Bobby rode with Keith in the Rover back to Jason’s house. Bobby clutched the seat. Keith held onto Bobby’s arm as he helped him up the porch stairs where Olivia and Jason were waiting with Kitty. Kitty came to the door as soon as she saw Keith’s vehicle pull up. She ran in front of them as they entered the house. “Uncle Bobby, I was so worried that you went with your parents to Heaven. I don’t like God much. He needs too much company. Why does he take away the people we need? That’s selfish. Daddy said you can’t take things away from other people, without their permission, it’s bad. Well, if it’s naughty for me it’s worse for him, he made the rules.” She crossed her arms and tapped her foot.

“I can’t say I disagree with you, Princess,” Keith told her.

Bobby kissed Olivia and Kitty. Jason led him straight to the kitchen and settled him into a chair to eat. Olivia had prepared a light breakfast of fruit, scrambled eggs, and toast.
