ᑕᕼᗩᑭTᗴᖇ 40: ᴛʜᴇ ғɪɢʜᴛ

Jessi just finished up cleaning all the dishes so she decided to check on the others.

It's already late at night. The white creatures are all deep in their slumbers. All gathered in the living room except the vampire who doesn't really sleep like forever.

Yalex and Trevor are both in the room of the dragon. Insisting to look after the creature but the two eventually fell asleep after a two hours straight of bickering at each other.

While Blue. Samuel let him stay in his room since the angel is not allowed to be in contact to people with soul.

Jessi entered the music room and found Samuel and Rhian. Quietly talking to each other.

"Great. We were just waiting for you." Rhian said upon seeing the deity.

"What's up?" She asked and took a sit on the empty chair beside Samuel. The two watched Rhian play the piano which she had been playing for hours already and the sole reason why everyone fell asleep.

Rhian is also a skilled pianist and she can use it to her advantage by setting up a trance for her victims. Or sometimes make them fall asleep.

She was planning to do it only for Blue because he always had a hard time falling asleep. But ended up affecting the others because of everyone's heightened senses. Samuel and Jessi were both lucky because they were cleaning in the cave while Rhian was playing her 'lullaby'.

"The team is complete now. It's time that we move to the second phase of the mission." Samuel stated and looked at Jessi. She simply nodded in reply before letting out a soft sigh.

"Don't worry. You won't even notice us being away. We'll be back sooner than you know." Samuel said to her.

"Why? Do we need to go somewhere?" Rhian asked and halted her fingers from pressing on the piano tiles as she turned her head to look at the two.

"The first phase was to complete the team. Since you're complete. It's time to move to the second phase which is to visit each of every member's hometown! To be able to learn and relate to different cultures." Jessi explained.

"It's a very important objective that everyone must learn to understand." She added and then lowered her gaze from the two.

It's obvious that she looks sad.

Because they will be leaving sooner or later.

"Thank holy blood!!! Does this mean no more school!?" Rhian chortled.

"Jessi will take care of it for us. We just need to focus on our mission." Samuel said and Rhian nodded her head, indicating she understood.

The next day.

Samuel wasted no more time and told everyone their mission after their breakfast.

Some were a bit concern. Especially the sorcerers who ran away from home.

"Besides. The dragon is a new born. Wouldn't it be a risk if we suddenly go out there with him in this form?" Yvel asked in concern. It's only natural that she's concerned the most. She is his rider after all.

"I think you are deliberately implying that you do not trust my presence here." Yalex grumbled with his arms crossed.

"We have nothing to worry. Yalex is with us and it's pretty obvious that he isn't going anywhere." Rhian said to her with a reassuring manner.

"Rhian's right. Yalex won't return to the underworld because he needed to stay by Trevor's side. To keep him safe from underworld creatures and his own father." Samuel added his explanation.

Everyone had heard the story already from Coleen the sooner that Trevor allowed her to tell the others.

They are a team. So the first step of trusting each other is to learn how to communicate and know each other's conflict.

"Don't worry too much Yvel. There's literally ten of us from different races. That alone makes us very unbeatable." Coleen tried to cheer her up and Yvel gently nodded her head. Forcing out a smile.

The dragon on her lap purred and started walking in rounds. He does it a lot and will eventually try to fly but his own body is still too heavy for him to carry on his own.

"If we're going to each of our hometown! That would mean that we're going to swim down the trenches of oceans! Or go to north and south pole!" Blue exclaimed dramatically after realization hits him just now.

"But my house was burnt and people from my neighborhood hunts me down! Do we need to go to the moon too? Oh sh*t! We're all going to hell! We're gonna--- OW!!!!!" Blue yelped after receiving a very strong thwack from Rhian. It gave a strong 'pak' sound so it must've hurt and poor head of Blue. He's lucky it's still intact to his neck and his skull hasn't shattered to pieces yet.

"What was that for!!?" Blue complained while rubbing the back of his head.

"You're exaggerating!!! Again!" The vampire yelled at him furiously.

"I'm literally stating the facts! We're all going to hell!"

"So what!? You heard the mission! Or maybe I wasn't informed that you're deaf and stupid or both!"

"Who are you calling stupid!?" Blue suddenly stood up from the couch while glaring down at Rhian who quickly stood up to face him.

The others just watched them. Waiting for them to finish fighting like an old married couple.

"You!!! You're stupid! No! I take that back! You're an idi**!" Rhian yelled at him that made the boy dramatically gasped while hugging himself.

"You little imbecile brat bat!!!"

"You little coconut wolf haired idi**t!!!"

"Y-you... You bloodsucker!!!"

"You soul thief!"

An unexpected silence suddenly strucked their fight. But it was quickly interrupted by Yalex when he suddenly cackled hilariously with the phoenix smiling awkwardly beside him.

"That's a fu**ing good one! Just look at his face!" Yalex cackled like a maniac while pointing at Blue.

Everyone looked to check the boy's expression. And it seemed like Rhian had uttered a very sensitive word for him.

Blue had gotten mentally strong. But it gets really obvious when he takes something seriously.

That 'soul thief' word for example. It wasn't the first time he heard it. Because people from where he came from gave him that name and it hunted him wherever he goes.

Samuel and Trevor are not aware of that because he never once thought or mentioned it when he was able to finally strengthen his mental state.

Blue quietly sat down on his seat. While Rhian only rolled her eyes in annoyance. She was either regretting what she said and not at the same time thinking that Blue deserves it for being a stupid idi**.

She sat back beside Jade who whispered some things to her and she just kept scoffing.

Samuel cleared his throat and looked at Jessi who urged him to keep talking. Thankfully, Yalex finally stopped laughing when he sensed that the atmosphere became tensed.

