Chapter 16: The wedding

"Sorry I know its getting late and almost Arion's bedtime but I want to show you something. Follow me."

So he brought Arion with him and he followed me to the music room. "Welcome to the music room." "Oh wow so many instruments." "Yes when we got a certain age it is required for us to pick an instrument we would like to learn to play. So from when we are 3 on up we were taken to a lot of concerts. I chose the violin." I picked up my violin and said, "This is Storm. My violin. I haven't played it since I got back so I told my sister I would try it. So I did. I felt so much lighter. I wanted to play for you both. Arion. Mommy is going to play an instrument and you can too if you want ok? Hehe. OK I know Arion is all ready for bed so if he falls asleep we can put him to bed. I will play something soft for him." I looked in my old musical notes and found one. "Oh this is the lullaby mom sang to us. I'll play it." Then I started playing. After awhile I was done. I saw cute little Arion asleep with jay asleep as well holding him. I chuckled looking at both of them. I shook Jay a little bit and he woke up. "Oh sorry did I fall asleep?" "Hehe yeah its ok though. It was a lullaby I guess it worked for both of you." HE looked at Arion and smiled. "Wow he really is asleep. Want to come with me to put him to bed?" "Sure." I followed him to the Arion's room and we both kissed him goodnight. The babies room was on the other side of my room.

The next morning. I went to the garden with Jay. He wanted to ask me something so we sat on the bench. "OK so what is it?" "Well I am sure you figured it out but how would you feel about doing a performance at the wedding?" "Hehe. You too huh. Sis said the same thing when I played my violin for the first time in 2 years. Well I didn't tell my sister yet but I can tell you. Since I will be going out with my sister soon. I'm picking out a dress to put on after our first dance as husband and wife. I will think about playing by the time our wedding comes around ok?" "I hope you choose too." "Yeah me too." Then we talked about random stuff for awhile and headed back inside to find sister.

"Oh sis there you are. Ready to go?" "Yeah lets go." My sis gave me a scarf for my hair and wore my play clothes they looked commoner enough. "OK lets go to the dress shop." So we went in and we asked to see the owner. Someone got her and was surprised to see us. "What can I do for you ladies?" "Can we talk in the other room?" "Sure lets go." So we followed her to a different room and I said, "Well as you know I am getting married. My future husband and my sister want me to play my violin at the wedding. I need a dress to dance and perform in that is comfortable. The colors are blue purple and silver. I prefer a blue or purple color. Light please." "Ok follow me to those special dresses." I looked around and saw one that caught my eye. "Oh this is a pretty one." "Oh yes it is. I'm just surprised this one hasn't been selling." "Really? Well then there must be something wrong with them. I think for the situation I'm in at the moment. It's the prettiest one here no matter what color it was in. Can I get this in purple?" "Sure why not. Do you want to try it on?" "Sure." So my sister went in with me to help me out.

After it was on I said, "Wow this is pretty. Its like it was made for you. No wonder it wasn't selling." So I walked out to show the lady. "Wow you look gorgeous." "Thanks Mrs. Tune. Oh I have something for you after we are done." She nodded then I dressed back up in my normal clothes and said, "Since this one fit me fine I think I will take it today. Oh and sis can you get this pair of shoes for me too?" She checked the size and said, "Well at least they are the right size." So she put them up we paid and I said, "I'm allowed to bring only about a few commoners to the wedding. I wanted to invite you and the old man in the jewelry store. You both are widows and I saw how he looks at you and you blush when you see him." She blushed in embarrassment. "W-Well I will be there princess." "Ok sure. I will reserve spots for you both." Then I waved and we left.

"Ok sis one more stop." "The jewelry shop?" My sister joked. "Yep that's the one. Invitation time." "Oh so you are serious then?" "Why not?" Finally we got there and He noticed us right away. "Follow me customers." We followed him and he said, "What can I do for you princess's?" "Well I wanted to give you an invitation to my wedding. If you come dress extra handsome. There will be a surprise for you there. Oh and the colors are blue silver and purple." "OK I will do my best." We both giggled. "Ok we must be going. Looking forward to seeing you sir." Then we headed back to the castle.

