CHAPTER FIVE : THE TOURNAMENT

The tournament is a celebration held for the younger generations which will showcase their brilliance, strength, radiance and beauty. The tournament is fixed at the big pavilion of the Ji residence which is very wide, four squared and gigantic which can contain five million people, a lot of guests, big shots, big clans, and the imperial family attended and were already settled and served. The second miss of the Ji clan Ji Xiaofei can be seen at the entrance of the pavilion receiving guests and her academie's junior and senior sisters and brothers,

When the guard announced the arrival of the imperial family, all stood and bent down as a sign of respect to the Emperor Jiawen and Empress Chi yao looking as young and handsome and beautiful as before, no sign of aging appearing on their appearance until they walked to their seats and sat before the buzzing crowd continued

With many disciples in line at the back of the 3 elders and disciple, that youths name is Mo Ting and his teacher (Shufu) After they all settled down and were about to say something, the guard's voice rung again:

The Immortal Technique palace academy has arrived

There were three elders in tow, a lady and one young man at the back of the elders but something happened before they could enter the pavilion, two flashes appeared and an elder and a devilish,cold, elegant beauty could be seen. People were stunned because this young ladie's speed was faster than the elder's, which led them to speculate the identity of the young woman whose beauty is like a blooming flower in winter which is lonely no matter how windy it gets it never shakes but stays rooted to the ground. It's beauty and radiance shining in its own, outshining the other flowers surrounding it.

Ji Xiaofei: Big sister, you finally came with big brother

Ji bo'er: (With a face as if carved step by step with a slight smile) Fei'er, you left us to come eat mom's dishes not considering to cultivate more. Food monster

then another two sticks burns out with two thousand second class upper talents. Then reaching the princes and princesses and all clans geniuses getting first class lower talents

Mo ting steps out with the devilish beauty by his side, contrasting yet mesmerising, different yet a match made in heaven. They both placed their hands on the surface of the tomb which shined brightly and encircled them reading from fifth to first proving they've got talents of first class upper

The second tests begins which tests their wills, they all sat down emerced in a chaotic, tragic or romantic, lovely dreams. Some screamed while some fainted which proves their will are very low, some vomited blood. While in Ji nuan's dream, it was very cloudy. She saw herself in front of a man who looks about thirty five years old but the man seems to be in pain and sorrow because he was sobbing but the woman looks very beautiful that even the gods were jealous was bloodied but still kept reciting her chants about " sacrifice of love chants; a sacrifice of the soul, body and heart, where three incarnation of you would be in hell for love without no regrets" After chanting, she looked at the man lovingly and said" I never showed my love because no matter how I told you or showed you, it wouldn't be enough. You once asked me if I could die for the man I love but I never gave you an answer but today I've given you an answer. For the one I love, I would give up everything I've for him: my life, happiness, love or position. I love you" She closes her eyes and starts dispersing while the world turned into chaos, Ji nuan's body shakes but she doesn't make a sound trying to figure out the reason for the gang up of all clans and academy massacring their clans, their teachers backstabbing them, which left them no choice than to detonate. Mo ting's dream was of one in his past life where he was stabbed by the one person whom he would have drank poison from her own hands, he fell into a range and stabbed her in her heart only to discover that she did that to protect him from danger. He regretted his actions making a promise and swearing an oat with her before she dies " I'll love you and only you in this lifetime or millions of lifetimes to come, I will never look at other girls, may I never incarnate if it isn't your turn yet, may our love and promise keep locating and bringing us closer"

When Ji nuan finally opens her eyes, it's coldness could freeze an ocean into ice while Mo ting's eye's could burn a person's soul without remains, everyone's body and soul trembles in shock about how monstrous their cultivation could be.

They got first place in all four challenges except for their cultivation and battle prowess.

The fifth challenge produces shocking monsters such as Ji Nuan, Mo Ting, the ninth princess, Ji Xiaofei, Mo xiaxia Mo Fu she, Ji Xioghei, Shi Fang, Qin yaun, Chu Mao, Chi Zedong, Di tian, Xiu Meier, Wen shining, Fu Shan, Li Bai and four hundred more disciples.

The final is combat between the winners who would be paired up in two's and asked to fight a stage 9 condensing qi realm beast which is equivalent to an immortal stage 4 realm. Everyone has been paired leaving Mo Ting and Ji nuan to pair together, some contestants broke their bones, some died, some had heavy injuries,some passed.

Ji nuan and Mo ting's turn reached making many eyes focus on them, the fought the beast without releasing their qi proving their qi is stable and tempering their body more which after a full breath, the beast was killed and disposed granting them winners because they had a tie, they were tasked to fight eachother to provide a winner

Every contestants stepped down giving much room for the two monsters to prove their strengths

Mo Ting released his cultivation showing he was at the condensing qi realm stage 4 while Ji nuan released her qi proving to be 2 stages above him condensing qi realm stage 6 ...