"So. I'd say already that Blue isn't exaggerating. We might really end up doing all that. But of course with a very extra precautions." Samuel explained and looked briefly at the angel and vampire. "Iam the first one in the group. So my hometown will be our first stop."

"But I cannot let us continue on to our plan of journey while this conflict goes on between two of our members." He added and gave a stern look at the two.

"I'm fine." Blue said almost immediately and both Samuel and Jessi immediately scoffed in disbelief.

"Stop acting and fighting like kids! Clearly you two are not on good terms right now! So we'll leave you two to fix this!" Samuel glowered at him in a very intimidating manner. That same attitude he showed them when Trevor was almost killed during their first breakfast together.

Samuel stormed out of the room. Soon followed by Jessi and the others.

They're already used to hearing each other bicker. But this one obviously gone too far.

"Look what you did! So immature!" Rhian tsked and leaned her back on the couch with obvious annoyance on her face.

"You always make everything a big deal! How am I the one who's immature!?" Blue snapped. Annoyed just like she is.

"You're the one who's always starting the fight!"

"You always hit my head!"

"You're always exaggerating!"

"So what!!?" Blue suddenly raised his voice which took Rhian a bit by surprise.

Blue is always speaking very gentle. Although he's always loud. But never once did he raised his voice at her with obvious anger.

"Fu** Rhian! What the hell is wrong with you!? We always fight like this all the time! You weren't like this before when Vladimir was still alive!" He said and Rhian suddenly snickered with amusement.

"So this is about that traitor now? You're venting everything out on me because of what he did to your friend!"

"I never said that!"

"That's exactly what you're trying to say!!!"

"I'm not! What the hell is your problem!? My point is that you changed after he betrayed us!"

Rhian didn't utter any word and stared down at Blue with disbelief.

If she was feeling giddy, she would say Blue looked entirely hot in this state. But she is very mad at him right now from the very pits of her stomach.

How did it even happened?

Blue was right. When Vladimir betrayed them, their fight had gotten suddenly worse and happens almost every hour of the day.

Blue was mad at her first for treating Trevor badly. And now, it seemed like the table has turned because Rhian became more patienceless than she usually are.

"This conversation is only making everything worse. You take everything too seriously Blue. I was trying to apologize for my own mistake but you were the one who pushed me away first!"

"You didn't care if my only friend dies!!! And you expect to pretend that it's over now!? It literally happened like two or three days ago! It's not that simple!"

"Your only friend!?" Rhian chuckled deviously with a trace of sarcasm and Blue was a bit offended by it.

"So what does that fu**ing make me!!? Your fu**ing talking doll!?" And with that, Rhian stormed out of the house and decided to take her leave after drinking the last bottle of serum she had stored in her pockets.

Jade and Jessi tried to stop her but the vampire was beyond pissed.

"I can't seem to understand that prick! What exactly does he take me for!?" Rhian growled rather aggressively so the others had to step back for safety measures.

It was so obvious. Rhian is both jealous and offended.

"I'm not just some toy he can use to fill his skinship needs! I'm a vampire and I'm fu**ng alive! I have emotions and feelings just like him! He kept saying he doesn't have friends then what am I to him!?" Rhian continued rambling at Jade while they listen to her attentively.

"You can still talk this out. Don't act too rash! I'm sure Blue didn't mean it that way!" Jade said to her and Rhian suddenly cussed and shook her head.

"No fu**ing way! I'm done being used by that assh**e! Tell him that I better not see him in my house the moment I go back! I don't fu**ing care about him anymore! And since Trevor is his one only great best friend! Then let them be together!"

And with that. Rhian finally left in her car. Not letting anyone follow her.

Jessi and the other girls decided to go back inside and found Samuel scolding Blue.

Samuel looked obviously pissed and Yalex had to calm him a bit despite enjoying how the group is suddenly turning into a mess because of the two.

While the angel of death was just there. Sitting on the couch with a blunt expression while Samuel was about to pop his veins from scolding him.

Everyone heard what Rhian said thanks to their extraordinary senses. So Blue must've heard everything she said.

"Great timing! Just in time when you all are set to leave! Now this mission will be postponed! Again!" Jessi exclaimed and stomped to her room, pulling the girls with her.

"Then, are we staying for now? While those two are still fighting?" Coleen asked.

All the girls are gathered in Jessi's room. Including Ysabella in her human form since she's putting effort of using her human body.

"I guess so. Those two were told to talk it out but they really just had to make it worse." Jessi sighed in frustration and rubbed her temples.

Ysabella spoke something and so Yvel and Coleen turned to Jade and waited for her to translate for them.

"She said. Samuel will be angry. This mission has been waiting for us for so long. And now it will be postponed again." She translated and the girls could only sigh seeming that it's exactly what will happen now.

"Then. Where is Blue going to stay now? I don't think Rhian is joking when she said she doesn't want to see him in her house." Yvel spoke very concern.

They know that Rhian is the only one who's keeping Blue away from killing people accidentally. And she was the only one who took away his insecurities.

But now it seemed that he had lost her.

"Let's just wait. Rhian isn't that shallow. And Blue is a very soft hearted person. Those two will eventually realize their own faults and fix this on their own." Coleen sighed and Yvel immediateny nodded. The rest hoping for the same.

Although Jessi is the only one who thinks it's not gonna be that easy.

"For the meantime. We should focus on helping Ysabella ang Kit to get used in this place. It's probably the best thing we can do for now." Jessi said and everyone agreed.

Fate is really testing them.

They really just had to fight when they were about to plan their next journey together.

She remember the first time she had seen Blue.

That very depressed boy. Suicidal and lifeless. Although he is practically dead. Blue is way worse at that time and she couldn't be more thankful that Rhian saved him from that.

I just hope this fight won't make him like that again...