Finally it was the day before the wedding. "Man time flies by fast. The little one will be 2 years old next month." I told my sister. "Yes I know. Do you have plans for him?" "Yeah I had Jay arrange it. I don't know what boys like so he will do all of it after the wedding and relaxing of course." I collapsed on the bed cause I was tired. "Hey sis what time are we picking up my dress?" "What time is it?" "Oh we should leave as soon as we get dressed its time." "Oh is it? Nice." So I dressed in my other clothes I had a scarf on my head again. We went in and the lady showed us to the fitting room. "Here you go." "Thank you." I tried the dress on and it fit like a glove. "Wow spot on. I like how this place makes your stuff fit and comfortable. Unlike other dress shops where they fit but are slightly loose or are supposed to be tight." "I agree." Said sis. "OK turn around let me fix the dress in the back. Oh sis." "What is it now?" "Are you going to hide the scar on your back?" she said as she just finished up. "Oh yeah I forgot. Uh I don't know maybe, maybe not. Its part of me but I might to look decent at the wedding. I'll figure it out by tomorrow. Wait this dress looks familiar. Don't tell me it's the original? I better find out." I showed the lady the dress and said, "Mrs. Tune. Is this?" "I know what you are going to say. Yes it is the original. I have no use for it. If no one wore it, it would be sitting in a corner collecting dust." "I see. Well I will cherish this." "I know you will princess." "Oh and dress extra pretty I have a surprise for you." "Oh ok I will make sure." I changed back we paid for the dress and left.

We got back home and I had to make sure my other dress fists for my performance. I tried it on and it was a little loose. "I must have lost a little weight recently. This feels loose." "Hang on sis. Mom taught me a trick. If it's a tad bit loose I fold it up Pin it with the button pins and done." I turned around and saw the back of the dress. "Wow so pretty." "Yes I got the buttons that would match the dress." "Thanks sis. You're a lifesaver." "I know." We were done in the room so I went to find jay.

"There you are future hubby. I was looking for you." I gave him a kiss on the cheek. "Thank you. What's up?" "Did you pick up Arion and your Tux?" "Yep and it still fit. We had one of the seamstresses tighten up. It was a little loose." "Hmm is that so? Did you get it from the shop that sells dresses? Mrs. Tune?" "Yes why?" "My dress for the concert was the same way. My wedding dress fit fine though. I don't think this is a coincidence. Where is father?" "Oh he is in the throne room." "Thanks." SO I headed toward the throne room and saw father. "Father I have some business I need to talk privately about please." "Certainly honey." So we went to fathers office I got right to the point. "Father Mrs. Tune's store has been good to us all these years. I think one of the workers are a spy and want to close her down. When I tried on my purple dress it was loose. I though maybe I lost a little weight. Then I found Jay and he told me Arion's suit was loose." "I see I'll have someone investigate immediately. The king went to find Lycan and told him the situation. "I'll get right on it father." Then he send some men to tell Mrs. Tune what was going on and to keep it secret she agreed. So a few worked there as well.

Finally it was the day of the wedding. It was an indoor wedding at a church for royalty only but since it's a special occasion the two I invited were allowed to come. I saw them and they each brought their kid they had. Mrs. Tune a daughter and Mr. Brion. Had a son. Since that was all I was allowed to bring I didn't invite anyone else but I made sure to get extra seats for the kids just in case they brought them. I noticed them looking for each other and thought It was adorable. I even put their seats together. Oh and Jays family was allowed to come even if they were commoners. At the moment I was having my dress put on me. I had flat shoes since I cant walk in high heels. My sis was in there with me. "Hey sis did you remember to bring my Violin and my outfit?" "Yes sis I remembered. They are in your lounge room." "OK good. OK where are my flowers I'm ready lets go." I had my father and my elder brother both walk me down the isle. I didn't want any brides maids. So Jay didn't have any best men. I was staring at Jay not taking my eyes off of him. He was so handsome. Aww look at him. He's crying. I didn't know he could. Then I was about to start but something stopped me. Then finally I got to the alter to Jay. Finally the ring bearer which was Arion with the help of Onyx. Came down the isle. "Thank you baby." "Thanks little brother." "Sure." Then it was time to say our vows. The priest said, "The lovely couple would like to say their own vows."

"Jay Charles Evans. I love you so much. I met you when your family found me in a bad situation. When I woke up you were there. Every time something bad or good happened to me you are always there. Please continue to always be there when I wake up until the end of our days. I promise to love you in sickness and in health for richer or poorer in sorrowful and happy times. I may not have known you long but I have known you long enough. I love you." Then it was his turn. "Second Princess Talia Grace Kingston. When I first met you I fell in love at first site. Then I got to know you better and fell even deeper. I love your unique personalities. I promise to continue being there for you when you wake up everyday. We have our first child already. He may not be blood but I promise to be a good father to him and a good husband to you. Until death do us part richer or poorer. Happy and sorrowful time. I promise to be there. For him and you." Then he put the ring on me. Oh if forgot I put the ring on him after my vows Hehe ok lets continue. "By the power vested in me and our god you may kiss your bride." Then I pulled him over and kissed him. It was a good kiss cause we kissed quite a long time. Then I heard people whistle then we parted. I was a little shy for it being so long. "I now introduce Princess and prince Evans. We went ahead and relaxed a bit then it was time for our first dance.

