Her Knight
Nick had a long night in Amelia's room. He couldn't sleep because he accidentally saw her exposed body when her pajamas slipped.
Unable to sleep, he chose to work on his research about electric car batteries, a project with his dad's company. Working was the best distraction. It also kept him from falling for Olivia's charms in the past, so much so that he never touched his girlfriend.
The next morning, after a breakfast of burnt pancakes made by Amelia, Nick drove Mrs. Chen to her house on his way to work. He apologized repeatedly because his friend's mom had to eat such poorly cooked food.
"You shouldn't have had to eat that," Nick apologized for the umpteenth time.
