{Jade's POV.}
I tossed and turned in bed all night, restless and unable to sleep. The question Vasilis had posed to me occupied my mind space.
"What do you want from me, Jade?"
What did I want? Really. Or rather, what did he want me to want from him?
I pulled out all his letters and pored over them over and over again, looking for hints or hidden pointers. But nothing was hidden. He had confessed his feelings, plainly, clearly. He had not hidden behind words to mask his emotions. He had been straightforward with every word, every letter, every punctuation.
I realized then, that I was the one in hiding.
From the first day we met, I had actively tried to deny that I felt something for him. That the possibility of something existing between us was real.
I had went through several stages of confusion, and then blatant denial. It was not his fault. I had never once shown him how I felt. Talk less of confessing my feelings to him.
