Chapter 50: End Of Day 1

Grimmjow released a high pitched howl that sent Ania tumbling back through the dirt "Jeez that was just his sound waves" she thought to herself standing back up to find Grimmjow walking around the battlefield on all fours like a feline stalking its prey and looking for an opening.

"Unfortunately for you kitty this is one prey that you won't be able to take down so easily" Ania said racing towards Grimmjow and swinging Kanzen Bi at his torso as he elegantly leapt past each swing before bringing down one of his clawed hands across Ania's arms leaving a long bloody scratch mark. "I must say your blood is rather tasty" Grimmjow leapt back licking his claws before smirking "Makes me wonder just how the rest of you would taste" "Care to find out? That is if you can" Ania smiled back before wincing slightly as blood trickled down from her arm onto the dirt below.

Leaping high into the air Grimmjow brought one of his claws flying down as it clashed against Kanzen Bi sparks flying into the air. Ania leapt back as she noticed a foot sweeping around leaving it to only cut the air as the feline landing nimbly on the ground while Ania took a brief moment to try and catch her breath exhausted from what felt like 4 hours of fighting as fatigue was starting to set in and yet Grimmjow wasn't even breaking a sweat.

Before anyone could make another move the pink mist surrounding the battlefield slowly began to dissolve while Grimmjow returned back to his normal form and slowly began to disappear as well his smirk the last thing to be seen before he vanished completely. "I think that's enough training for today" Kanzen Bi's voice was heard before the sleek black panther suddenly appeared lazily laying on the ground as it let out a loud yawn.

"You'll have to figure that out on your own, well until tomorrow morning see ya" Kanzen Bi dissolved away turning back into the training dummy leaving Ania wondering just what she was supposed to do in order to pass this test. "I'd have to say your training is right up there in weirdness especially considering you aren't fighting your zanpakuto spirit but then I guess everyone's different" Mitch said appearing behind Ania before noticing the rather nasty scratch marks on her arms. "Go take a bath in the hot springs they'll help you recover for tomorrow" he pointed off in the distance where Ania saw steam rising into the air.

"Woah these hot springs really are something all my strength has returned and every single wound has been patched up" Ania gasped sitting across from Yoruichi in amazement as she held her hand up noticing not a single scratch nor scar remained. "They're especially useful for people training, I recall when Mitch was undergoing his bankai training he was practically living in the spa he had that many injuries".

"Don't blame the fact that I decided to train after I was done training with Ashura" a voice came from above the girls as they looked up to find Mitch hanging upside down from a branch smiling. "Room for one more?" Ania's response came as she pointed two fingers at him "Binding Art 61: Six Rods prison of light" leaving him pinned up against the cliff wall by the torso as he smirked "Well then revenge sure is a bitch". "That should keep you at bay for the moment" Ania smiled at her victory as she began to wash her face only to hear Mitch's voice coming from another location "Did you really think a half strength kido spell would be able to hold me in place?"

Looking back she found him standing at the foot of the springs grinning "Destructive Art 31: Shot of red fire" a red orb shot out from the palm of her hand exploding directly in his face as he let out a cough his face slightly charred. "Perhaps teaching you kido wasn't the best idea, you now have more unique ways of punishing me…." Ania nodded her head in agreement as Mitch shunpoed away before she found another spell to utilize on him.

"That boy really is something I tell you" Yoruichi burst out laughing before changing the topic back to Ania's training "Any idea what your training is about? Staring up into the sky she thought back to Grimmjow "Not really but Grimmjow…. I feel like I know him from somewhere and yet I just can't quiet put my finger on it". "He sure was a looker though wasn't he" Yoruichi whistled as Ania nodded her head in agreement recalling his flowing blue hair, chiseled body and that cocky smirk plastered across that handsome face of his.

"Is this what goes on during 'girl talk', what men look like" Mitch's voice came from high on the clifftop as Ania by reflex extended out her hand ready to let loose another kido spell "I'm not here to make fun of you so relax I actually wanted to sit and chat" "No perving" she said as Mitch leapt down and laid against the edge of the spa facing away from the girls "Wouldn't dream of it".

"Tom had the exact same problem you're facing right now so I wouldn't spend so much time wracking your brain trying to figure it all out because in time it will eventually make sense to you". "I suppose you're right" Ania said laying her back and staring up into the night sky still thinking about just who the dark and mysterious Grimmjow was.

After soaking in the springs for a few more minutes Ania and Mitch arrived back at their sleeping area "I suggest getting as much sleep as you can since it'll be another big day tomorrow". Clambering into her sleeping bag Ania looked up at Mitch "Aren't you coming to bed as well?" "That's a nice offer but I have some other things to take care of" he said grinning as Ania sighed and rolled over to sleep before mumbling "You and your damn training".

"Better head somewhere further away so I don't wake her" as he walked past the campfire Yoruichi came walking out of the shadows "Really you're off to train just after you expended all that reiatsu to heal yourself this morning?" "What I took a nap and restored my strength" "Unbelievable" she just shook her head walking off towards her sleeping bag as Mitch shunpoed off eager to begin his nightly training.
