Target of the Traitors

I've been waiting quietly in my room for a while.

The noise outside seems to have stopped, but it's unclear whether it's safe outside.

I slowly sat on the tatami and closed my eyes. It didn't make sense at all that the surrounding area was so quiet compared to before.

I tried to feel what was going on around me.

Strange, I can't feel anything. The same thing happened when I tried to try again it seems like I'm being blocked by something.

They walked past my room talking.

When their voices began to sound hoarse, I realized that they were moving away. It was clear from their voices that they were not good people.

I thought they were walking away, I guess they are fighting because they ran into the Instructor. I saw the burly man lift Instructor Tomatsu from the dust by his neck.

As they let go of Instructor Tomatsu, they saw me standing still. I was aware that I had to run away until now, but the pressure I felt from these two people I saw in front of me prevented me from moving.

When the burly man turned his head to look at the man beside him, he saw that he was not there.

I turned my head back when I felt a hand on my shoulder.

Then suddenly something yellow appeared all over his hand and he had to let go of my throat.

I was coughing like crazy as I tried to breathe.

I looked back and saw Instructor Tomatsu's bloodied face. He had a facial expression telling me to run.

I immediately stood up and started running as fast as I could to the exit of the academy. I could hear the voices of those behind me as I ran.

"Dai, are you going to let him escape. He can tell the others about our purpose!"

"Stupid, if you had finished that guy already, he wouldn't have run. Anyway, we'll have done our business by the time they come."

By the time I got to the exit of the academy, my legs were shaking with exhaustion. I realize that I shouldn't have stopped, I have to somehow find Captain Marahiba.

I fell to my knees as I tried to step up.

When I heard a familiar voice, I lifted my head and looked at the owner of the voice. She was Miyahara.

She must have noticed the bruises on my neck, because she immediately approached me and began to examine it.

"What happened here? I was planning to catch up with Captain Rukia, or has the battle come this far?"

I took a breath so I could speak.

"Two..."

"Two?"

"Two Shinigami named Dai and Yamamato are going to a place called Central 46."

"Where did you learn that? Are you sure?"

She cast a serious look into my eyes. She seemed to believe that I wasn't lying and immediately stood up and continued her speech before leaving.

"Get as far away from here as you can, I'm going to inform the captains."

She disappeared in front of me in an instant, and I felt the wind on my face as she disappeared. I know I have to get out of here, but where will I going?

As I started walking again, I started to hear Zanpaktou's voice.

[Turn left ahead.]

"Where are we going?"

I kept moving forward as Zanpaktou said. For a few minutes he led me through streets I had never seen before.

After walking a little further, I came to a huge garden. In the middle of this place, there was a place surrounded by huge walls and a huge hole in the middle.

"Where is here?"

Zanpaktou did not answer my question. Then I turned around as I sensed several people appearing behind me.

"Jin-kun? What are you doing here?"

There was Captain Marahiba and several other captains wearing the same uniform that went with him.

So this is Central 46?

Then why did Zanpaktou tell me to come here?

"I-I don't know, I think I'm lost."

"Marahiba-kun, is this boy on your team?"

"Not yet, but after graduating from the academy, he'll be on my team."

"Then what is an academy student doing here?"

"Didn't you hear it from him too, Shibuya-san. He said lost. Don't worry Jin-kun, nothing will happen to you as long as you stay by our side."<

Captain Marahiba gestured for me to approach him. The other captains stared at me for a while, expressionless, and then we started walking towards the huge hole in the middle of Central 46.

I was right behind Captain Marahiba until I got inside.

We started down the dark and steep stairs. After walking through the cramped walls for a while, we entered an open door.

This slightly dark place looked small when viewed from the outside, but when we entered inside, we realized that we were wrong.

The inside was completely different from the outside.

There were two people whose silhouettes appeared in the distance. It was obvious that those approaching here were two Shinigami named Dai and Yamamato.

"My esteemed captains. I am sorry to say that you have arrived later than expected. We have already finished our work here."

"Dai! How can you betray me and your Team?!"

As the burly man named Yamamoto was about to attack Captain Rukia, the other captains beside me took action.

The captains were attacking with overwhelming superiority, but Yamamato and Dai were not weak. Dai freed himself from being frozen, and he and Yamamato disappeared for a few seconds, appearing further away.

"Let's not keep Aizen-sama waiting any longer, shall we, Yamamoto."

"Hmmhmm"

Dai extended his hand in front of him and moved his hand from left to right. A slit formed behind the two of them, and they both went in from there.

Captain Rukia rushed forward to not let them escape, but was unable to catch up in time. As Captain Rukia was about to stab her sword, the slit disappeared in an instant.
