Seeing Liam

I searched for Lloyd everywhere and finally found him in our room though I checked there. He must have just got in. "Lloyd?" I asked.

He looked over at me. "Hmm?"

I hesitated. Why did this not seem like a good idea now? "I want to go for a walk."

He frowned. "You can't go by yourself."

I nodded. "I was going to ask Harumi and Nya if they wanted to go."

He nodded. "What about Skylar and Pix?"

"Px is working on something with Zane today and Skylar said she was busy. Harumi and Nya said they'd go but that I'd better tell you."

His tail lashed through the air for a minute then stopped. "Okay," he said.

I turned to go but then paused. "Where have you been?"

He looked away. "Searching."

I blinked. "You're trying to find him?"

He turned back to me and was across the room quickly when he saw I was starting to panic. "Yes, but not on my own. Then Ninja has been coming with me," he said quickly.

I breathed deeply and let his scent relax me. "Okay. As long as you aren't on your own."

He kissed me. "You don't need to worry."

I gave him a dark look. "I'll always worry about you. You're my fiancee and I really do want to marry you so don't get yourself killed."

He smiled. "What happens if I do?"

"I'll figure out how to talk to the FSM and have him bring you back. Then I'll kill you myself!"

He laughed. "Okay, okay. You win."

I kissed him. "I'll be back."

"You better."

I hurried out of the room and met Harumi and Nya at the door. "He said we I could go," I told them and we started off. We were silent until we got to Ninjago. "have you guys been going with Lloyd on his searches?" I asked.

Harumi shook his head. "No, we stay and make sure you're protected."

"With Misako and Master Wu. Garmadon will be here later today to help out too," Nya added.

I stopped dead. "Garmadon?" I have yet to meet my soon-to-be father-in-law.

"Hay, it's nothing to panic over," Harumi said. "Garmadon will love you just like everyone does."

I nodded then frowned. "Is that David?"

They followed my gaze. "But himself?" Nya said frowning too.

Then Mom came out of a store and we watched them walk into a candy store. I scowled. "She's spoiling him! She never let me go to the candy store!"

Nya grinned. "Jealous?"

I shook my head. "No. I'm free to do what I please now." I looked at them. "With my friends," I added.

"Friends who are also your protectors," Harumi said.

"True." We walked passed the store and I froze when I saw a familiar guy walking directly toward us. I started trembling. "Guys," I choked out.

They looked and stood in front of me instantly. "What do you want?" Nya snapped.

"More like where the hell have you been?" Harumi snarled.

Stop trembling, I thought to myself. He'll know you're scared. "Call Lloyd," Nya said under her breath so I could only hear. 

I pulled my phone out shakily and called him. "Hello?" Lloyd said.

"Lloyd?" I whispered. "We need you."

"Y/n, what's wrong?" His tone had sharpened.

"Liam," I whimpered quietly.

"Where are you?"

"A little past the candy store."

"I'm coming."

"Hurry." We hung up. I tried to stop shaking but I couldn't. Why did he scare me so badly? I wasn't scared of him this much before! There was a green blur and then Lloyd was standing beside Nya. 

Nya looked at him. "That was quick."

"I wasn't that far away," he replied. He glanced at me. "Are you okay, Y/n?" 

I opened my mouth to reply and no sound came out. I settled for nodding. Harumi moved to stand beside me. "It's going to be okay," she murmured.

"Will it?" Liam said grinning. Two people dragging a woman and a boy came up from behind him. Both of which were very familiar.

"Mom! David!" I cried.

Lloyd glared. "Y/n is no longer royalty, why do you want her?"

Liam smirked and kicked my mother. "Did you not tell your daughter who her real father is, bitch?" He asked her.

I grabbed onto the back of Lloyd's shirt. "What are you talking about? My father is the Emperor of the City," I said.

He laughed. "That's what she wanted you to think."

Lloyd reached behind him and pulled me so I was next to him. He twined his fingers with mine. "Stop playing around," Nya snapped. "Tell us what you're talking about."

He snorted. "Can't you tell? I'm her father."