We went to the ballroom and then the announcer said, "Its time for the bride and grooms first dance." Then we got in position and they played the music and we danced. I hated the twirling part because it made me dizzy but I managed. Then finally the song ended and I needed to sit down.

Jay saw me and sat me down. "Hey are you feeling ok Talia?" "Yeah fine. Just a little dizzy from all that twirling. I'll be fine. Once I am done resting I will change. By the way jay. I didn't say how handsome you looked. You look really good. You handsome devil." "Oh do I look that good? Maybe I should dress all the time." He joked. "I wouldn't mind. But it might make you uncomfortable." WE both laughed. After awhile I calmed down then I went to change.

"In a few minutes the bride will come on to the stage and perform for us." Everyone was shocked.

A few minutes later I was ready and let the announcer know. "OK ladies and gentleman may I have your attention please?" Then everyone quieted down. "The princess is ready to perform. Before she does she would like to say a few words." He gave the mic to me and I said, "Hello guests. Are you having fun so far?" They all cheered. "Well I would like to thank you all for coming. I also want to apologize for that long kiss." I said with an embarrassed face. "I haven't played my violin since I returned almost 3 years ago now. I have played it a few months ago my sister had me play it. I felt good so I thought I would play a little something for you today." I brought out my violin put the paper on the stand I drank some water and took a deep breath then looked at Jay and my family. Then I started playing. I played for about 20 minutes then I went to join everyone. "Well that was a treat right? Well then I guess its time to enjoy our food so later the bride and groom can cut the cake."

So he stepped down and came to congratulate us too. I noticed that Mrs. Tune and Mr. Brion Coming to see me. "Hello you two. Did you like my surprise." "Haha you did surprise us. We both came and with our kids too. Thank you princess." "Oh sure." They were in their mid 30's their kids were teenagers. "Congratulations princess and prince of snow." "Well thank you Mr. Brion and Mrs. Turner. I Hope some day we can go to your wedding." Said Jay. "Jay! They aren't even dating yet!" I yelled quietly. "Haha its ok. I'm sure its not far off." Said Brion. "Congratulations princess and prince of snow." Said the kids. "Oh thanks you two. Are you helping your parent out with their shops?" "Yes we are. I have been bugging dad to marry Mrs. Tune already. That's all he ever talks about these days." "Hehe how cute." I said. "Well you wouldn't if you had to live with him 24 hours a day." The boys name was Zevin. The girl's name was Jade. They were both 16 years old. After awhile after we all ate it was finally time to cut the cake.

The announcer announced it was time for the bride and groom to cut the cake. Jay and I went over. Waited for everyone to gather then jay got the Knife I put my hand on his then we cut the cake, put our piece on the plate then we picked our pieces up and face smashed then we cleaned ourselves up and went to sit down and rest.

"Oh I didn't know the Spring princess made it. Oh and the Summer prince. Too bad the fall prince couldn't come I guess its ok. Lets go greet them." "You feel up to it? Aren't you tired?" "Yeah I'll be fine." "Ok lets go then." We greeted the Spring princess first. "Hello Emerald." "Oh hi princes Talia congrats. You too Prince Jay." "Thanks Princess Emerald." "So have you seen my brother yet?" "Oh Lycan? Yeah I met him when I got here. I got here a little late when they announced your performance. At least I got to see that." "Yeah that's good. So any new about you two yet?" "Actually I want to talk to you about it. I haven't told Lycan about it yet." "OK tell me after the wedding then. In a few days." "Yes I will thanks." Then the summer prince greeted us as well.

After awhile it was finally the end of the wedding. After everyone left I was so tired I almost fell but Jay caught me. "Are you ok Talia?" He said worriedly. "Yeah I will be fine. Once we get to our room I'll just need a shower to wake me up." He nodded. "Ok shall we go my prince." "We shall my Princess." We giggled then headed to our room.

Once we got in our room we both took our bath then we dried off. You know what happens on wedding nights. I'm not going to go into detail here. We of course did the deed a few times then took another bath put on some pjs' went to sleep.
