Black Cat and Her Doberman Misha

[MATURE CONTENT] Daily updates, 1/day Dual POV Grumpy x Grumpy Zoe Maud, or like her closed ones call her, Mia, has always been different from her family, and not just her looks that she took from her father, while all her six older siblings took theirs from her mother. They were extroverted, she was not. They were blonde, she was not. They were pure sunshine and smiles and living in the moment... she was definately not like them. To make her stand out even more, in a way she wasn't a fan of, she was the youngest and a prodigy who jumped years in high school and went to a prestigeous worldwide university while they were still at school. Her entire life changed when she was 15 years old. the day her favorite person in the world, her father, died to protect her during a bank robbery. She's never been the same, especially not when he died in her arms, while her entire family watched it from television back in Italy. That only drew her more apart from them, even when they all came to university and were around her, she still felt adrift, alone like never before. And through all that chaos, one thing remained unchangeable: her obssession for Grigori Mikhail, or like their family called him, Misha, the son of her parents best friend with whom she grew up around, her sister's best friend, the light in her darkness who... always hated her because he believed she hated him. But he couldn't be more wrong about her feelings. Misha had always stood out from his family, and not just because he had taken the looks of his mother, who passed away when he was little, but because he was different from all of his six siblings. He was the leader of them, the social butterfly, the smartest, and he was used to being followed and glorified by all of his siblings and the children of his father's best friends with whom he grew up with. To him there was only one problem: Zoe Maud. She was two years younger than him, so how come she was smarter? How come she went to college first? How come she didn't follow him around or even looked at him in the eyes? How come she messed with his mind and awakened the dark part of himself that he refused to show to anybody else? How could she not shed tears or smile? Why didn't she play with them? What was wrong for that girl to only like black and red, pomegranates and strawberries, and be closed in her bedroom during christmas when she was 10, planning how she was going to get into all the most prestigeous universities of the world? Why was she so... unsettling and different? He didn't understand her, she always got on his nerves because she never looked at him, she never spared her time for him, she never cared. Everybody cared but not her? He couldn't accept that, so, he did everything in his power to become the best in everything he could, so she would have no choice but to acknowledge him. Little after both graduated from MIT, her for the second time, they went back to Italy, after all, her mother and his father were about to ger remarried to each other, both widows who were best friends since childhood, their families uniting in more than one way, given how many of their children were together. Making them have to stay together in the villa for the entire summer. To make it even worse for Mia, Misha decided to date her sister Emma, his best friend, forcing her to have to confront her feelings for him once and for all. Feelings that he thought to be hatred. ======= English is not my first language, sorry for any grammer mistakes. Disclaimer: All brands and artistis mentioned are purely for fictional purpose.

021. How It Feels Like to Never Forget [2]

MIA

※※※

"Did you even know what papa was skilled at doing?"

"Securing technological systems?" Julia said.

Oh, man. "To begin with, to secure a system, you need to break it all down, study the codes, what makes it the way it is, plant a code of your own that will be strong enough to tear down any kind of invasions, and then reconstruct the entire outer security system. In the process, you gain access to every single information that is hidden on the said system, be it a laptop, a phone, an iPad or whatever. That's what hackers do to gain information on people. Just as a cybernetic stalker also would. It can be as harmful as it is helpful."

"Huh, what?" Riccardo blinked. "Can you be a bit more clear?"

Before I could curse him and call him stupid, Misha spoke before I could, "If she breaks the security of any of your stuff, phone, computer, or anything, she can learn everything that you are hiding. All your secrets, the texts you think you deleted, the pictures you hide, the historic of your digital search, and even what you think you hide by using anonymous mode. A condescending narcissistic prodigy such as Zoe Maud would definitely know everything you're hiding if she wanted to. Just as she cracked the security of the laptop without knowing the password."

Don't blush.

Don't smile.

Swallow it.

"What the trash said," I mocked.

"So," I put on the sweetest of my smiles to Pieter, "can I go first, brother?"

He blushed, "Ugh, you're just too cute. Okay. You go first." It always works on him.

"So, you're a… stalker?" Emma asked haunted.

"I'm a hacker, Emma. Not a stalker. At least not always," I purred.

"You've stalked someone?" Nicolao gasped, eyes widened.

"Of course, I did," I chuckled, then picked the blue and the yellow mics, handed the blue to Rosa and the yellow to Emma, and they turned frowned. "I'm grouping with you, be grateful that you are finally on the winning side to be paired with the great me."

Misha scowled, "Did you really just steal my trio?"

I glared at him, "I don't see your name on them, Grigori. Gonna cry?"

His eyes darkened and he clenched his jaw, picked the black mic, the light green to Leo, and the orange to Luigi. "What the hell is your problem, Zoe Maud? Are you going keep picking a fight with me? It's getting on my nerves."

Why did he had to be so hot when angry? "Do I look like I care? I don't like you, you're the one I like the least in here, so it's more than alright to pick a fight with the likes of you instead of the others. And you started this. What? You thought you could just say some bullshit to me and I would stay quiet and accept it? You don't know me, Grigori Mikhail!"

The vein in his forehead popped up, a sign of how furious he also is, "It was you who fucking started this. I just asked you why you hate me."

"You shouldn't have asked me. You shouldn't have talked to me. It makes me hate you more," I said blankly. "You are a embodiment of everything I do not like, and I can't stand your face." Oh, man, all I wanted was to fucking kiss him and look at us now. But at least we are interacting more than we ever did.

"You make no fucking sense," he scoffed. "You are unreasonable."

"Unreasonable?" I saw red, my hand clenching around the mic so hard that I thought I was going to break it. "You look stupid with your mouth shut, Grigori Mikhail, but it baffles me how you manages to remove all doubts about that when shit from it."

"Of course, a little girl like you would resort to cursing when angered."

Little girl? How dare he keep calling me that? "Oh, of course, because my sister is the most amazing, purest hearted, most pristine girl ever, right? The most genuine and lovely sweetheart in the world. The best out of all the Santorini. None of us would even be ⅓ of what she is even if we lived again. Because she's the only who has the capability of loving people without asking anything back, capable of bleeding her heart selflessly when those she love are in need, right?"

Emma grabbed my forearm, "What the hell is wrong with you? Why are you talking like that, Mia? No one ever says that."

"He did," I hissed pointing at Misha with my red mic. "When he bragged about how you managed to grab hold of his heart with your words when he most needed help when zia Sasha passed away. That you were there even though you didn't present yourself. That you were the most perfect, the most lovely, the most compassionate, the most truthful, loyal and honest," I scowled the last words. "That he fell blindly in love with you when he was 10, and that he's loved you since. As if I fucking cared about that fucking shit." I pushed her hand off my arm, "Hands off me, Emma, I don't like physical touch, hadn't I made it clear?"

Her eyes turned to Misha and he blushed as his eye met hers, making me feel like screeching my eyes out of my fucking face.

"Misha," she pouted and I felt nauseous beyond my mind.

"I just… wanted to make sure she knew her sister was safe with me, and that I love you, and also to know why she hated me. Because she only hates me in here, and it's annoying that one of your siblings despise me like that," he came closer to her and kissed her softly.

I stepped away instantly, eyes anywhere else, feeling like dying. Feeling angry that papa isn't here to hug me, to tell me I was going to be okay, that he doesn't deserve me, that I deserve better. Pushing all of my emotions away, since none of them really care, and keeping a indifferent mask on. Because there is a possibility that Emma is bisexual and is with both of them. That she's fucking greedy and is with both, because he's not lying about his emotions for her.

If there's something I can recognize is love, and Misha loves Emma.

I've never had a chance from the moment he had her in his mind.
