Blood Maiden

Christopher Ice was a boy whose life was completely destroyed by his government - from his home to his reason of living. But his bad luck didn't stop there as he was kidnapped and experimented on by the same government to be transformed into a human weapon. However 2 years after his capture his thirst for vengeance overcomes him and he breaks out of his experimental facility. After he begins his killing spree he meets a girl who seemed to suffer the Same fate as he. His story of death, vengeance, betrayal and love begins as a bounty hunter out for the severed heads of those who wronged him. *NOTE : The above story is completely fictional (which I honestly don't have to point out). The names are all placed in an order where the last name comes first and the first name comes last like in Japan even though the names may not be Japanese. Also I've dropped tiny references to other mangas, animes and movies as well as some songs. See if you can figure 'em out. Word count is about 1000 per chapter and it will stay that way till 22.3.2020 after which it should increase. This goes for chapters per week as well. I've got great plans for this story so stock around with me ; ) Also also picture does not belong to me.. Whoever drew the picture does so the credit to the picture goes to him/her..*

'Master'

Ice's arm shot toward Robert, with killing intent. The arms were big but fast. Ice was currently panting while Levia watched from the background. Every now and then she would try to attack Wilde but would fail horribly. Wilde too was not in too good of a shape. he was covered in bruises and cuts.

Surprisingly, Ice was not shocked or any bit astonished to see Wilde there, almost as if he was expecting it.

"We gotta leave..." Ice whispered to Levia. "We're garnering too much attention."

Levia nodded.

Ice smirked and dashed toward Wilde.

"Gratum!!" be shouted as he attacked Wilde.

Wilde's playful smile which had, at some point, vanished, returned to his face. "Etrium!" He shouted back to which Ice's smile grew wider.

A tiny ball of white flame appeared near bis legs, erecting a wall of white flame around him. "Hot.." Wilde muttered to himself inside the barricade. By the time Walker and Silas reached and by the time the barricade subsided, Both Ice and Wilde had vanished. The buildings that Wilde had destroyed while 'altering reality' had all returned to normal and almost all traces of battle had disappeared.

"What the hell happened here?" Walker said to himself as he witnessed the only remains of the battle - a large crater and steel spikes - identical to the ones at the Manor of Warmenier.

...

Ice and Levia were headed due West. Ice didn't really mention anything about the recent battle and neither did Levia. She was however curious on the relation between the two.

"The plan is in motion" Ice said.

Levia didn't said understand anything but she wasn't interested.

"If you ever see him again..." Ice said turning his head towards Levia. They were currently walking out of Nigra Forum with cloaks to cover their bodies. "...don't attack him" He finished.

She nodded. "So who was he?" She finally asked.

"Another subject, like me and you.." He replied.

"Then why fight him?"

"You'll understand soon enough.."

Silence followed as they moved through the streets of Phaedra. The Eastern part of Phaedra was called Occidentes, populated with by shop owners and merchants who sold their goods to couples who came to see the sights of the area. It was, in fact, most couples of middle class families would come over to stay at Occidentes. It was given the name of Love nest by a few others jokingly.

Ice went through the request be had received with a smile on his face. His face resembled a 5 year old that'd gotten wonderful Christmas presents. They found an alleyway which didn't seem to have many people walking through it.

"Stultus Muta... Age 47... owns multiple slaves and has a mansion that was given to him by the man who manages the district.... Oblito Lumina... I'll get a bonus if I kill him too? nice.. Okay back to Multus.. I mean Stultus... Si he's easy to recognise, plump figure orange hair, multiple rings on his right hand..? Well in any case we've got two men to take out.. tho' they could've told us about what the Oblito guy looked like... Oh well" He rolled the paper and shoved it into the breast pocket of his cloak and began the journey to Occidentes.

.....

Wilde ran through the houses in Phaedra's central district, jumping from rooftop to rooftop. He too has a wry smile on his face. "It's all up to you... Ice... The plan can't be set jnto motion until you become a Named Bounty Hunter.... We all trust you.." He muttered to himself. After a few jumps he reached an abandoned manor. It looked old with overgrown twigs and trees covering it. The door creaked as it opened by Wilde's hands.

"You're back.." A voice said from atop the large staircase. A girl emerged from the shadows wearing a long dress. She walked over to his ear and whispered - "Gratum?"

"Etrium" Wilde whispered back.

The girl left out a sigh. "Master is waiting for you with patré in the master bedroom." she said.

Wilde nodded and climbed the stairs. the house was empty and no one other than Wilde and a few other subjects along with Patré and their guest occupied the room.

'Master' was a man of mystery. none knew his real identity nor his real face. communication occured purely through letters and phone calls. if he were to meet in person, which he seldom did, he would wear a white mask that was only open at the eye holes and nostrils. under the eye holes was a red streak that looked like tears of blood and a black open mouth, which was only open an inch or so.

Wilde opened the door to the room where there lay a sick and convalescent person and a man wearing a well stitched and neatly worn suit. The back of the suit alone was elongated a little more than usual and be wire gloves, white as the moon. his hair was the only thing that was visible behind the mask. according to rumors hundreds of people tried to unmask him only to fail miserably and die. His presence alone was heavy and powerful as he say in that room talking to the suck man who seemed to be at the edge of the cliff*.

"Master, how wonderful of you to grace us with your presence." Wilde said respectfully. "Could you have something to request of us?"

The man turned towards Robert. "WR-09... How did it go with CI-07?" He said. His voice was muffled due to the mask.

"The fight we had garnered a little too much attention. I had no choice but to escape." Wilde replied.

The sick man spoke up. His voice was too weak and fragile. "He's.. too dangerous.."

"You must rest Patré." 'Master' comforted. He turned to Wilde again "He's right he's too dangerous. If we want to complete Pol Ianuam we need him dead."

Wilde hated the word. Pol Ianuam - Heaven's door.

"Rest assured.. we will do our utmost best to finish him.."

'Master' got up from the seat. He walked menacingly towards Wilde, his figure looking like a demon's. "You better.." He whispered in Wilde's ear. Wilde's felt a chill go down his spine. What he felt was nothing less that killing intent. "I'll send reinforcements whenever he's spotted. If he walks into Nigra Forum again, he'll be dead before he can walk out.. What did you say he looked like again?"

"Red hair.. well built and uh.. cloaked at most times.." Wilde replied.

"Good Good...." 'Master' said walking out of the room while Wilde trembled in fear. This was the ability of the man who owned Nigra Forum and the brother of the King.
