In the first match of the Blue Lock project, I was determined to make an impact on the game. As a defender, my primary focus was always on stopping the opposing team from scoring, and I was determined to do everything in my power to prevent them from doing so.
Early in the match, the opposing team made a dangerous run towards our goal. I quickly assessed the situation and knew that I had to act fast if we were going to prevent them from scoring. I sprinted towards the ball carrier, timing my tackle perfectly and winning the ball back for our team.
But I wasn't content to just stop the goal-scoring opportunity there. I knew that we needed to turn the tide of the game and start attacking ourselves, and I saw my opportunity to do just that. Instead of passing the ball off to a teammate, I decided to take matters into my own hands.
With the ball at my feet, I sprinted towards the opposite side of the field, dribbling past opposing players with ease. The crowd roared as I weaved my way through the opposing team's defense, my eyes locked firmly on the goal.
As I reached the edge of the penalty box, I saw an opening and took my shot. The ball sailed through the air, headed straight towards the goal. But unfortunately, the opposing goalkeeper made a spectacular save, and the ball bounced harmlessly away.
Even though I didn't score on that play, I felt a sense of pride knowing that I had made an impact on the game. By stopping the opposing team's scoring opportunity and carrying the ball up the field myself, I had shown my teammates and the crowd what I was capable of. Barou looked extremely pissed.
