Chapter 5: Lunch in the Courtyard

Hiroshi walked into the classroom, greeted by the familiar sight of his classmates milling around before the start of the lesson. As he stepped inside, his desk mate, Tatsuki Arisawa, turned to greet him with a bright smile. Standing next to her was Orihime Inoue, her best friend, who also smiled warmly at him.

"Good morning, Hiroshi-kun," Tatsuki said cheerfully.

Tatsuki was athletic and lean with short black hair and intense, piercing eyes. She exuded a tough yet approachable aura, and her tomboyish charm was balanced by a genuine kindness.

"Morning, Hiroshi-san!" Orihime also greeted him.

Orihime, on the other hand, had long auburn hair and bright, lively eyes. Her most noticeable feature, however, was her ample figure, something Hiroshi couldn't help but notice.

Hiroshi didn't want to seem like a creep. Even though it was tempting to stare.

So he went with the most suitable option.

"Must not stare... Must not stare..." Hiroshi silently repeated to himself, forcing his eyes to meet Orihime's.

He managed to muster a smile, feeling a bit awkward but determined to maintain his composure.

"Morning, Tatsuki-san, Orihime-san," he replied, trying to keep his tone casual.

Orihime giggled, while Tatsuki nodded.

"You're looking more awake today, Hiroshi-kun," Tatsuki observed.

"Yeah, I'm starting to get used to the new routine," Hiroshi replied, scratching the back of his head.

As he took his seat, Hiroshi glanced around the room. His gaze landed on Ichigo Kurosaki, who was sitting at his desk, watching him with mild curiosity. Hiroshi raised his hand and waved with a friendly smile. Ichigo nodded in acknowledgment, a small smile tugging at the corners of his mouth.

Even though the previous owner wasn't best friend with ichios and his gang. But they still were classmates and greeted each other regularly.

Settling into his seat, Hiroshi his mind trailed off to what he concluded yesterday. He came to the conclusion that the events of the Anime will start in a couple of weeks if his calculation was on point.

So he had to start training and progress his template.

The classroom soon quieted down as the teacher walked in, signaling the start of the lesson. Hiroshi tried focusing on the lecture, but his mind was on how to train to overcome the challenges that will come in the future.

The lesson progressed smoothly, with Hiroshi doing his best to keep up. When the bell rang, signaling the end of the class, he felt a sense of accomplishment. He had made it through another day in this strange yet familiar world.

As he packed his things, Tatsuki leaned over. "Hey, Hiroshi-kun, do you want to join us for lunch? Orihime and I are heading to the courtyard."

Even though a part of Hiroshi wanted to refuse. But he knew it was rude to do so, and he could take advantage of this chance and improve his relationship with Orihime and Tatsuki.

"Sure, I'd love to," Hiroshi replied, He then picked up his bag and followed Tatsuki and Orihime out of the classroom.

As they walked, Orihime spoke about a new recipe she wanted to try, while Tatsuki listened with an amused smile.

To Hiroshi this was different, he was so used to being in his room away from people that he forgot how fun it was.

Reaching the courtyard, they found a spot under a large tree and sat down. The shade provided a cool respite from the sun, and the atmosphere was lively with the chatter of other students.

The rest of the day passed in a blur of classes and conversations.
