EMMA

~

"Emma!"

"Emma!"

"No no… no!"

"Emma!"

"NO!" I screamed, flashing my eyes open and panic filled my body when I felt hands on me, it made me remember that filthy vampire's hands, it still haunts me.

"Emma, calm down!"

"No!"

"Emma… it's me, Owen!"

My body stilled and my trembling gaze darted to his brown eyes, not red ones or the face of the man that plagued my dreams, it was just Owen trying to get me to recognize him.

"It's me okay, it was just a dream," he said softly and I felt tears leaking from my eyes, next I engulfed him in a hug wanting to feel some safe comfort but when his body tensed at my action and I quickly pulled away using the back of my hand to dry my tears, my glasses hoisting up, before setting it properly.

"I-I'm sorry," I said in a low tone.

"No no, it's okay"

I nodded with a sniff.

"You had a bad dream that's all, it wasn't real"
