is. They might be in a hurry. That can only be the explanation. Take me to her." "Yes of course." So she helped me walk over to Elsa. "Hey Elsa. Sorry about them they can't understand. What is it?" "Finally. You look terrible. Your husband and older brother were the only ones allowed to come right now. They have a carriage on their way." "I figured as much since there was no letter. I think they forgot I can talk to animals." "Haha Yeah." Said Elsa. "Princess. I will follow your carriage home in case of an emergency ok?" "Thank you Elsa. You're the best." "Haha I Know. You have been telling me that since we first met. We are the same age after all." "Hehe I know right." Then I noticed people staring at me. "OK you should go. I'll see you later." "Of course princess." Then she flew off. "Excuse me everyone. I think a lot of you have forgotten I can speak to animals. That is my gift. There is one other one not even the princess knows. I would like to tell the royal family if I must in private about it first." "Yes princess of course." "We all went into the music room since It is sound proof.

"OK your majesties highness's. I just recently told my family about this. I'm sure you remember when my mom thought I had imaginary friends back when I was little right?" "Yes of course we do." "Well they weren't imaginary. Since then I was able to see the dead. They like to be called spirits not ghosts. Before my wedding I had seen the spirit of my friend fawn and her father and brother died that day I was supposed to meet them they left with fawn after I helped her. I have helped many spirits whether its kids, old ladies, teenagers, men, boys and so on. Heck I've even helped animals since I am able to talk to them. I was told to come here to help me to take a break but my wedding was getting closer. I still remember my first one. It was a boy 7 years old. Who died in a car accident he wanted to tell his parents he was sorry. They told him it wasn't his fault. Then he told them he loved them and gave them a kiss then went into the light." "I see. "Hey Emerald they won't be here till tomorrow. Can we take a walk in the garden?" "You feel up for it?" "Yeah for a little bit." "Ok sure." So we walked for awhile then sat on the bench in the middle of the garden. "Ah so peaceful. I hope it stays like this in the time of when the kid and future kids our born." I said. "Yeah but there is no guarantee what will happen." "Is anything wrong Emerald?" "No its fine. Lets keep thinking it is."

The next day it was almost time for my brother and husband to arrive. It was good since the king wanted to see Lycan anyway. I waited in the parlor for everyone to arrive. Then finally I heard footsteps. "Are you ok Talia? You said it was urgent!" "Woah slow down. I'm fine and easy. I just said urgent information. I'm not hurt. I just need to tell you all something Jeeze." Then the others left to give us some privacy. "Ok first Lycan you got the letter from the king?" "Yes he said after this meeting Emerald he and I will talk." "Well recently I haven't been feeling good. Emerald got the doctor and he checked up on me. I had a slight fever but I'm ok now. As for what was wrong. It's a shocker so take a deep breath. Hehe Don't let it out until I announce it ok? I am pregnant." Then they let it out. "What Talia say that again I didn't hear it." said Lycan. "I am going to have a baby. The doc said it was about a month." Then Jay remembered a month ago. "Oh that time. But why did the symptoms start now?" "The doctor said sometimes the symptoms come later or not at all yesterday was awful. They said I had to go home as soon as possible. The first trimester is the most crucial." "I see. Well Lets see how long the king's talk is going to be then we will decide what to do ok?" Said Jay. "Yeah good idea." Said Lycan. "How are you feeling now Talia?" "A little tired." Then brother left and let the two of us be alone.
