few minutes before he met daniel:

I've been alive for too long I thought as i closed my eyes in the carriage as i tuned Edmund out.

Edmund was my right hand man from day one and was literally one of the closest persons to me but sometimes no scratch that most times he talked too much and that I hated.

right now we were on our way to lord leonard's castle to 'Save' his kid. Three weeks ago lord leonard wrote a letter to me telling me he knew about the death coming to his household and that he knew it wasn't my fault.

He then requested for me to please save his kid and I obliged well only because I Was interested in seeing the kid.

I have heard wonders about the kid with legendary beauty, the kid was literally a wonder and had on many occasions been called perfect well perfect was his middle name but still the kid was quite popular.

I had always thought the kid was quite over rated they were just saying good things, i'm quite sure the kid isn't that good or perfect though the vampires that have met him said he has a pure and sweet scent.

lord Angel we have arrived the driver announced good I said and came down leaving edmund who had fallen asleep with no one to talk to.

I walked into the castle seeing the dead bodies left on the floor with their hearts or throats torn out and the lingering smell of death. I've been alive for thousands of years and I was literally heartless at this point but still I felt great respect for lord leonard; a man who had seen his death and accepted it, a man who sacrificed himself just to maintain the balance and peace.

I walked into the hallway and the smell hit me It was a mature,pure and sweet scent. I immediately looked up from the dead bodies and what or rather who i saw stunned me; this kid wasn't a legendary beauty this was a freakin goddess or god because at this point despite the male bedwears i didn't know if this was a girl or a boy. so ethereally beautiful definitely a good looking kid.

I noticed that he had been crying with the little drops of tears barely noticeable under his eyelids and his blood stained clothes.

I also noticed the kid staring at me with surprise and a *are you dumb* look but still I couldn't bring myself to speak but finally as I was about to say something.
