A young boy stood in a courtyard pounding a training dummy with his bare hands the broken remains of previous dummies surrounding him.
He exuded a ferocious aura as he brutalized the newest training dummy by viciously striking it over and over while burning his boiling blood Qi turning his body into a raging furnace.
The surrounding environment was dyed red by his vast amounts of powerful searing hot blood Qi.
The heat generated by the simple action of utilizing his blood Qi caused his body to steam like a freshly cooked piece of meat.
It even slightly burned the fabric skin of the dummy and caused the moisture on the ground to turn into even more steam only adding to the already intense heat.
The strange thing about this scene though wasn't the boy's outrageous Qi but it was actually the boy himself.
He appeared to be only 5 years old but his body was heavily muscular with bronze skin and wild jet black hair that grew down to his shoulders.
This was Mao Qiang now a five-year-old child and after two years of training, he has reached the peak of the golden core realm.
You're probably asking a lot of questions like how he got like this well, to begin with.
Two years ago when he first broke through into the golden core realm and unlocked his Dao ability he learned about his ability and just how strong it was.
His ability was the top-tier Dao ability Mountain-Pushing and Sea-Filling ability which was simple but powerful nonetheless.
When used this ability would increase strength in all directions.
As long as one cultivated this ability they would be able to push down a mountain and fill up a sea with a raise of their hand.
It was a simple and overbearing ability but like all top-tier abilities, it was just too hard to learn with many trying but failing to understand it in the end.
But that's not me though since it's my innate ability I can easily use it and over these past two years I've come to understand it greatly.
To demonstrate I decided to punch the dummy this time using my ability.
I condensed my blood Qi and punch out toward the dummy activating my ability just before contact.
"Push down the Mountain! Fill up the Sea!"
Suddenly my blood Qi doubled in strength obliterating the training dummy.
This was my Dao ability and I sure did love it.
It was so simple yet so deadly it was perfect for me with it I'm unstoppable.
"I think I'll be ready soon," mumbled Mao Qiang as he set up another training dummy.
What he meant was he was ready to break through to the Nascent soul realm next but to do that he had to understand his ability more.
For a cultivator to break through to the Nascent soul realm from the golden core realm they must comprehend a Dao and baptize their golden core with that Dao so that it transforms into a Nascent soul.
Usually, a cultivator would baptize their soul with the Dao associated with their innate Dao ability which is what I'm gonna do but my innate Dao is a rather difficult one to comprehend.
It was the ancient Dao of strength also known as the great physical Dao.
It was considered the oldest Dao humans ever cultivated but it was also a very hard one to understand after all what was strength.
We all have our own definition of strength but which one was the real meaning of strength?
If I wanna get anywhere with this Dao I had to find out what true strength was to me and to do that I'm gonna do intense physical training.
I've done research on how cultivators of the past have comprehended the Dao of strength and I understand what I must do.
First I must strengthen my body to the greatest extent possible.
Second I must begin using body refining techniques to increase the amount and potency of my blood Qi.
Lastly, I must begin fighting living opponents to better understand strength.
I have actually been using a body refining technique these past two years it's called the venerated ichor method.
It was a very taxing body refining technique but was a very effective one tailored-made for cultivating blood Qi.
By practicing I can turn my blood Qi into a very concentrated kind of blood Qi called golden blood Qi.
I even have a few drops of golden blood Qi flowing inside me and let me tell you just this tiny amount is greater than all my blood Qi put together and it was utter hell trying to make those three tiny drops.
I almost died the first time I used this technique because I wasn't prepared for its vicious consumption.
Then I almost died again when I tried making a drop of golden blood Qi.
However, I don't regret my choice I remember me asking my father for a body refining technique one that would give me amazing results.
I remember the way he looked at me and said if I was prepared to possibly die trying but I still said yes then he gave me this old technique that was apparently created by an ancient tribe in the northern lands called the venerated ichor method.
It was tough but I endured and have been using all kinds of pills and other resources to strengthen my already powerful body.
Even relentlessly training in this courtyard every day for hours at a time until I collapse from exhaustion.
It's all paid off though I'm only five years old but I'm already 6 feet tall and weigh over 900 pounds of pure muscle.
My bones are as dense as diamonds and my skin is tougher than steel.
I can shatter even the toughest of metals with nothing but my physical strength alone with no need to use my Qi.
Bear in mind that when I was a day old I was strong enough to kill a grown man by throwing him dozens of feet away and through a reinforced stone column.
Then add up my fierce training regimen and all those body-enhancing pills and herbs I've been taking then tell how strong I am.
I'm not even counting my top-tier ability those increase all my strengths.
Not to sound arrogant here but in terms of brute strength, I doubt there's any other human cultivator in the southern lands who could possibly be stronger than me.
Still, though I haven't fought anyone so I don't know how strong I am compared to the other cultivators in the southern lands.
I asked father but he said to just keep training for now.
I don't understand why he won't find a monster or some vagabond cultivator to fight me it's so frustrating I can only hope he brings me an opponent soon though I'm so fucking bored with hitting lifeless dummies.
As Mao Qiang trained he wasn't aware that in the near future he would have all the opponents he could possibly fight in the upcoming sacred yang field convention.
