MISHA

"Yeah," Emma smiled to Rosa, like she never did to me, even when we are faking here, making me feel jealous. "I'll like that. Want to come with us, Misha?" There she goes again.
I clenched my jaw, "I don't like Grey's Anatomy, Emma. You know."
She rolled her eyes, "Oh, yes. Fear of hospitals," she mocked and I felt like she had just fucking stabbed me. "Leave him be then, let's enjoy ourselves far from all the chaos Zoe Maud brings around with her."
"Yes, let's forget her," Rosa smiled lovely, and they left.
They just left.
"What is this drama unfolding?" Anastasia gasped. "I'm lost."
"Are you three lying about something?" Vlad frowned.
"What the hell just happened?" Riccardo groaned.
"There's no drama," I hissed and left, refusing to be the only one here to answer their freaking answers, when I'm not even in place to do this.
"Hah," my little sister Maria laughed behind me, "there's definitely some drama going on between the six of them. Oh, I can't wait to have some of that tea. I'm definitely going to make someone spill it to me."
Rolling my eyes, I ran after Emma and Rosa, and after two minutes I found them almost entering Emma's chambers, pretty much near kissing. In the hallway. When we were supposed to be fake dating, but it seems like all the damn effort is up to me, since she can't take her hands off Rosa.
Why doesn't she just fucking confess then?
"What are you doing here?" Emma groaned, visually annoyed that I had followed them. "No one is around, I want to spend time with Rosa."
Of fucking course, because she only has Rosa in her mind. Damn it, even if she doesn't love me as I love her, she should be my friend. I miss the girl from the letters, but Emma is getting really annoying.
Though I understand that she wants to spend time with her real girlfriend, it's difficult when she spends all the time solely with her, acting as if I was annoying her by being around. Though she certainly uses me when she needs to pretend that she isn't a lesbian.
It hurts, damn it.
"No shit?" I scoffed. "I don't even know why we are still faking this, Em, when you clearly keeps doing absolutely nothing to make them even believe that we are a thing. You can't even take your hands off Rosa. At this rate, Zoe Maud won't even need to do shit, you two are making it obvious."
"Don't force her, Grigori," Rosa hissed annoyed.
I scoffed bitterly, "Force her? I'm literally faking to be her boyfriend just so she can get over her fear of coming out, Rosalia. Damn it. But it won't work if only I do this."
Rosa scowled, "As if you need any effort!"
What? "Excuse me?" She glared at me, "You love Em, Grigori. You think I don't know that? You ain't doing a good job hiding. You should be thankful that she's even letting you kiss her to keep the farce alive. But she is mine. Nothing will ever happen between you two. Nothing real!"
What the hell? "You knew?"
Emma choked mockingly, "That you always had a crush on me? Yeah."
"Then why are you insisting on this, if you are not even trying? Do you know how I'm feeling here, Emma? I love you, I know you will never love me back like this, and I'm not asking for any of that. But you can't expect me to just let you use me like this, when only I'm trying to help you. You ain't trying to help it at all, and it was you who asked for this!"
As she always does when she's feeling cornered about something, she clenched her jaw and crossed her arms over her chest, "Why not? You love me, don't you? Then you should help me."
I blinked.
Once.
Twice.
Thrice.
"You were supposed to be my friend!"
"I am your friend," she scoffed. "But aren't I your best friend? You should help me. I love Rosa, it's hard to keep my hands off her, damn it. I've been ignoring how you love me, so you wouldn't feel thrown aside. But you can't think that any single thing will happen between me and you, Misha, because it won't. Rosa is the love of my life."
"That much you made it clear," I scoffed. "But ain't being my friend, Em. Not like you used to. We don't even spend time together anymore, you just pretend we do. So, why don't you just own yourself, and tell them? No one will judge you!"
She scoffed, "Is Mia affecting your mind now? You sound like her."
And for theirs and my own dismay, I said, "Maybe she's right on this."
Rosa frowned, "Zoe Maud knows nothing. What are you going to take her side now? Don't you love Emma? You should side with us, not with that girl."
Her words made me absolutely livid.
"That's all I've been fucking doing, can't you see that? That's the fucking reason why I've been fighting Zoe Maud since we got back from the US, damn it. It was all for you, Emma. Why can't you see that? How can you even say I'm not taking your side? It fucking hurts to be pretending to be your boyfriend like this, and you aren't even taking my feelings into consideration."
I swear I never saw Emma with such a hideous look on her face, it made me fucking freeze when she stared at me like that. More than anything, it felt so… fucking wrong. I can't even explain.
"Come on, Misha, we both know that the reason you're actually fighting my sister is because you've always been jealous of her, of how she outsmarted you even though she was younger, that she was more mature than all of us together, that she was too good in everything she fucking did. Because you and her are the same. She's arrogant, condescending, full of herself, and narcissistic, but so are you."
"You hated how she didn't even pay attention to you when we were kids, I remember that much. My little sister is now broken enough to not control her emotions and be able to ignore your assholeness, and now you can't help but to keep craving more of that attention," Emma said it all with a scornful scowl. "You're worse than me on this. Who knows? You might even have started liking me because you knew she would never want to be with you."
What the fuck is she saying?
"No, Em. You are wrong. I'm fighting her because she offended you, and I love you too much to allow anyone to say any kind of shit about you. Even if it's Zoe Maud who's saying."
"Yes, keep lying to yourself!" Rosa mocked, pushing Emma inside the room, "Come babe, he's too bitter to be near us." Then she shut the door on my face, leaving me dumbfounded.
Hurting, incredulous, confused, angry, and too stunned to even speak.
I can't fucking believe Emma said that to me. She's not being herself. That is not her.
No, it's not her. She must be annoyed with all that Zoe Maud did. That is not my best friend, that is not the love of my life.
She's not like that, and I can't even fully blame it on Zoe Maud.
