"Sebastian.. why do you have this book?" Anne moved backwards a few steps with her eyes scanning the room for something to protect her. Any weapon.

"Anne, please. Don't be afraid of me. I can explain" Sebastian raised his hands up in defeat and walked few steps towards her.

"Don't you dare come any closer! Sebastian, what are you? There is only two copies of this book. One kept by my family and the other one stolen from a very powerful Witch Coven from the East" Anne took a deep breath and looked at him.

"Sebastian, did you steal it?" Anne said in a trembling voice.

He shook his head, "No. It belonged to my late mother. It was given to me.. after she passed away. Anne, I did not steal it"

"How did your mother get this book?! What's going on Sebastian. You are scaring me. Please don't take any step further towards me. Don't make me hurt you" Anne said with few drops of tears falling down her cheeks.

She was terrified.
