Chapter 21 : Aftermath.

A/N : Sorry for the delay but unexpectedly my weekend was super busy. And even now I have time only in the morning. I was not even home that much for the past two days and even today I am barely home. 😂😭 So yeah, please enjoy now. 🤗

Third person point of view

Mingyu went and sat down beside Dokyeom. " Yah. How come we don't know about this someone ? " Dokyeom asked and Mingyu chuckled. " I will tell you in a few days ". Dokyeom nodded. " Okay ". Dokyeom said giving side eyes. Both of them chuckled. " You did really well too ". " Thanks ". " Let's go ? " Dokyeom asked and Mingyu nodded.

They picked up their things and went to sit with their friends. " How were we ? " Mingyu asked sitting beside Jungkook. Dokyeom sat on the other side, beside Hoseok. They complimented saying both of them were really good. " And who is that someone ? And how come we never even heard of them at least ? " Jimin asked.

Jungkook and Mingyu exchanged a secret glance. " I will tell you when the time comes ". Mingyu replied. " Ohhh~~~ " They all laughed and watched the other performances. Mingyu didn't care and cheered all he wanted. He was cautious because he wanted to do well. Now he need not care anymore about what happens with his voice.

The performances were all over and the crowd started to disperse. Mingyu informed Jungkook and left to go see Wonwoo. He found Wonwoo and stood in front of him. " How did I perform ? " " Good ". Mingyu's face fell. " That's it ? " Wonwoo frowned. " What do you want me to say ? " " At least compliment me properly. I didn't make a single mistake and even sang a song for you ".

Wonwoo paid full attention to Mingyu now. " You really sang it for me ? " Mingyu raised an eyebrow. " I thought you are smart. But why are you acting dumb ? I thought you understood. I even looked at you ". Wonwoo just nodded. " What ? What am I supposed to take that nod as ? " Mingyu asked confused by Wonwoo's reaction.

" What are you expecting ? Should I fall for it ? " Wonwoo asked back. Mingyu rolled his eyes. " Anyway, why is it me you sang for ? " Mingyu puffed hearing the question. " There you go again. How are you this dense ? " Wonwoo was never called dumb these many times by someone. He didn't know what to say. He was a bit unsure even if he actually understood it.

" Is it not obvious from my actions ? " Mingyu said bending over his waist in the slightest to be in eye level with Wonwoo. " It is because I like you ". Wonwoo stared at Mingyu without blinking. His brain was overloaded. " I like you hyung. Now that you know..... I was actually trying to get closer to you and also I am going to keep courting you. Look forward to it ".

Mingyu gave another of his charming smiles. Wonwoo just blinked not knowing how to respond. Mingyu chuckled. " You are so cute hyung. I got to go. See you around ". Mingyu smiled and gave a wink. He walked back to his friends. Wonwoo stood there not able to comprehend the situation completely.

He watched as Mingyu walked away. Jihoon called for him but Wonwoo didn't respond. He went closer and tapped him on the shoulder. Wonwoo came out of his thoughts. " What is it ? " Jihoon saw Wonwoo and narrowed his eyes. " Why do you look so shook ? " Wonwoo tilted his head. " Nothing. So what is it ? "

" We will meet in hyung's studio today to discuss about the performances. Will you come with us or you have something to do ? " " I will come with you guys ". Jihoon nodded. " Alright. Let's clear up everything and we will leave ". Wonwoo nodded and they got to work. They finished everything and left.

All of them gathered at Yoongi's studio. He was a Music major and had his own studio outside. All the three year band members were present. Even if the judges there were only a few of them, all of them discussed things together. They already asked the club members to vote through a forum and got the results.

Now they had to sort things out about making the band. They all put out their own opinions on the ones who got highest votes and if they liked someone else's performance besides the chosen ones, they would also be mentioned. Their discussion went on for the whole evening till the sky turned dark.

They all had dinner together and the ones living in dorms left first, which is the second and third years. The fourth years all lived outside and had no curfew. They were almost done with the discussion. They decided to meet again the next day and finalize. The results were to be posted on Monday and this time they will be posted on the music club notice board.

So they had to make their choices before then. But since they still lived in dorms, they couldn't extend the meeting for too long. The curfew for the university was 10. They had to be in the campus before that time and in the hostel before 11. They were able to make it before the curfew.
