After two days on his journey, Urmah was getting restless and more agitated. Each step he took and made him closer to Akkad, felt like a blade had been driven in his heart. And because of that, he got angry no furious.
The contempt that filled his heart and soul was unbearable; he dreaded the coming days. He still remembers what happened the last visit, how his brothers and even his father treated him. How he was humiliated that no one in the court respected him.
And when he wanted to retaliate, they didn’t let him. Saying that he deserved it and those people held higher position more important than his.
They kept reminding him that he was a mean to an end, a mere convenience to strengthen their hold on their reign, and even though he knew all of this still it hurt. He still felt bitter for himself, his mother, and his people.
