Poison

"The same poison, huh?!" Calixto tilted his head to the ceiling, processing all the possible scenarios in his head about what Benjie told him.

"Yup. That's what your cousin said."

"Uncle. Talon is my uncle," he said, correcting Benjie who was already in his bed, leaning his head against the headboard. His eyes were droopy with sleepiness.

When Benjie came to the kitchen to discuss a message that Talon left for him, he decided to hear Talon's message here in the privacy of Benji's room.

He had brought Iris back to her room first before they had come here. He had not expected what Talon's message was.

After hearing it, he regretted not talking to Talon.

"I delivered the message, I'll go to sleep…"

Calixto looked at Benjie who had already fallen asleep.
