Fate

Maybe it was already time to stop feeling sorry for himself, he said almost reminiscently. He had a plan and he was keen on seeing it through to the end. 

He walked past the booth as he found his seat next to the couple in the next one. 

They seemed to have a lot to talk about. 

"You want our booth young man?" The man asked all of a sudden, shocking him from his thoughts. He had been so lost in his thoughts that he did not notice the man etch closer to the end of the booth. He had been so lost in thoughts of her. 

"What?" he said, unsure what the man was talking about. 

"You want our booth for yourself don't you?" he asked again. 

"Err…" Gunner trailed off unable to undertaker it he was being that obvious or he just had love sick puppy written all over his face. Whichever it was, he did not think that it was a good thing. 

"It's fine. I understand." the elderly man seemed to say with understanding.
